I love anything with tomatoes also. the blue and orange quilt is beautiful. I am making a memory quilt for my cousin out of her father's shirt. Thank you for your vidioes.
I really enjoy your videos. I have several in "watch later" thinking I can press or cut while watch/listening to you, but that wasn't happening, so I'm just watching.
I'd fquilt the top and bind it, then treat the chocolate stain and wash it. It'll probably all come out if you use the correct stain remover. So glad to have found you, Jo.
Your camera is great, I just love those shirt quilts you just make it look so easy I have to get some shirts and try it out but I just finished up a queen star burst and started a postage stamp as well so busy busy lots to do while watching your videos happy sewing Jo Jen NS Canada
I'm watching this on Sunday evening, July 2. As your thunder is sounding, it is competing with the fireworks being shot off! We're also getting rain tonight in Alabama. Thankful!
I know this is an older video but I had that happen to a big queen quilt I was making for my daughter. I put a towel under the spots and dribbled hydrogen peroxide on the spot for 2 days and the spots dissapeared.. sold vintage tablecloths and had to remove old stains, that was my go to.
I’m so excited that you finished this quilt top!!! I had aspirations of making this one in orange and blue as well, but shirts are expensive here in NY. I sent a chunk of orange and white check to you a few months ago. It will have to suffice that I will get to enjoy your quilt. Thanks for sharing all of your lovely quilts .
I love just sitting here and enjoying your sew with jo. . I’m collecting my orange shirts. They arn’t easy to find in California, plus at the thrift store they are $5.99 each. I get plenty of blue shirts from my son in law… jo, keep up your sewing segments I love them.
Nice one Jo, great finish. I have never seen an orange check shirt in the opshops here in New Zealand. No doubt plenty of people gave you some good ideas for the chocolate stains on the first quilt - hand wash the affected areas? Here in Northland New Zealand we have SO much rain it's been causing many issues especially with roads being closed due to slips. Best wishes
Orange aren't the easiest to find here. I grab any odd colored shirt immediately when I see them. Pinks and purples and yellows aren't the easiest to find at all.
Enjoy your squirrels and long story longer way of talking. I have had good luck with straight Dawn on stains. Usually leave it on overnight. We've had so much rain it is affecting the growing season here also.
Love the little sewing notions drawers. My mother had one of those and I don't know where it went. Oregon or Bust is gorgeous! The orange & blue is very appealing to me, too! Praying you got a good soaking rain and no tornados.
That quilt is so pretty, love the blues and orange. Don’t believe I have made that color combination and need to now. Hopefully that chocolate will come out in the wash on the other one, it’s so pretty. I will have to check out cotton shirts at the thrift stores. Thanks Jo!
Your new camera is so much better! Your quilt is so nice. We're getting tomatoes from our garden and I'm looking forward to making yard sauce. I made some last year and we love it!
LOVE this quilt.. I dug out my book and need to gather my blues and oranges.. AND.. I live in Oregon too.. Oh.. and love the scrappy border! Hope you got rain!
That is a Country Threads quilt. I got it as part of club back when Country Threads Quilt Shop was still open. I believe the pattern has been published in this book amzn.to/3NYv3eI.
Someone may have already mentioned this but if you could tilt the camera so the ceiling lights aren't shining in the picture that would be easier on our eyes. Otherwise the camera is a big improvement. I've had good luck with Oxiclean (not the whitening one). I take a clean bucket and follow the instructions soaking for six hours. Had great success getting a big unidentified stain out of a lace dress for my daughter. Also, a cross stitch piece that is really old that and heavily yellowed. Afterwards, i washed them in the machine with no spin and let drip dry. I only treat one item at a time especially since these two pieces are so dissimilar.
Love the shirt quilt - unfortunately shirts at my thrift stores are crazy expensive $5.50 per shirt - yikes! I love the Tea Party quilt - hope you can get those chocolate stains out!
Just a little feedback, those red reminders to subscribe and comment are really annoying and distracting, there are far too man6 of them. Also today the lighting was a little too dark. Thank you so much for your time and video. I’m from England.
Love the quilt that you showed that your daughter began! Sounds like a great charity that you are helping.
Please…more Sewing with Jo!! Love watching your videos!!❤
Thank you ❤❤❤
You're welcome 😊
Precious!

That's absolutely beautiful.
Thanks so much!!
Your camera is awesome Jo. You're not fuzzy anymore, lol. Have a Merry Christmas.
I'd fquilt the top and bind it, then treat the chocolate stain and wash it. It'll probably all come out if you use the correct stain remover. So glad to have found you, Jo.
I'm glad you found me too.
Love the new camera! No glare from the sunlight.👍
I think I'm going to buy a microphone though. If it's not one thing, it's another.
I started tearing some of my fabrics after watching you. Love watching your videos. Have a great week.
Thank you! You too!
I love the quilt and all the stories.
Thanks for stopping by!
The new camera is perfekt, well done Jo.
I'm so glad it's working well!!
I had/have a few of those orange shirts! Something about a cheddar orange!
I love that color!!

While you are sewing I'm handquilting my qullt made of shirts. It's going to be a wedding gift for my niece. Happy quilting 🪡🧵
You're patient to be hand quilting!!
Love your videos. New camera is great and sound is perfect. Loved to hear that you have so many UFO's. I do too. Take care.
I'm hoping to knock some of the UFOs off the list soon!!

If you decided to make one, I might have a few scraps to send your way. I used up a lot for this quilt!!
Shirts are expensive here, too. Fabric is so much cheaper.

THANKS!! Orange is a challenge to find. I pick them up whenever see them even though I'm done with the quilt. HA~~

Good to hear!
That new quilt top looks great. Hope the stains come out eventually!
I hope so too!
Enjoy your squirrels and long story longer way of talking.
I have had good luck with straight Dawn on stains. Usually leave it on overnight.
We've had so much rain it is affecting the growing season here also.
It seems the weather can't just do it right lately.
Love the little sewing notions drawers. My mother had one of those and I don't know where it went. Oregon or Bust is gorgeous! The orange & blue is very appealing to me, too! Praying you got a good soaking rain and no tornados.
No tornadoes and great life saver rain.
That is super cute!!
Thanks so much!
Wisconsin is in need of rain also. Will be visiting my brother in Iowa. I go there every year!
It's good country!!
Yeh. Sew with Joe. Excellent. Love it. Have you thought of spot cleaning the chocolate. Google said to use liquid dish detergent mixed with water.
I already have it on the quilt frame so I'll try to get it clean after I finish it. Fingers crossed.
Beautiful quilt!!!!
Thank you! 😊
Great Camera, thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching
What a fun weekend! Just free time to create 🥰 Your quilt is beautiful!
Thank you so much!
Your camera is great!
THANKS!! It was spendy but I think worth it.
That quilt is so pretty, love the blues and orange. Don’t believe I have made that color combination and need to now. Hopefully that chocolate will come out in the wash on the other one, it’s so pretty. I will have to check out cotton shirts at the thrift stores. Thanks Jo!

That's great! I've been getting a few cherry tomatoes. I ration myself to one a day. Hopefully I can splurge and eat lots soon.
Love the quilt
Love your quilts and your new camera is awesome! This video was much more pleasant to watch. We can see what you’re doing much better now 🎉
Thank you so much! I just ordered a microphone too so hopefully you can hear me over the machine better!!
Regarding the stains, you could possibly appliqué some large flowers or other pattern over it. It’s beautiful as is 😊
Great idea!
Love everything you make. So talented.
Thanks so much!!
Your quilt is so pretty! Your grandkids are adorable, but I dont know how you get so much accomplished with all you you do in your life!
I am not a sit and relax gal...I'm always busy. But I like it that way.
LOVE this quilt.. I dug out my book and need to gather my blues and oranges.. AND.. I live in Oregon too.. Oh.. and love the scrappy border! Hope you got rain!
We did get rain. What a blessing. Good luck on your quilt.
So enjoy your talents. Working on my second Piccadilly Circus quilt❤️❤️❤️🎶🎶❤️
Have fun!
Please tell me about the quilt on the wall behind you with the star in the middle. Thanx

Thanks for the tip. I'll try that. I'll see what I can do with the lights too.
Love the shirt quilt - unfortunately shirts at my thrift stores are crazy expensive $5.50 per shirt - yikes! I love the Tea Party quilt - hope you can get those chocolate stains out!
I have the Tea party quilt all finished. I gave it a wash and all is good. The stains came out.
Love your colors. How many shirts does it take? Thinking the blues would be easy to find but I’d hate to start with Orange and not have enough
I really can't say how many shirts it took. I think if you could find 6 orange shirts, that you could probably do it. Don't forget white ones too!
I get nervous if I get 5 UFO’s 😂
Soak for a while in Oxy. It brings out almost any stain.
Just a little feedback, those red reminders to subscribe and comment are really annoying and distracting, there are far too man6 of them. Also today the lighting was a little too dark. Thank you so much for your time and video. I’m from England.
I have since gotten a new camera. Thanks.
Love love your quilts
Thanks so much!!
