Update! When uploading your content from Google Drive, you will no longer get an error. Your posts will be uploaded into the planner normally and not as drafts! 🤩
hey! thank you for this amazing tutorial , I was wondering do you have to create a CSV template for each platform
Hello! You don't have to! You can have them all in one if you prefer. Our downloadable template combines them all into one sheet. However, we personally prefer to have one for each platform. 😁
For those using the CSV template, please remember that it is view only. You will need to download it and make a copy in order to make any edits of your own. 😀
how I may received this template?

Hello, will you guys be adding the option to add sounds to a video just like how you can on the platform? My biggest gripe with not using this website is the fact that I cannot add sounds to the short form videos I am uploading. Will you be adding this feature soon?
Hi! We get this question a lot and it's actually a limitation set by the platforms themselves via their APIs. We would love to add the feature and hope we can in the future if the APIs are updated!
When I click on all of the files you shared in the comments, they all come up with Access Denied. I have requested access, but wanted to let you know as some people probably will give up after the second one didn't work.
Does it give you the option to make a copy?
That is insanely valuable stuff. I'm quite new to this whole thing though, what's the benefit/difference between doing this and doing it one by one in the Metricool platform?
@@hollowlegz Thank you! A lot of it is definitely preference but we do find it can save time! We plan throughout the week in the CSV and then when it comes time to schedule, we bulk import all the posts and then just do any finishing touches. ☺️
@@metricoolapp Ah makes sense! Horses for courses :D
hello is it possible to have a link for table draft? thanks a lot
Here is the link to the template: bit.ly/csv-planning-template-2024 :)
why is this better than just using the calendar that you have on the online app?
The CSV is a template that can be used to pre-plan content! Once you have everything filled out in the CSV, you can then import it into our planner. Hope that answered your question. 🙂
Also for the uploading of individual posts, where it says tiktok and youtube presets etc, can you save the audience configuration for youtube and the "who can view your post" dropdown selection for tiktok? It just seems repetitive to have to do that every time manually when every single post most people make are public and are not made for kids. Thanks.
As of right now, it does need to be selected every single time! However, we will take your feedback to our Product team! Thank you for the suggestion!
Hey! for the CSV file download, I'd like to schedule 15-20 social media posts at a time with this process. Is there a limitation as to how many posts I can upload from the .CSV file? I don't know why but I heard somewhere that it was a max of 10 post uploads per csv file at any one time.
No limitation! You can definitely schedule 15-20 social media posts at a time! 😁
Thank-you!!@@metricoolapp
Can we bulk upload youtube videos, insta reelsand tiktoks through this csv? Or are they supposed to be uploaded manually to individual postd
You can upload all of those so long as they are being pulled from google drive or dropbox! Just keep in mind for longer content, it may take more time to import. :)
it keeps saying ignored post when i import the csv file to the planner i made sure the week was right the boxes were checked for posts and i still get nothing when i hit the accept button it keeps giving me errors
Do you get a specific error message upon import? Usually if the post is ignored it could be the format of the date/time! If you are still experiencing issues, please contact our chat support here: metricool.com/contact/
I rather just use the planner to schedule posts. Doing it this way will send you to the planner anyway plus you can preview your post on the right while using the planner. I would only use a CSV file for the auto list…
It's totally preference and what works best for you or your company! We like to use the CSV but many people just schedule directly into the planner as well. 😁
