I remember when my husband and I were in courtship (we courted for 1 year and 8 months) people will laugh and mock at us when we say we had not slept with each other. In fact many people did not believe it because they according to them "everyone was doing it". We had a goal and we wanted nothing to come between us and our walk with God. At the end God's name was glorified. We live for His purpose and not for any man.

You guys are doing a great job, and I must commend you that am blessed on today's podcast and this topic needs to be preach in church for both singles and married couples because most believers and unbelievers today have fallen into this temptations and they don't know the where to turn to, even some Christians can't come to church or talk to their pastor about them(singles) that they've sin before getting married and the pastor bless their union not knowing they were fooling their pastor and they don't know that you can fool human beings and you can fool God. There's something a dear friend asked, ‘what is sponsoring your sexual preference? Is it what you have learned from porn, movies, “experience"? If you did not have premarital sex in the first place or get exposed to illicit content, what would have been your so-called sexual preference or compatibility?’ So the whole issue of sexual compatibility is a lie that stemmed from going against God's original plan for sex and marriage.
That 'sexual compatibility' talk just used to off me. Like one of our sisters said it's just an excuse you're giving yourself to engage in it. And very true, Favour: there would have been no such ideas in your head if your orientations were not wrong in the first place. Seriously, there has to be a focused cleansing of the mind with the word (John 17:17) and with prayer.

I like the part where she said, it's a way of seeking excuses to do what you are burning for, the advocacy should be to encourage people to marry as early as possible because our body isn't wired to honestly restrain temptation at some point/age/environment etc. Let the christian parent stop ignoring the body chemistry of their children. Sadly, many as fallen victim of indulging in this sinful act. It is not enough to emphasize why they should not engage or it's spiritual aftermath but how to be delivered from the bondage of it also must be established. This might be bondage through addiction or soul ties.
Many in the body of Christ - especially the youths - struggle daily with this. They claim they have the Holy Spirit and know the word but they still couldn't help not falling into this ditch.
May the Lord grant you the wisdom to approaching this issue in Jesus name.

You guys are doing a great job, and I must commend you that am blessed on today's podcast and this topic needs to be preach in church for both singles and married couples because most believers and unbelievers today have fallen into this temptations and they don't know the where to turn to, even some Christians can't come to church or talk to their pastor about them(singles) that they've sin before getting married and the pastor bless their union not knowing they were fooling their pastor and they don't know that you can fool human beings and you can fool God. There's something a dear friend asked, ‘what is sponsoring your sexual preference? Is it what you have learned from porn, movies, “experience"? If you did not have premarital sex in the first place or get exposed to illicit content, what would have been your so-called sexual preference or compatibility?’
So the whole issue of sexual compatibility is a lie that stemmed from going against God's original plan for sex and marriage.
That 'sexual compatibility' talk just used to off me. Like one of our sisters said it's just an excuse you're giving yourself to engage in it. And very true, Favour: there would have been no such ideas in your head if your orientations were not wrong in the first place. Seriously, there has to be a focused cleansing of the mind with the word (John 17:17) and with prayer.

I like the part where she said, it's a way of seeking excuses to do what you are burning for, the advocacy should be to encourage people to marry as early as possible because our body isn't wired to honestly restrain temptation at some point/age/environment etc. Let the christian parent stop ignoring the body chemistry of their children. No self control or deliverance is a way out most of the time, if you force it, you'll end up having a depressed generation following rules.
