One of the most visually stunning homes I’ve ever seen
It certainly is breathtaking
That was a very thoughtful tour of the fabulous Ringling mansion. Thank you so much for the attention to the details in the photography. I really appreciated the floor plan too. The video probably could have been much longer, because there's so much there and the details are many, but I understand the need for brevity. Overall, it was quite enjoyable. Thanks!👏
Thank you so much Ray! Welcome to the channel! I so appreciate your comment! Yes, it certainly could have been longer as there is so much I didn’t discuss! But because I make three videos a week - I can only do what I can do!😂😅
@@CulturedElegance I understand and appreciate what you do provide.
This video is to thoroughly enjoyable from the background music to the incredibly beautiful details of the Ringling summer home. It must have been amazing to stay in the tower guest suite, my personal favourite, at night when it would have been filled with moonlight or to see the incredible sunrises and sunsets. Thank you. I'm so glad it still exists.
Thank you!! I so appreciate your comment! I agree, so thankful it is still around!
Incredible beautiful part of our rich past. Never to be repeated! Don’t loss what can never ever can be repeated! Save it for other’s to appreciate, who would other wise have a chance to see our guided past.
I’ve been here! It’s breathtaking.
This home is definitely impressive! Everything is opulent ! Thank you so much❤
Thank you Jackie!!❤️💖
Absolutely stunning! Thank you.
Thank you for watching Patricia!!
Omg what luxury.....😅...almost spooky. Using the real stuff från Barcelona and Venice even in the windows and on the roof. 😮
Shows you how popular circuses were to buy a house like that!
Excellent video. I've toured this estate and it is proof that if you have good taste, you don't need an interior decorator to put it all together. It also proves that you don't need to be descended from a wealthy family to have good taste. I'm glad that you show the museum. I'd give my eyeteeth for that Tiffany Persian sterling! The dining room table was set with it when I was there. What John and Mable had that you don't get to see is their bay view: nothing was built on the other side, just nature, because the Ringlings owned the land in order to keep it that way. There are also the circus museum and the 18th century Asolo Theater on the estate. You need to watch out as a tourist as there are times of the day when the upper floors of the mansion are not toured (I got in the last tour of the day that went to the 2nd and 3rd floors when I went, but my tour never went up to the tower bedroom. This may have changed as it's been a few years since I went). The museum includes the salon and library from the demolished Astor mansion on 5th Avenue.
Hi Louis! I need four more mansions on this list of the gilded age mansions of New York! Which ones should I add/ am missing!

@@CulturedElegance H. O. Havemeyer (huge art collection and some Tiffany interiors); Henry Phipps; 640 5th Avenue - William Henry Vanderbilt's mansion (original and with redo by Cornelius III and his wife Grace); and Felix M. Warburg's mansion (now the Jewish Museum).
@@CulturedElegance 2nd reply: It's really hard to say that NYC really had a Millionaires' Row because there were great houses on the streets off of 5th Avenue (Pulitzer and Burden). Charles Schwab's mansion is on Riverside Drive on the West Side (also see the Schinasi mansion). Madison Ave. had great mansions like the Rhinelander and Villard houses. BTW: 640 5th was one of the Vanderbilt triple mansions. Another interesting monstrosity, I mean mansion, on 5th Avenue (where Tiffany now stands) was the Collis P Huntington mansion, and across 5th was the original William Collins Whitney mansion (wedding gifted to his son Harry and Gertrude Vanderbilt).
Thank you for your suggestions! Do you think I should redo my latest video with a voice over?
Very interesting. I never heard of this amazing mansion.
So glad you liked watching!! Amazing indeed!!
Nice place
WOW!!! THANK YOU!! I loved this video! So informative. The pictures are so great
Please produce a video about the life and times of Mona Harrison Von Bismarck.
I was just there Thursday and was never shown the fourth floor bedroom :( . I wonder why? I would have preferred no background music.
That place must of cost John a lot of peanuts 😉
😂😂😂😂😂 Good one!!!
Shame as a older Person I enjoyed the circus....I do understand that the training of some of the animals' was primitive but with a elephant as they train them in India and sri lanka its the same today...no on complains.....just Americans always have to talk to much and tell everyone what to do. we are the land of Karen's.
interior super heavy
Sadly the interior does not come up to the level of the exterior architecture.
Completely agreed
Did they have any children?
They did not’
Did the Ringlings have no children?
All on the backs of horridly abused animals.
