If your cp33 is having first round loading problems, send it back to keltec after telling them your issue. Mine had problems, but once keltec did some work on the feed ramp it now runs perfect. Turn around time was fast and they cover the shipping costs.

I’m former military and my philosophy on the pistol is fire superiority. I can pump three or more rounds down range than the bad guy. I would be still on my first magazine while the bad guy would be on his third.

Well Tex, if you are crazy....I am crazy too. I carry almost the same setup in a CP33 as a PDW. Now my main PDW is a Braced G17 with a 6.5" barrel or a plethora of AR9's from 5" to 11" and the occasional 7.62x39 or 300BO from 7.5" to 10.5". Why am I telling you? You have known this for years😂

I dig it! I just bought a cp33 as well just for the novelty. However, the more i think about it, the more i realize it's a great rig for cheap practice and practicality.

Hadn’t commented here but great video. I was driving home when your premier was going on. Looking forward to see if it continues to be reliable with that first round.

Hey, good video thank you. I have such a hard time with using an auto loading 22 as a bug out kind of gun. I think I would honestly want something lever action or pump. I’m not against 22 though, I think it’s way more versatile than the world gives credit.

Excellent thoughts. There are better options for 22 ammo now than ever before. I like what you are doing with this.

I have only recently found your channel, will have to look back at the videos, I only saw that last one. That thing is interesting, and the kind weird I like.🤷‍♂
I don't typically carry a bag gun, but I have a Ruger PC Charger with the SBA folding brace that could fit the bill.👍
But I am more of a "bug in" than "bug out" type. 👍

@@BigJohnsonGG I usually just add another EDC to the vehicle. I am fortunate enough to have 3 of the exact same EDC pistols, just different finishes.

@@Disastrous.Affect I’m a big believer of having 2 of each of the same guns & I also have many sets of the same types as well.

BJ, Are you saying this is a HD weapon?? Not much more recoil out of a 9mm PCC that will fit in a bag as well as this....

    • @BigJohnsonGG
      @BigJohnsonGG  5 місяців тому

Nope never said anything about it being a HD weapon. Always great to have different options.

Buy a AR9 from Diamondback firearms with a folding brace and You've got a great bag gun and will probably fit your bag you have. Doesn't weigh that much more other than the ammo compared to 33rnd of 22. Also, it takes Glock mags and accepts all AR triggers!!! Far better cheap option.....

I’ve had em & got em, always good to have different options. This one suppressed is way better than a suppressed 9mm when needed.Like I said in the video 22 rimfire is definitely not as dependable as center fire.

Well, Bryan as someone that more or less speciales in building Glock Fed AR9's. I can tell you the weight is not even close. Also neither is the trigger. Now mostly I carry a Glock 17L PDW mainly because it is ammo and mag compatible with my EDC as well as various 30 cal shorty AR's. I carry this option a good bit. Incredibly accurate and it is Minute Of Squirrel at 100 yards. I have probably taken over 100 Texas Hogs with the CP33. Although not ideal for big game because of the extreme accuracy and reliability coupled with almost Hollywood quiet suppressed......one of my favorite PDW's. Call me crazy. Love these little guns.

@@BigJohnsonGG I've heard that CCI AR Tactical .22LR feeds really well in the CP33. Something about the bullet length, IIRC.

If that's the thought process, I would rather go with 5.7 like Ruger LC Charger, or even 22 mag. I just don't trust Kel=tec
