Great Job just needs rocks to hold the bottom part near the sea. Well done. Beautiful.Life goes on.

I’m sure there are plans for the seaside area, a combination of rocks and some greenery sounds good.

Well done! I did a piece on my channel but I must admit yours is more in depth.

I looked at it. Just a piece of advice…when filming longer form videos turn your phone in landscape mode.

    Great vid.
It's outrageous that NAWASA Pipes takes up half the sidewalk. What the hell were they thinking.... There should be sufficient space for pedestrians and cyclists alike.

I agree with your sentiments. It would have been good to have a passage for wheelchair access too. From what I understand, the pipes were initially on the seaside (see blue pipes at minute 1:30 in the video)and had to be relocated to the pedestrian walkway.

I’ll have to look into the Fort George update since a few people have asked.

As Engineers we find solutions to problems, it could have been embedded or submerged in a concrete slot with cover access.

I suppose your idea is too late at this point.

They should allow lots of vegetation to grow on the bottom side to prevent soil erosion

    • @OneOneCocoa473
      @OneOneCocoa473  17 днів тому

That would certainly help with soil erosion and the aesthetics.

Why would a qualify civil engineer put an obstruction ( pipeline) in a pedestrian pathway?
It's takeaway from the good work.
Very happy it's in use now.

I think they felt they had no choice. The pipes were originally on the seaside held up by concrete stands but they were breaking so they moved it to the pedestrian walkway.

It didn't started by NDC is NNP that should get all the praises

@@raymondsmith5054 how does that work did NNP complete it? so how will they get all the praise. the government had to get proper engineers to do over the plan and rework the bridge. I guess you live in a world of delusion.

    • @MrVincentiroberts

@@raymondsmith5054 when did the problem occur? How many years passed before 2022? When did the reconstruction start and end? Give NNP credit for what? They twiddled their thumbs and left office, leaving it to the NDC to do the job. Give credit where it is due.

Just to make it clear…the only political statement in the video was the “Vote Mitchell” written on the house that was falling into the sea.
