My God, that "giraffe" customer who took it upon herself to bother Ramsay during service didn't seem to realise just how fortunate she was that he was initially so polite to her when he simply said "Two seconds please, madam"!! But sure enough, rather than having the manners to allow him a moment while he was plating up & sending meals out, she continued with her bitching & demanding & then she had the audacity to accuse HIM of being rude!! GOLD!!

he's almost always very respectful to customers as long as they are respectful themselves. several times someone has come up to speak with him, waited, and when he was able to pause and speak with them it was all very pleasant and polite.

Small edit: Culinary teacher, Executive chef, whatever, these are people who have extensive or basic knowledge of cooking and they still can't get there act together only makes it even worse.
I don't think a customer should be going up to complain, I'll say that right now before people bombard me with so and such this and so and such that. but if someone has to wait 2-3 hours for food that's pretty pathetic of a chef.

I loved it when, a few episodes later & once her hair had really started to get rather crazy, Ramsay referred to her appearance as that of a caveman/woman & I had already said to my GF that she reminded me of either a cartoon caveman/woman or Chucky (I'd have said bride of Chucky but she has bleached blonde hair, rather than orange like Chucky & Melissa)!!
Melissa did well early on. That's why she lasted so long as she went downhill. She had a lot of potential.
But then who would play the token Italian American from NY/NJ? There NEEDS to be one every season or the show just collapses 😂🤣
Fun fact: its harder to coordinate with more people. The restaurant business is the only one where people leave, and the work flows better. All it takes is 4 people to run the entire kitchen

Julia is definitely my favorite of all the contestants in season 3. Even though she lacked a lot of culinary knowledge, she made the least mistakes. Impressive that though a waffle house cook, she made it to black jacket. I hope she's doing well.
Gordon paid for her to go to culinary school last time I heard. Idk where she's working at now.
Exactly, she was a soldier and had the heart. Never started drama and always accepted her mistakes and learned from them. Definitely my favorite that season on attitude and personality alone.

Jen was being irrational and selfish expecting him to disobey Ramsay and hold back finished food, not to mention the risk of it getting cold waiting for HER food, which HE would then get in trouble for. After that though, he didn't just get angry with her (which was completely justified), but childish. Started acting out by throwing the food tray onto the pass and constantly taking an extra jab at Jen every single time Ramsay had told them to stop. She started the confrontation but Rock was definitely the one refusing to let said confrontation end, so by the END of it all, they'd both acted stupid. Blame is rarely 100% on one person and 0% on everyone else.
