I wonder if Babbington/Cinderhill was also originally known as Newcastle Colliery, though I don't think so but must of been very close, Newcastle was also known as Whitemoor Colliery and existed from 1853 to 1929 .. My grandad work there 50 years
My Grandfather worked in the colliery before WW1 moved to Australia 1922.
