nice work - wondering about you choice to shoot 4k 50 - everything is already pretty slow so why not 25 , 24 or 30 instead? I OWULD use the slow motion modes if i was chasing a skier over a jump or motor cross- but for high flying shots not really required. My go to is 5.4k 25 (in PAL land so i can easily used footage shots for broadcast if client requires it)- and the 5.4k gives insane reframing / in edit zoom options
Thanks...No particular reason for the settings. They were just the settings I had at the time. Was trying to hurry because I didn't have much battery left.
Hi Chad, have you tried using Zoom function on the RC Remote with the Air 2s yet, I did try using the zoom wheel on the remote and nothing happened. Anybody who know how to?
Thanks Chad. Question. If you remember on the pro 1, you could record sound with the RC/phone. Is there a way to do this with the S2? Also, I was able to log into fb and share my video via the PRO 1. Is there a way to do it with the S2 without a third party screen share? Hopefully that made sense
You have to use a mic with the RC to record sound and unfortunately, the Air 2S doesn't have a live broadcast feature.

I would like to know what the FAA's legal requirements are for recreational flights only. I didn’t understand what is this Remote ID. My drone and my RC are already updated. Can you explain me?

Hey Luiz...you should be good with the Mini 3 pro without havinf to registering it (if you're using the standard battery). As far as the other requirements, it a little too much to write in the comments so here's a link. www.faa.gov/uas/recreational_flyers. The TRUST certificate is still sufficient. If you have it then you should already have a basics understanding of the rule for flying recreational.

Would be cool to see you use the controller more and how your hands are positioned. With the screen below the sticks it looks as if the hands would get in the way of the screen. Do you find that is the case?
Not so much...maybe the side of my thumbs with cover the upper corners of the screen sometimes.
Hi, hope you can help a bit--I've activated the N1 and then the smart RC per your video, but now it says my N1 is bound--do I unbind it and then can I bind the RC?
Yes, un-bind the N1, then bind the RC. Although it should have prompted you to bind when you connected to the RC
This is my question to you since they made it compatible with the air 2s is it compatible with that air 2 the standard air 2?
It is not compatible with the Mavic Air 2

Hey Chad been watching your vids for over a year love all your content and learned a lot from you. However ive been flying the air 2s since it was released and i am a little disappointed in my first experience with the DJI RC. It feels very laggy to me the speed & feet indicator lag pretty much everything just feels laggy to me. Just my thoughts :)
Thanks...I haven't experienced any lag when flying with the RC. But then again, I've been flying in open fields without interference.

That Flyshare feature is that only compatible with Android phones? I’ve had my Air 2S for almost a year now and I haven’t found a way to share photo or video to my iOS devices.
Works with iOS you have to scan a QR code on the RC using the fly app on iOS.
@@akaiphone oh ok I have the RC Pro remote. Wait so I put the fly safe app on my iOS device then I will be able to share from the remote? I’ll have to look into this. Thanks!

I just got my DJI RC and connected it to my Air 2s. I have not flown yet. How is the signal compared to the RC N1 original controller? I am yet to see anyone compare.
I have to test that out next time I fly.
@@ChadB thanks. I just did my first flight and I actually had better signal with the DJI RC which was surprising. I don't do range testing but signal was strong and consistent around homes and obstacles. Look forward to your thoughts and experiences.

Hi Chad - thx for your video. I don´t prefer flying the rc because the screen is on the downside of the controller. So you have to change los all the time. This is too disturbing for me - I simply don´t like it - but this might be a personal thing.

@@ChadB Bummer, I'm sitting on about $2,000 I invested in this Air 2 about two years ago and would like to get away from the tablet I'm using but I really don't want to spend another $1,200 for all-in-one remote.
My Mavic air2s stock controller actually gets better range than that you barely made a mile, and you were lagging I don’t like controllers with no antennas that you could raise and I don’t like the screen on the bottom I know the DJ I Rc pro has antennas but it’s over $1000 definitely not worth it but thanks for the Video
