Ah, the swatches on lips always look more intense. A tip for you - the best swatches if not on lips are always on the ends of your fingers as the top of our fingers are closest to lips in colour so you get a better impression of a true colour how it would look on lips.
Ahh I never thought to put it on my finger tips! Thinking back I should've put them on the base of the palm so at least the skin is warmer and softer.

They had different packaging before and changed around December.

Hey Mel! Yes, 212 is Tutu and it has a metallic finish. Really, really natural looking even with there are sparkles. I am trying not to jump the gun and immediately get more. Happy Friday!
I really like them all except the metallic. Have you worn all the finishes long enough that you can say which formula has the longest longevity?
The satin finish lasts longest. It will transfer like any lipstick, but stays put nicely throughout the day without lots of fading. After that, it's the metallic and then velvet matte.

Hi! Thank you and my pleasure! It is not transfer proof. The velvet lipsticks of this line lean on being slightly more hydrating than the forever lipsticks.

999 is surely worth trying, I love it! It is so iconic, their signature colour and all. I have it in the original satin finish, and I would rebuy it in that finish even though I am a matte lover :).

I so agree! It is precious. I went to a museum exhibit of the brand over a year ago and it was stunning. The couture pieces, the vintage Lady bags and layout, just so, so classy and makes my heart flutter as I'm thinking about it. Thank you for the recommendation of 999. I think almost got one as a sample, but ended up holding off on ordering at the time. By the time I went back the gifts had changed to Capture Totale. I love Icon and do recommend it!
@@MichiMakesUp I'd love to visit and exhibit by the brand! The small size of 999 is often contained in packages they do, with mascara, for example. :)
Hermes matte lipstick always moisturizing for me idk why but I just love the texture of Hermes lipstick I would have to say it better then Tom ford I would say Hermes is velvet matte
I love that Hermes is such a great formula for you! They are moisturizing for matte lipstick that's for sure. I'd like to do a matte lipstick comfort level ranking video or something of that effect. Would be interesting to really test the wears of the lipsticks to see who comes out on top.

Hello! It is a few shades off from Walk of Shame. CT's cream formula has a bit more pigment in my experience.
sometimes, the result of lip colors depends on , the original lip colour, darker or lighter pink , not the same result on every one. 😊

Hi Michi, I wonder which Dior one you could recommend? I have just bought the nude 100 metallic version and it looks way too orange coloured so I will be returning it! However the 212 shade one you demonstrate in your video looks lovely. I really like nude colours that are slightly pinky but not too much. Would you recommend?

I live in the states and got them from the website. I think they have a Canadian website. Yes, just checked and the lipsticks are on there. When you’re at dior.com, change the region to Canada.
