Yes, of course it contrasted, because film itself very contrasty. I will try to shoot it as 50 and develop for 2:30 (45sec less) to reduce contrast Grain is less grainy on the print if compare with scans. Different types of light source About borders: I just like it and it’s more comfortable way to work with my contact sheet. Color paper is not so expensive to fight for each cm^2

я бы просто вставил в лоток проявленный и не экспонированный кусок плёнки. или напечатал аддитивным методом.
Контраст от этого никак не изменится как и зерно
