Hey Diesel. Great content. Just a hint about rims/tires: In the vehicle information screen it lists the factory rim type and the tire size if you happen to accidentally scrap/sell the stuff. I learned it the hard way...lol
I think the scrapping is perfect except the parts amount I think base parts should be 1 3 5 instead of 1 2 3 and if it is any stars I think it should go up by a static 5 as in 6 9 11 for one star 11 14 17 for two and of course 16 19 21
Hearing your complaints about scrap, I had a couple ideas. For sure they need to fix the huge disparity between how much scrap a lot of parts take. Like, having to perfect scrap three parts like an engine block and not getting enough scrap to upgrade a rubber bushing to one star? That's bad. They should make certain parts worth more when scrapping, a lot of parts cheaper to upgrade, cause again with the bushing, why the hell does it take like 50-60 scrap per bushing. And maybe add a bulk buy thing from the junkyard where you can pay a little bit more, but you're able to just straight buy scrap from the junkyard. Still, enjoy the videos a lot man, and can't wait to see what shenanigans you find with mods.
I agree with your suggestion. They need to have a better return on scrap. Spend thousands on junk only to get a fraction of a return on the scrap is just frustrating! The other option is the crates but that's a crap shoot as well. Go to the junkyard, get your map then hit the barns to buy the crates or complete jobs and HOPE you get a crate then ultimately roll the dice and hope for scrap points! Love the game but this really is a grind! On a side note, I'd love to see the ability to do resto-mods. Put a newer more powerful motor in an older car. Also you love to see more trucks and SUV's with the ability to install lift kits and such. Keep up the great content Diesel!
You can 3 star interior part btw, so your mustang is only _almost_ perfect And toe out on my evo does help on my understeer problem a bit so you might want toe put toe in on that mustang if you didn't sell it Also my perfect evo sell for net 100k profit, dunno why yours not
Great videos, love the editing you do to save time makes watching a real joy. Look forward to the next ones, even went back and watched your earlier vids. Great work, real pleasure to watch.
On a separate note. Yes the scrap does need reworked. I have found the best way to deal with not getting to deep cost wise on a 3 star is do factory restorations and large orders. Factory restos give high income return and scrap unused parts. Best ones are from barn finds or auctions. Be choosey. Then doing large orders gives income, scrap parts and chests in which you can get things to help. Basically this game is set to if you take your time you can do a 3 star resto without breaking the bank. It just takes time and patience just like IRL restos. It's not the best thing but at least doable. Doing a 3 star Cobra atm and have spent next to nothing on scrap/upgrades
If the stars behave like '+' rating from cms2018 then for normal parts only the value is increased and for performance parts the performance is slightly increased. I haven't bothered with upgrading a lot of parts yet so I haven't looked at it. As far as the scrapping goes, when scrapping starred parts the flat rate increase doesn't make sense since the total cost for upgrades for each star (0-3) are 0, 10, 25, and 61 with a maximum return when scrapped being 3, 4, 5, and 6. So either the cost of upgrading needs to be reduced or the scrap returned needs to be increased or both.
Great video! 3 🌟 is definitely not worth it. The first car I did a full rebuild on was a "mustang" and it was no stars, completely stock build and it sold for 63k. Losing so much money to upgrade to 3 stars
Can't believe they added scraps into the game for no effect. It did not change anything of note! I guess it's for selling your parts at higher prices? Still torture over and a lesson learned, just ignore scrap...forever. Thanks for literally giving your all Diesel, looking forward to modded content in the future, take care!
Wow, that was disappointing! So far, I see no reason to scrap or use a warehouse. Hopefully this gets fixed. I am selling my extra parts and will use my inventory to manage my shopping list.
Other day I was building my 3 star shelby cobra. I misclicked on the engine, thought i was going for 2 carb supercharger, no... just a v8 supercharger. Got that entire engine almost all the parts 3 star. Went to put it in the car, no engine. Wait... what?! 10k scrap down the drain. I had upgraded other parts on the car as well. So not I have an engine that is almost 3 star and no idea what car I can shove it in. Slowly building my parts back I am at almost 6k, but man I was so mad. I just sighed and said, fine I will go to bed.
Thanks for the awesome content, I built a fastback mustang with only the block a 3 star and I build it with a 2 carb supercharged with all performance components, and I got just over 1000hp and max speed 293mph.
I really do think they need to make scrap payouts based on a skill tree. Youll start out as a very bad salvager but with more experience get more scrap per part the better you can salvage. It is probably the one thing that would make the most sense to not mess up the progression of the game very much.
Is that Evo parts? Are we going to see modded content soon. Can't wait. . . I have the Evo mod as well I love how awesome it looks, very detailed and lots of parts to install. For now I'm still saving up to fully max it out
unless it doubles the value is it really worth it ? its alot of time and effort to scrap.. im at like 2200 scrap and level 17.. I cant see myself spending 2 hours scrapping junk yard stuff without a substantial benefit
I don't see the scrap feature lasting, beyond the first time someone fully upgrades a vehicle or has the patience to wait & slowly build their dream ride from found pieces that are already 1 & 2 stars. It is just a needless waste of time, especially with the low return you get on the older vehicles. Your Spectre looks awesome, btw. I play on console, so not sure if I will ever get to see any mods, but Sony did open it up for Snowrunner, so maybe......just maybe......
i used the v8 2 carb supercharger and all tuned parts were 3 star, flywheel clutch plate spark plug literally everything also fat slick tyres in the back so it spin out... managed to get to 327 mpg with a bit of messng about from my chat
You need to do a proper tune for running the car on a normal road and then run the car on each track to see a better price for the sale the price will go up as it is seen handling each track course.
So D are you gonna get a second one of these and do price comparison 3 ☆ vs 0☆???? Also why didn't you 3☆ the interior? You can't do body parts but you can do interior all that work and still not a full 3☆ job haha
Biggest problem with this game no balancer to increase the rpms and speed rating for tires This game car editor is much better than 2018 I got cars sitting cause ran out scrap so buy some junkers tear them apart or order and get bunch cases I only do that with parts under 3 credits I had 250 parts that were under 10% condition cost me nothing
For what I have seen from different creators, a 3 star engine only nets you about 10k extra? and a 3 star for the rest maybe 3 or 4k? Is it even worth it with all the scrap you need to 3 star everything??
Bro the only thing that confuses me and is kinda overwhelming is when i look at the engine swaps for a car idk which is the best and strongest option for it. Can anyone help me with this?
I feel like they should have at least remodeled or improved the carryover cars from the last game, the new models match their real world counterparts much closer than the old cars, a bit lazy imo.
Well I'm happy to hear that mods are coming Also I think to fix the salvage system I think the easiest way to do it is to increase the values Of the amount of scrap you get That's my my solution but at least I have a solution I think it might actually be an easy one for them to change I know I'm never going to build a three-star car because I'm never going to take the time to go through the junkyard and get all the parts and stuff I just don't find that fun That's why to keep from getting stressed out I only work on one section of the car at a time
What I want to see is a bloddy mod that just auto scraps or something that makes that annoying mini game less tedious. 150+ pages of parts per trip to the junkyard. I just spam the spacebar now. Just so much pain.
NOOOOO the interior wasn't 3 stars you'll have to do the whole car over again
Stop 😭
Gastank werent 3 stars either!
Yeah I noticed that too
He’s only doing performance parts like the engine
@@fnwzcrooked9571 still tho lol
For the 2 and 3 star rides they should add a car show circuit, win cash and trophies for being uber sweet!
Hey Diesel. Great content. Just a hint about rims/tires: In the vehicle information screen it lists the factory rim type and the tire size if you happen to accidentally scrap/sell the stuff. I learned it the hard way...lol
You can also go into Mount mode and add the rims and tires to your shopping list by hovering over their individual parts.
@@aaroncloward1767 it doesnt auto add the size info
I’d like to see the mini game removed entirely for the salvaging. Just add it into the skill tree and implement a scrap all or scrap selected feature
I like that idea or hell, I would do the mini game if I could select scrap all & do it all in 1 go.
I think the scrapping is perfect except the parts amount I think base parts should be 1 3 5 instead of 1 2 3 and if it is any stars I think it should go up by a static 5 as in 6 9 11 for one star 11 14 17 for two and of course 16 19 21
Only the bravest man can do a full 3 star build and that is you. Keep up the good work my man.
Thank you for this video diesel...I know not to bother with scrap. Keep up the good work brother
I would rather ceramic cost the parts and save the scrap you get sane results then add 18 v system and I could push 1300hp

Now I know not to bother with 3 star builds. Wich I have thought about doing but not no more. Thanks Diesel..
Hope you see this, but be sure to run the test track after completing builds. It nets you more money.
Really?? what the heck. I didnt know that.. why is it that running it in test track gives more money?
@@Enigmaprince because without running the test track you dont have the info on how the car performs so its sells for less

I love to see old classic car restorations
It appears that you should only upgrade performance parts as that makes them better.

When Diesel build the engine and the engine made 666 hp , Diesel realised that the engine.... has a will.... of its own....
Now it's sold / released onto the world!!
@@Brooksyscarrestorations that's right mate , hope that anyone that own that car doesn't die.... Just saying.
All jokes aside I watch your videos everyday while playing cms 2021 your great!
I found a Ford engine in the junkyard (V8 OHV I) and i cant find any parts for it in the shop
so theres a new ford dlc coming i suppose
well you can move view while you're painting i remember you asked! just use the mouse on the subject and change the view.
I hope one day they get the licencing to put the real cars in game 👌
Yah I mean even if the car companies didnt get paid, they get free advertisement for their product. Its a win win situation for everybody xD
This is the screen the cops are gonna see when they break down my front door and see me hanging from a ceiling fan-Deisel
and to pay respects they will pick up from where he left off
love the image of someone hanging from a ceiling fan while the minigame is still going in car mechanic.
That is why I am loving the sand box mode,3star everything and paint.lmao
I finished my 3 star engine build last night on a 350z knock off. Omg never again. It sold for 106k.
nice one but you missed the seats and the steering wheel , those can alos be 3-starred ;)
Whisper on a scream doesn’t change a thing
Man, The Scraping Station is a new field, they need to readjusting so many things in this field
Love the vid! But you forgot to three star the interior!
Ay you went to the junkyard for salvage like i mentioned lol only showed yourself buying stuff at barns before which cost more
a little toe-in is okay to keep on track.

i used the v8 2 carb supercharger and all tuned parts were 3 star, flywheel clutch plate spark plug literally everything also fat slick tyres in the back so it spin out... managed to get to 327 mpg with a bit of messng about from my chat
Diesel use a auto clicker for scrapping parts saves alot of time in getting scraps but love the content
So is it worth all the trouble?
Nope.
Hey diesel I started to figure out how to use obs studio but now I’m having an issue editing the footage any help or advise?
And love your channel been a big inspiration for me to do it myself.

You need to do a proper tune for running the car on a normal road and then run the car on each track to see a better price for the sale the price will go up as it is seen handling each track course.
Build an engine and replace all the basic part with performance part and see how much it cost
Just got the game. can you purchase 3 star parts after you upgrade them?
The top speed map is a little short.. a lot longer or endless would be better..that car could probably go much faster
Couldn't get up at 300 miles an hour because the steering wheel wasn't 3-star.
Knew it!
A "move all" and "salvage all" button would be helpful
You know if you fix up car you get bonus crates those give out good scrap and it's less painstaking that buying up scrap yards

I feel deep pain from those gear ratios. Who sets a car up to stay in first gear all the time? That's ridiculous.
There should be an auto-scrap that gives a random number no less than 1 scrap per part.
the pain you had doin this vid man :'(
I get better scrap results if I look at the blue or green lines instead of the moving arrow.
you have to use all the tuning parts to get it to 300mph with that tune but it works cuz I did it

Just started 3* my E46 M3, I lost like 150k at this point. I'm like half way done with the engine. I've aged 30 years in 4 hours
Can you do a 1953 Ford f100? please 🙏🏻. It’s my dream truck and I would love to see you restore one.
Is it really worth the time to make a 3 star vehicle
No
Can’t believe you cannot lower the car on console.
it's only worth 3 staring performance parts in my opinion. Because it effects Tuning.
and it is much faster getting scrap by getting maps and crates. jumping back and forth between junkyard to get maps and barns to get crates.
You don't have to keep tires it says the tire and rim size in one of the tabs when you click on the car
Bro the only thing that confuses me and is kinda overwhelming is when i look at the engine swaps for a car idk which is the best and strongest option for it. Can anyone help me with this?
