The controls and perspective of VR doesn't translate to console well, and is even difficult the other way around. VR is amazing, you are GOING to use it eventually and there are a multitude of games already made and being made that make the price worth it. This take is trash because it is pretending like Batman is all you get for the price . If VR is really not for you then don't play it , but leave my koolaid alone lol
It wasn't WB that wanted to make an arkham vr game, camouflaj approached them telling them that they wanted to make an arkham vr game. This means that they aren't making a vr game "instead" of a flat screen arkham game - this has no impact on their flat screen arkham games. Camouflaj doesn't make flat screen games, they specialize in vr, so if they didn't work on this vr game, then there just wouldn't be a new arkham game in the first place. It's not like WB decided to make a vr game instead of a regular flat screen game While I agree that it's very frustrating I won't be able to play this game for a long time, it's not preventing WB from making another flat screen arkham game, and it seems many people don't realize that this wasn't WB's idea in the first place.
Honestly, what really bugs me is that they made it exclusive to MetaQuest 3, not even available on the 2. I just got a MetaQuest 2 recently, and now I'm like, seriously? Sure, my MetaQuest 2 is used, so I didn't pay full price, but it wasn't super cheap either. It would have been nice if the game was at least available on MetaQuest 2 if it's going to be a MetaQuest exclusive. That's one of the downsides. If it's going to be on MetaQuest, it shouldn't be limited to just one of the headsets. More people own the MetaQuest 2 than the 3, and that's frustrating. They're expecting people to shell out $500 to $600 just to get that game, plus the last generation of headset games they already have. It's ridiculous. It blows my mind that they expect people to buy the next-gen headset just to play this new game when there's nothing groundbreaking for MetaQuest right now. That's my gripe, along with how many people actually own a MetaQuest headset. Most Batman fans have a controller console, not a headset console. So, a good 80-90% of players won't have the headset or the means to play this new VR game. All these little things are just annoying. I do have faith that this will be a good game with solid gameplay. At least I hope so, because Suicide Squad Kills the Justice League was terrible and can go kiss the dumpster. So, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this will be a good game. But most people won't be able to play it because they don't have the means. And the company that owns MetaQuest expects people to get the MetaQuest 3, which is even more frustrating for someone who already has a MetaQuest 2, which isn't even outdated. 😭😭😭
I would be surprised if batman shadow can actually do full fighting movement just like console. Also why did continue from batman orgins which that was random to me.
If we get an origins remastered,that will open up the door to a new trilogy,a remastered origins wont take more then a few months to reproduce,but thatll keep up occupied for a while, which wouod give them time to work on the next game,and actually dive deep into the lure, of they can make a game,that tales arkham city and knight and blend it together,itd be the greatest game yet
I mean listen, they made a big deal with META, should pump up the sales for Meta Quest. Good business deal. But I absolutely hate this! I wanna play this on my Master Race PC. I will never buy a VR Shitset. Not even when it has good exclusives. That's what the PC is for. The trailer looks absolutely insane! I love every second of it and can imagine it being an amazing game - in third person on PC/Console. But not on VR. For real, not gonna buy a whole new console just play this. Will miss out, it's okay, but I feel bad, I wanna play it T_T
3:44 - my words! It would sell! Batman is known for great Game Titles nowadays, they kept the limits rising and created amazing experiences. We love it, fanbase loves it and even those games who are not into batman love the games anyway for the gameplay and the setting and the cinematic lore etc etc etc etc It would sellout on PC/Console anyway. (But a business with META makes more money than the game could sell)

Your argument is flawed, the whole “oh you have to pay $500 to play this” holds literally no weight. With that logic then every game is technically about $500 because you have to pay the respective platform for it. Stop complaining either play the game or don’t
