My Grandfather worked in the colliery before WW1 moved to Australia 1922.

I wonder if Babbington/Cinderhill was also originally known as Newcastle Colliery, though I don't think so but must of been very close, Newcastle was also known as Whitemoor Colliery and existed from 1853 to 1929 ..
