The new update changes the cost of welding. Now it depends on the condition and the amount of metal on the frame. Also an interior detailing job only gets you 29%. The rest comes from the condition of the seats and steering wheel.
Base game parts, I made a lot of cash early game by grabbing all the orange rims from the junk yard and fixing them, typically the larger the rim the better price
Best way to make money first starting out is save up all your money till your level 5 and can go to the junk yard. Buy cars under 5-7$ . Restore them with brand new or upstaged tuning parts . You will always bank a couple of thousand dollars. I did that 3 times hardly putting any new parts on junk yard cars , doing the bare minimum that I could afford , saved up 25k from doing that and fully restored a Toyota ae86 , it sold for 54,000 . I banked 47k after all said and done, now I have enough to upgrade 2 cars and probably double my profits again. Good luck to you car mechanics!!!
the most i managed to get out of 1 piece of junk was 25 i got lucky hit the blue bonus on a gearbox it was awesome.... u beat me to this video though man so kudos matey
The main difference between the different scrap values is the monetary value of the parts. The more a part is worth in its current condition the more scrap it'll give you. Mclaren and Delorean parts give a ton, I've seen as high as 94 for the blue box on a Mclaren part
I'm pretty sure you can't make a true sleeper car in CMS unfortunately. A sleeper car is mainly a high HP car in a car that doesnt look or sound like it has that much HP. As far as I've seen, theres no way to actually muffle the sound of a car, especially if its a supercharged V8
The struggle is real, I mean got to level 6 with not alot of credits in bank, and 2 cars needed same part. Can't add 3 to parking went to junkyard. Couldn't afford anything cause it's like 500 to go. And had to redo now on level 3 and can't expand till at least lvl 6 or 8 at earliest cause you will run out of money before that
You can turn off the travel cost (to the scrapyard etc.) from the settings menu, then turn it on again later if you like. For immersion purposes, this would simulate going with a friend so you don't have to pay.
@@teebodk3917 not sure how to do that, but with 18 you could literally fix about anything in about an hour. I mean it takes so long to do brake jobs even. And you run out of money quickly.
@Tim Francis the game has a built in feature. When you run out of cash you can still do basic jobs (fluids) and get your income back slowly. The game doesn't allow you to loose your save due to loading all of your cash.
Before this update I would dedicate an entire day to junkyard day. Spend hours at the junkyard buying the entire place then head over to scrap every part. It took hours to scrap everything lol. At least this update will help players get more scrap this time
It’s so awful. I built an all 3 star lambo and it took forever to get the almost 21k pieces of scrap needed to make it all 3 star. Would have been more if I didn’t find some parts already with stars in barns
How are you hitting those exact marks for successful repair so easily? Is your reaction timing really that good? Or is there a mod you are using for that?
@@DieselDesigns you must be able to do some Myagi catching flies with chopsticks kind of stuff lol. I don’t know how you can pick one line to hit in the middle of the bar and you nail it without even giving yourself time to watch it go across a few times first.
This is were i have to disagree with mods ya thir fun but if thir going to brake the economy then they need taken down. Mods are grate tell they brake the game and unbalecing it to were it no longer fun. Regardless of my distaste you do amazing content dissel. Have a good day i guss. /)(\

Nice.

This is literally Andy Bernard from The Office narrating this video
Very good for beginning a new game for sure.
I’ve just rebuilt a Mclaren F1 completely 3* including all the performance parts. I managed 691 KMP until I crashed, through the invisible wall
Im on console and from scrap sometime with 3 star stuff u get more scrap. The highest i got was 28

Diesel designs is pretty funny to watch and learn about cars
This is how I run when I first open the junk yard easy double your money and get free cars just selling repaired scrap.
I was running out of cash on a build. Realized I had parts I didn't need and cleaned up just of the body parts.
Do you have a carrying capacity in your own inventory?
Yes. You have to buy more garage space.
Is there a way to make a sleeper car in the game, or do you need mods?

What about the junkyard etc, do they reset after a time or are they the same for the whole game? (so they are empty when you get every part of it? )
They reset every time you go in the junkyard?
@@DieselDesigns Ah thank you haven't used it yet 😇✌🏼

Always keep 2k in the bank. Transmission job is the fastest and the most lucrative normal jobs, easily making 2k per job and takes less than 5 mins

I was wondering why i couldnt recreate this but you need renovator 3-4 to do the bodypart meathod. So ill check it out after i get that sadly.
All waste metal should be recycled as their all elements. I think recycling should be law, no need for landfill. Even some plastic can be recycled.
Hello, I made a 3 star car and I didn't see any change or difference

No mods. It’s all timing, my friend!

@@edgerunnerproduction You dont have to. If its a difficult one, hit ESC and you will get another shot at it.
Diesel did you have any issues loading up after the update?
Try scrapping a Delorean or F1 fender. It’s insane. The other day i got 87 big bonus points of a ‘Back to the Future’ Delorean side fender.
If you have performance parts and give it 3 stars it boost the hp i play ps4 and do that a day give more boost
Awesome stream 😎
You know when your in the engine stand mode you can right click and then change the side instead of exiting it
I've had some parts give up to 41 scrap on console, seems to be based on condition and size of the part you're scrapping
You didn’t want the 3 *water pump then 😄
I have 800k on mine and I play on a Xbox series X so it is possible to make a lot of money still
I was trying to be first but then I Found a different video 😂.
Anyone else notice Diesel missed a 2 star water pump in there?
Hi there.
Damn how you get 11 million i can barely make any money to upgrade
Can you do a 53 Ford or something close to that year please 🙏🏻. Love the content keep up the good work 👍👍.

That's where your 3 million dollars went buying a Maclaren and other expensive car.
First
Ya need 500 to go to the junk yard
You can turn that off in settings
Second
Bro please upload the WW2 German bunker video 😀
U mist 1 2star and 3star parts
