Extreme weather was when we had sword-like icicles hanging from downpipes, gutters and where there were burst pipes . I remember it well in the 50's. Some winters would start in November and continue on until well in the New Year. No heating----hence the icicles everywhere, save for the odd paraffin stove which used to stink the house out and was mainly used for thawing pipes. Coal fires, burning rubbish too was the norm and would create billows of smoke depending on the direction of the wind. Strange how, in my 85th year that thankfully my chest and lungs remain clear. They were tough times but it also made us tough too !

Oh dear Snow in Winter. Get a grip n.b I’m 71.
Kier has his champagne 🥂 on ice 🧊 with this major distraction 👵
I remember it being so cold when I was a young boy, going to school on a sleigh! ... pulled by polar bears!!..... that we wrestled with in the frozen playground!!!
Honest!!!! 🥶🥶🥶
Official Starmer statement: "F 'em!"

It's winter. You tend to get snow and ice 😂
not in Pakistan ..
If only that were so. Where I live in the West Country, its either rain or drizzle. Rarely get frosts or snow. Today is the first frosty day we’ve had in over a year.
@@alanhargreaves-thevoiceofr2361Is that part of London ?
Oh no a mild winter is upon us how awful😂
Can't you see all the freezing pensioners stood outside M&S as they wait for their taxes?

@spacebikersbills You are not working hard enough. Work harder.
Enough with your anthroprogenic scare mongering
Oh don’t fret Stinger Starmer will look after all of us poor freezing pensioners!!! ( I don’t think).
Really GB, fgs the weather lol, it's winter, when it gets as bad as the winter of 1963 get back to us. Meanwhile try some real journalism for a change, short on real news are we. Alternative media, with real independent journalism for all UK and world affairs.
is it just me or is global warming only a summer time thing,
You never see Just Stop Oil out and about when the temperature drops 🤔. So much for their convictions.
Ah, they've changed it to climate change.🙄
What global warming in Summer? Our summers are the coldest they have ever been.
@@fredblogsmac.5697 it's been altered to cly mut change. 🙄😆
Really! Who'd have thought it was gonna be cold in the winter. You learn something new everyday😂.
Can't see any problem taking away winter fuel allowance🥶💀.
Spoiler alert! It might get warmer in the summer😂.
We can deal with disrupted weather, what we can't deal with is a disruptive government.
Most pensioners might prefer to die than be faced with bills they cannot pay.
Good nhs ,great advice, i feel totally safe in their hands. 😂
The Windsor are finished, if you want it…… 🕊️
I want the boat to come across in this cold weather about the day by the way if I don’t pay my electrical gas bill when I go to prison start gonna put me into prison if I don’t pay their gas bill and electric bill I’m struggling nobody cares out there that’s good. The government don’t seem to care I’m seven years old thank you.
