I wish I could meet this man . Just an awesome singer of the 70's and 80's. Absolutely nothing compares!

The sad thing is that DeYoung tried..but he just couldn't do it because he had other commitments. I saw Styx at the fair with Tommy Shaw and although they were great...they just weren't the same without DeYoung's voice.

When i hear the story of how Dennis was eased out of Styx, it kinda reminds me of the Roger Waters/Pink Floyd fiasco in the 80s. Its kinda sad really when you think about. Styx lost thier drummer yes, but theier original keyboard mistro is still with us today. Which is more than i can say for Pink Floyd. Roger Waters lost his chance of ever working with Rick Wright again. But at least Tommy Shaw and James Young still have a chance with Dennis. They should be thankful and ask him back again.

Great to see a Dave/Dennis interview again. Nice promo for a terrific album -- One Hundred Years From Now.

I wonder why Dennis would think that "Boomchild" wouldn't do well as a single? Great tune.

100 Years is a great album. Cross the Rubicon and Rain are my favorite songs.
Great interview and nice HD footage!

I always enjoy a good interview with Dennis. He's brilliant, but his feet are definitely planted on Planet Earth. He's absolutely right that _Equinox_ is a better album than _Crytal Ball._ Even though Tommy Shaw was a far greater talent than John Curulewski, _Equinox_ jells together perfectly whereas _Crystal Ball_ is looser and less structured. As for JC, may he rest in peace, "Mother Dear" was his best song since "A Day" from _Styx II._ And any album that climaxes with "Suite: Madame Blue" can't be called a "bad" album! _Crystal Ball_ has its moments, though, particularly the title track. Tommy definitely revitalized the band, but they did some damned good work beforehand. I was so happy when the four Wooden Nickel albums were released in a 2-CD package!

I know the guys in STYX say that Dennis is controlling or something, but I think its cool to listen to him talk, hes very funny and interesting. i'd love to jam with him in a band.:)
