      My pleasure. Just make sure to make the other necessary upgrades if you have not. Mainly a front spool and I do prefer the threaded shock bodies.

      Very nice. This motor is quite fun.
      I am debating on keeping it in my 4-tec and swapping the spur for the HR 48T of putting it in my Slash 4x4. It is just fun tearing it up on 2s in a 4-tec.

    Been loving these setup, still learning the setting though. Just gotta take the punch down a hair for my sct to clear a 40ft dragon back smooth.

    Deciding between this and the tekin rx8 with pro4 4300. Your thoughts? Will be on a tekno sct410. This is cheaper in price but might be more bang for the buck.

    • @telecomandorc
      @telecomandorc  6 місяців тому +1

      The HW is a better value. But the Pro4 HD 4300kv is also awesome. I just do not think a Tekin rx8 and Pro4 is worth the extra money... Unless you want all the drag tunability from the rx8.
      If you have a chance, I have two parts where I run the Pro4 HD in my 4-Tec 2.0. Part 1 has the setup and part 2 has the calculations I made before setting it up and the actual speed runs.
      Here is part 1:

      Here is part 2:
      ua-cam.com/video/vZQ6ICyfQNU/v-deo.html
      But I am a fan of the Tekin system set up for 2s.

      Awesome brother. Yea im no pro driver, so imma just go with hobbywing for the value and get better at actual driving first. Plus my pockets aren’t deep. 😅 and i need two. One for me and one for my 10yr old also wanting to get into racing. Thanks for the advice.

    How smooth is acceleration?, Is there little to no cogging being that it's a sensored system?(kinda new to brushless), thinking of putting the 3300kv or 3200kv version of this in an XV02 I plan to get.

    • @telecomandorc
      @telecomandorc  4 місяці тому +1

      Very smooth. It is sensored and 4-pole. So, it does not cog like the SL motors.

  • @editprevent
    @editprevent 18 днів тому +1

    I run the 3660 quicrun in my gorgon at 3700kv. No cogging, wheelie machine, motor never gets above ambient temp on 2s, no matter how hard you drive. Will warm up a little on 3s, but that is too much power for it anyway. How do you think your setup would be in a rival mt10? With the 4000kv.

    • @telecomandorc
      @telecomandorc  18 днів тому

      I think it would be great for an mt10. I just think it cogs on a 4-Tec because of the high gearing. The the MT10 I think it would be smooth due to the lower gearing. The gearing would mask the sensorless rotation start.

    I think people underestimate the range of the tqi radio. I get well over 200yrd with almost all of mine. So I can easily do a 400+ yard speed run. I say almost all because I haven't tested the range on the trx4's 😊. However I do live in the country and have very little radio interference so maybe that's why I don't have any range issues with mine?

    • @telecomandorc
      @telecomandorc  7 місяців тому +1

      You might be right. I do not get very good range with my TQ. TQi is better. Futaba is far better in terms of range. But that could be it, less interference.

      @telecomandorc the local track is kinda small and tight and i wanted something that would make it more controllable ... it powerslides on corners and no loss of power its consistent......i no its not as fast top end but still lloads of fun

    Is this motor powerful than Tekin pro4 HD?

    • @telecomandorc
      @telecomandorc  7 місяців тому

      It has more torque, but the Tekin pro4 HD 4300 still has more RPM and can reach high speeds in such a light car. If you plan on using 3s, the HW is far stronger and faster. It can handle more load. In short, it is.
