It’s just so great that Ningun Isu pay “no attention” to making the 3 minute rock-song . They just make their songs as long as they need to take you on a musical journey.
    True legends
    👍🇦🇺🤘

On Monday 16th, I went to see Ningen Isu's live at Club Junk Box in Nagano City! (Band Made also played here on 2 September, but tickets were sold out immediately on sale and I could not get it) This Farewell to the World was the first song. The encore was Heartless Scat. It was a superb live show. Suzuki played bass sitting because of his bad back, but he got up in reacting to the crowd's excitement at the end part. As for this song, Wajima laughed and said he was happy that the Nagano fans didn't applaud the Beethoven-like pose at the end. Because we all knew what the way of the song's ending is.

    They are so good.
It's like a time machine going back to 1976.

(Sorry for the machine translation《人間椅子=human chair》)
I've been your fan ever since your reaction to BANDMAID.
Ningen Chair is a literary band in Japan, and their lyrics are in archaic language. In fact, I intentionally chose an old-fashioned writing language.
Only the part "FAREWELL TO THE WORLD" is spoken colloquially, which makes it an impressive song.
I believe that Beethoven is the originator of metal music, and there is something close to that in the human chair.
    (Black Sabbath like Crimson)

Hey Ryan, I am glad you enjoyed this one, although I was pretty sure that you would. I discovered them about the same time as I did Band Maid (Thanks to my brother again). Now there is a high bar set for other bands from Japan. Ningen Isu are legendary in my eyes as well.

It's still amusing to me that Kanami and this guitarist has a little game battle with their instruments.

This video is great with symbolism, the flames and visions of Ezekiel on either side of the torii, the black-and-white during the pre-chorus, and at 6:14 - that shift to major is a goosebump moment for me. The flames are gone; it's sunlight and green grass with blue skies above. Without that the song would be relentless pessimism. I guess it's one of those personal outlook things. I can't be angry and discouraged forever, life's too short.

These guys would draw a crowd at Wacken. Also at most venues here in the US.

I always was a huge Black Sabbath fan and these guys remind me so much of the 70's rock bands. They just kick butt.

You are correct. Black Sabbath's last great album was Technical Ecstacy- the last with Ozzy. Things picked up again in 1987 with the Internal Idol album, when Tony Martin took over vocals, although many fans love the Duo period as well. I lived through the whole lot. Bought their first album in 1970- First live show- Royal Albert Hall, London, Paranoid tour 1971 to the Farewell tour- the O2 Arena , London 2017. Also saw Ozzy solo a few times, with Geezer on bass.
