Sound up. A large herd of bull elk comes upon an area marked by mountain lions

In the winter the bull elk hang out in bachelor groups and come down lower into the Foothills. This group happened upon a trail, where two mountain lions had been hunting. Watch to the end!!!!

@@SouthernSierraNevada it is horse trail only used during summer and never in the winter. It leads across a very steep canyon and it is one of the easiest places to get from one point to the other. So, humans and animals alike prefer it. Save some energy....
