- Big Buck Magazine Owner/Editor Rob Manley and his son Jay encountered this king bull elk in September of 2019. Jay had already taken a very nice but smaller bull 10 minutes before this brute showed up. With Jay's tag already filled, all they could do was watch in amazement taking in beauty of this animal.

That thing looks prehistoric, what a beauty

Wow he is awesome. ...his call what a sound...
It is!
They look so majestic with those huge racks.
I love the call they make. And the thrill of being that close to such a beautiful, beautiful animal!
The decibel level is pretty high, I read. Like over 90 at 15' away. 😀
I said the same thing about Pamela Anderson when I got on the set of baywatch
ur mom looks majestic with that huge rack but u dont see me posting about it online lol
14 point bull ELK - in the wild. Magnificent! I hope it gets to live and sire many more ELK generations to come.
Yeah beautiful 6×8 almost a shame some one would likely take him based on his perfect quality many go there whole lives and never even lay eyes on one that nice.
I'm not sure but I thought I counted eight points on each side
@@wifighostcruiser9665 It's asymmetrical.
The mere fact that you call it a "14 point"- tells me you are a dumba-- and have no business even commenting. Rack him up, hang it for a week to ten days, shoulder mount on my wall and feed my family and friends until next year.
@@daveharty4063 good thing youll never be able to see or meet it tho
Dude rolled in with No worries and no cover. As if he damn well knew your filled tag granted him sovereignty . Great share and experience for father and son!!!
That fellow has some serious head gear. I,d give him a pass and hope to meet him again someday.
Sure you would lmao
@@Noctifern 🤣
That would be hard to do !
Lol
I might pass on him also because either Id feel bad for taking him or Id freeze and faint in shock. One of the two 🥴😂
He's got a pretty majestic crown on his head.
My God!! I can't even comprehend how big he was in person. Had my heart racing
We got lots of elk like this in Saskatchewan where I’m from (southeast corner). I was a guide for nearly twenty years. When my daughter was born in 2002 I switched careers transitioning from working on drilling rigs into the life of a big game guide because I was a stay at home dad. Sometime in 2020, I came across this video. I was amazed and wishing that one day I could finally get my chance at a once in a lifetime animal. On September I got my 8x7 bull elk, and I couldn’t think of a better way to end my guide life. I’d love to spend the rest of my life being near them, observing, and photographing because I simply love elk. I started hunting these magnificent animals in 1987 at age 15. My uncles showed me the way. I lost my dad young - we both attended the Indian Residential Schools in our area. I’m thankful for having kept the families way of life alive after losing everyone to alcohol and suicide. The 1960’s were a tough time to be alive for Indian children across Canada.
From a Original,Sask Gal . Good Hunt, nice Freezer Pack. Stay safe,To you and Yours.
Hek yea i got a giant 6x5 2018 and massive 7x7 bull elk .southeast sask .1000 yrds apart from stand.. first nation hunter..
You call them magnificient and then you kill them.....
@@ahmedbabiker509 and eat them They’re delicious
@@robkudryk4768 tried it and it didn’t taste good
Gorgeous! I hope he lives a very long and successful life.
Absolutely stunning!!
Even the way the light highlighted his burnished antlers was beauty in the best way!!
I hope you and your companion remember that for many years!
Thanks for sharing it with us!
A symphony of nature!
Just to see that bull is amazing, he needs to carry on those genes !!
Sadly, those are exactly the type of animals hobby hunters want to murder.
@@neonice yes exactly, it's rare to see amazing animals anymore, The idiots shot anything that's barely legal as it is , not much need for hunting this day in age 😉
@@neonice g
Epic Elk.
@keith mullens oh really, you should just go to Safeway for your fucken dinner !!
Such a beautiful Elk wow that is so beautiful to watch he truly is a big boy what a magical day you had thanks for posting this
I love the elks.... I love their sound! What amazing antlers! They are beautiful animals!
I lived in Belgrade Montana, next door to Bozeman.
In Big Sky down Jackrabbit lane I saw a big young bull moose with a nice beard and decent rack. THAT, for me, was the MOST Majestic creature I have ever seen up close in the wilderness.
I saw herds of Elk, and came as close as 30 feet away. The bull in this video is the BIGGEST Elk that I've ever seen. Beautiful.
Magnificent beautiful Elk Let him roam for as long as he lives.Hope no one hurts him .
He has some good tinder loin
Shut up hippie, that rack's going to be on my wall
@@Coletrain-pu2os you are such a chode and give us decent hunters a bad name. 👎🏽 typical from a “cole” lmao 10 times out of 9 coles are huge d bags
@@Coletrain-pu2os that rack is going to be up your ass. 🤣
I eat meat and I am not a hippie myself, but I don't believe in killing intelligent and aggressive-capable animals for game and food. We have cows, chickens, and fish. Pigs too, if you want. We don't need to eat everything that moves 😑
@@Coletrain-pu2os if you're hunting just for the "rack" find something else to do. You sound like a douche. My family take any wild game that is legal to take. I always say, "you can't eat the antlers" with that method of thinking we currently have 3 freezers full of wild game. That's enough to feed us until next hunting season. Good luck eating your antlers.
A regal and magnificent animal. Thank you!
Beautiful creature. Majestic! God bless these animals and protect them.
AMEN!!
May God bless the burgers that will be made
Nobody wants them protected more than hunters. Wildlife management is key.
Drooling faster than a Saint Bernard! 🤣🤣
Thank you LORD for creating this beautiful animal for all to enjoy...
Not for all to enjoy. If all were able to enjoy it, it would be dead. People are greedy.
@Melinda Pelfrey people hunt.
@@cappystrano1 you didn't call me on any shit, you said gtfo. ?
@@brycehaden8274 --Yep, for food , and a few for "trophies".....I hunt for food.
@@cappystrano1 nobody's spreading hate, you're offended by a comment and trying to suppress other people's opinions lmao
I hope everybody keeps quit where he was filmed let he's genes to be passed on to a few moore generations I hope you got a big harem boy
Q
Amen
What a beautiful creature, thanks for posting
Thanks for the great footage! Such magical moments are well worth sharing.
Hope he makes his rounds with the ladies before he dies.
Long let him live.
This boy looks at least 3 years old I'd assume he's passed his genes around quite a few times. Of course you want to keep that bloodline going but man no way would I be able to pass up a shot on this giant
That Elk looks beautiful and terrifying at the same time. Also that feels dangerously close to a giant animal like that. Plus the way it's drooling gave me Wendigo vibes for a second.
I absolutely love Elke. One of the world's most majestic animals in my opinion. The head of a cow, the horns of a deer on steroids and the body of a horse. Quite the mixture.
My ancestors where hunter tribesmen. We have a code for hunting. ‘Always hunt for food, never for hubris’. Our people always took care to spare finest and strongest specimen among our prey.
@Mxyz askme sorry. I used smartphone to comment. Autokey mistake that I didn't notice. But I didn't get what you said before that.
I do the same with the fish I catch. Release the big ones. Only keep one fish that is the right size to make a meal for the missus and me. And I don't belong to a native tribe or have ancestors that lived off the land. Nothing holy or special about respecting nature. Just common sense.
I have the same morals, I never hunt the strongest one, its feels like its against nature to do it.
No way could I harm or kill this elk bull.
I hunted my entire life, loved everything about it. Then suddenly, at age 38 or so, something changed, and I just couldn't kill anymore. I mean, look at this bull. What a beauty!
@Corwin719 I have nothing against hunting. I love meat and tators! I personally would rather take photos now.
@@mtlassen1992 Interesting that others have had that happen as well. I was all about it at a younger age, and then at about 40 I thought, "If I had to to feed my family I would, but there's a King Soopers about 3 miles from my house and this is where I will get my meat for now."
But some evil billionaires can. You will do the same when you become a billionaire.
@@boss_niko Nope. I don't believe in killing animals for trophy's. Food if needed yes.
I was so worried about the guy and kid filming it! Good job! stay safe ❤
Very majestic creature!! Absolutely beautiful! Thank you God for this gift

What a beautiful and graceful creature! Thank you very much for sharing.
Omg that is awesome and the those horns just look at them they sharp
*antlers
Oh yeah my bad antlers but you can admit they do look pretty awesome
Imagine what that rack weighs. Talk about strong neck muscles.
I, have never, ever, ever ever ever seen anything so amazing and beautiful. What the heck. OMG 😲.
Just in aww!!!!!!! Incredible.
I couldn't hunt anymore seeing this.
I'm done.
Wow! Just amazing!!! That is definitely the biggest bull elk I've ever seen! Elk are wise creatures and I do wish people would leave them alone as far as hunting goes! Please people!
If they were anywhere near being an endangered species we wouldn't be able to hunt them. Don't worry. There are plenty that are protected.
Sport hunters are all bored, sadistic psychopaths. I moved from CA to a red state to harm animal-killing culture as much as possible and vote to stop hunting/trapping.
@@acjohn6995 😂 what. Bored sadistic psychopaths? Are you vegan? Hunting wild game is much more ethical than meat farming.
Wow look at him. Majestic and regal. True king of the elk
Amazing bull and amazing footage. He's as good as it gets!
Do they always slobber like that?
Glad this one gets away! He needs to pass on those Gene's! BTW, I like elk better than beef.
BEAUTIFUL ANIMAL!
Never seen a more Beautiful, Symmetrical, Handsome, Authoritative, Possessive and Majestic, lone specimen before.
He is one proud buck.. he definitely needs to live on..
Whats day of September was this ?
Holy cow is he big, absolutely beautiful!
How many were you trying to count 6 points and lost track after 7 or 8
So is he a Roosevelt or Rocky Mountain Species ?
Beautiful elk.
Been in a simular situation bow hunting deer season.
2 bulls stood up( 5s) frome behind a huge fallen tree.
And right there i made my mind up to never put an elk down ever.
unbelievable Bull, unbelievable filming He got close. As an Elk hunter I know how hard that can be
Shooting them probably doesn’t help
The scaffolding, impressive.
Beautiful elk. Way too awesome.
Glad his tag was full. Amazing.
Wow, what an incredible animal! Huge. Thanks for sharing.
Would you happen to have the coordinates?
To the person taking this picture, how old do you think that elk is? I see there is a good portion of meat, their.
How much one pairs of young Elk,did it sell to Malaysia? How much transport fees?Take how long the time from USA to Malaysia?
Why is the bull salivating so much?
He is absolutely beautiful and Majestic
I have seen some elk in my day.
But was something else !
Wow, so big. I wonder how many yrs it take it to grow to this stature.
Just another one of God's beautiful creatures....😊🦌✝️
How beautiful was that!
Thank you so much for shooting this amazing animal with a video camera instead of a gun, I believe hunting should only be if you need the meat to feed you family.
Yes I agree
When I was a kid we lived in Lacy Washington. When my dad would go elk hunting it was to provide red meat for his family. I have never forgot that lesson. For me the ONLY reason to hunt is to provide food for your family.
nah i hunt for fun (i dont waste meat or anything tho i eat the meat and the rest i feed to animals)
Man that kill those forest king are devils that deserved the worst tragedy...
@@nicolaszyx3120 but they taste soooo good mmm 🤤 loosen up a bit how can you survive without a good steak or fried chicken
Elks are so majestic. Especially their cries.
So do people find these antlers when they fall off ??
That was an awesome bull. Don't understand why you didn't crop the first 20 seconds.
The antlers coming up over that grass was incredible!!!!! Imagine seeing that happen.
Those are the Craziest set of Horns on that Bad boy
saw one of these in 2010 July and that was almost as the tank I was in . I couldn't believe and animal could be that huge.
BIG Wow ##!!! Lives on.to cool.thanks
Wow that is the most amazing beautiful thing I've ever seen
What a giant! Absolutely beautiful
Incredible footage
Looks like about 36 in 240 at the tip my God this thing is yeah Boone and Crockett for sure.
Amazing animals, great stuff guys.
What a Beautiful Creature Thanks . I see why there so large given what they are eating ! do they also get fed
What zone were you hunting in just being curious my friend an yes that is a beautiful elk would love a chance at a big bull like him iv killed one nice bull in my life he scored out 367 6x5 with a broken eye gard
Lucky to see that live wow
He's looking around like "damn, not another catfish"
Nice video thanks
I could never figure how hunters say they are for the animals when they consistently go for the top bulls
I totally agree! If you truly love any species of animal, why would kill the top breeders. The wolf takes the weakest insuring the heard is strengthened.
Legendary beast assassins creed vahalla!!!
Outstanding cat call
How does he fit through a door or get through security at a airport with those things on his head?
That thing is unbelievable! I counted at least eight points on each side!
I think Chuck Norris must have gotten lonely on a camping trip.
King gidora ?
thank you for not talking during the vid, it just ruins the yt animal connection lol fabulous Elk. Thanks and hi from Australia.
What an awesome Bull 😊
Just a pleasure to watch!!
Wow what a magnificent creature that God has made. I’ll bet the ladies love this big beautiful Elk!!! Thank you for sharing…
This is a farm raised elk ...but I've seen bigger ones in unit 13 in new mexico..
Not farm raised, 100% wild
@@jaymanley570 can’t ever understand how someone can be so confident about something they have now way of knowing.
King of the forest, master of his domain. Every time I hear their call, I think of the Jeremiah Johnson movie. Thanks for sharing.
why is it drooling so much? Do they always do that?
Beautiful animal living in our beautiful province of Saskatchewan! 🦌🇨🇦Awesome video! ✨✨
Wow thats a awesome beautiful animal ❤❤❤
Thank you for sharing this video God bless you 😊
Those anthlers must be really heavy for the bull elk to move around, nice sound that he makes
My brother got a 6x6 big bull elk in Saskatchewan this passed fall and the swords on its rack are 25 and 26 inches ,it was my brother's once in a lifetime bull elk
Do people eat Elk?
This is the species known as the Manitoban elk. The second largest if not the largest species of elk after the Roosevelt elk
What great video! Not many people damn near get stepped on by a bull of this caliber! What a rush indeed!
That Bull is Beautiful.
In awe at the size of this lad.
Omg the call🗣 😭😍
That rack looks unbelievable. Thank you for the video.
