So close but a great effort. The corruption just amplifies the spawn damage so much with the Pig/Horseman quests it doesn’t seem worth it to try without a massive scaling boost early. You serve as a litmus test for me though so I will just continue with base Nightmare 😂.
It's definitely stressful, but I do actually feel like it's making me play better overall! We'll see if the stress can be overcome, or if I'll just feel better playing nightmare (or a different challenge). Thinking back, I remember being pressed by Nighymare when I was first starting, but I don't remember it being this bad for me (in terms of how it feels). It's just high pressure and I like to be a *little* more laid back lol
Exactly! Always feels good to expand my gamer skill. Might not be worth it for all, tho, but for me, a little more challenge after doing the same difficulty for so long is kinda nice. Feeling like I'm being challenged again!
There's a tiiiiny spot on the map that looks like vaguely like West Virginia, in my opinion. In the bottom section of the map, right as you leave the middle area. I'll try to point it out more distinctly next time 😅
Cursed enemies really make the defend missions almost impossible. Ya just cant kill them fast enough without being overpowered yourself. I personally have stopped doing straw quests on my runs. Not only does it feel like there are more waves of enemies compared to stone or wood, but you have to deal with 360 degree defense compared to 180 degree. This is also not accounting for upwards of 3 potential mobs that can be aggroed into the fight if you do not clear the entire surrounding area. Just not worth it.
Yeah it's a little ridiculous, but tbh those pigs were exploding and dealing damage to the house. Might have a little closer if I did it during night time, instead. It's tough, though! I'll probably avoid it unless I'm already level 5, or just do it for the initial xp lol
“REDEMPT…….!!!” Almost. That was intense.
That curse was brutal 😅 but watching it back, I definitely coulda teleported

Very true - at first Nightmare seemed insurmountable to me too, so it is a good (if stressful) way to stretch and improve.

Great vid! Quick question. Why do you call some areas West Virginia?

@ I gotcha! I’m from WV so anytime it gets a “shout out” my ears perk up lol.
@@SyphroPlaysnow that I’m looking at the map I totally see it too.
Ah that's cool! I've got family that lives up there, so I've been a couple times
