A mother elephant and her calf suddenly fell into an agricultural well. The villagers immediately took action to inform the wildlife officials about the incident. Before the arrival of the wildlife officials, the villagers took the baby elephant out of the well. After that, the villagers who took this calf to the village, after the arrival of the wildlife officials, they handed over the calf to them. This is something that should never be poured. Wildlife officials, who have a good understanding of animals, have washed this baby elephant thoroughly and smeared mud all over its body. The wildlife officials worked that way to eliminate the human smell coming from the body of the baby elephant. The wildlife worked to bring a backhoe and meanwhile the mother elephant managed to get out of the well with great effort. The wildlife officers who immediately came into action took care of handing over the calf to the mother elephant. Unfortunately, the mother elephant flatly refused to accept the calf. This is a very unfortunate incident. Later, the wildlife officials rescued the calf and handed it over to the Udawalawe elephant orphanage.

What I find really cool. Every single one of those people are now involved with that baby. Every elephant they see they will think what can I do, how can I help. How is my baby elephant I helped keep safe because it belongs to all of them know. They will tell their families and friends all about it. Other people will also have a connection with that elephant, its story is interesting and I bet every one of those people are proud of what they did that day. Not only did they save the adult, but they also saved and guarded the baby from the adult. The best part of the video to me is watching all those people surround that baby looking out over their shoulder and their friends shoulders looking for danger. There are not many people who get to be part of something like this. This was all of theirs lucky day. I always think about, on my last day on Earth what will be my fondest memories, what will I regret when that time comes. I hope my fond memories out way my regrets.

Sometimes they dont want or need our help. Always tryna save something, Animals ask when they need help y'all have seen it. Leave em alone, they've been successful for a long time without human help,without cleaning their wounds,or feeding em,theyre fine. Its how nature is. Some live some die. Ive always said those wildelife ppl get to pick and choose when to interfere or not, when to save or when to just watch something horrible happen,some animals get more "love" than others,....i say just leave em alone completely!! Its terrible yes,,but u cant play "let mother nature take its course" anddd the ego "if we can save one life and make a difference we will"

Those ellies are soo traumatized then get sent back into the wild not having whatbit takes to survive or not being the animal it is and just messing things weird up. The same a holes that say "animals are a lot like us than we know". Ok and humans can be wonderful beings or the cruelest creatures... elephants abandon baby ellies alll the time,for multiple reasons,yes some mothers stay amd try or just freak out..the majority just leave,why u think they alwayd finding the babys all lost amd alone?

@beatadebski oh okay, thank you. I seen one video where after the people touched her baby she didn't want it anymore. Maybe that was just a rare occasion that happened but she and the baby was doing just fine until they touched. Maybe it was something else that caused it but thanks for the information
