My problem was different from yours, but your video helped me. All buttons were okay, motor spinning, but it wasn't jig-saw-ing well with the jar. So the jar itself had limited spin, ineffective. When I saw you remove the rubber to check whatever down, I removed mine too coz I had sensed there wasn't proper contact. What I didn't know was that I could remove that rubber. And "Viola!". Thank you so much!
The motor underneath lets off a slight smell and it's a little loud ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxCKuMxLnvr6fJd_M4SE-n7trcGj3zEUHq but considering it's size and how hard it works to do the job, it's sort of expected. I assume the smell will go away over time. Overall, I love this cute little blender. The extra cups and lids are great too!

You did a nice video and your solution was just a lucky one. However, let me assist you with the technical aspect. When a machine starts misbehaving, it means something inside is about to fail. Sooner than expected the off and on button will finally stop working and the trial and error stuff won't work again. The symptom associated with this is the brush... It is about to fail. I unfortunately I can't send in the picture through the comment section. Just pay attention to it cos once the brush gets eaten up completely, the buttons won't work again. Don't let them deceive you that it is coil, it is not always coil oooo

Mine stopped working too, when I took it took electrician... It was discovered that the coil has burnt😥
I just told him to do recoiling because I don't money to buy new coil

Wow ok I discovered something about this blender, you just have to use it for about 3 mins pulsing at intervals of like 10seconds…allow to cool for about 10-15minutes…then continue use. When it stops working, just leave it to rest for about 10-30minutes and it will resume working. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the blender. If you check the manual…it is clearly written there.

Yes its written in the manual. Mine just stopped working for the first time, waiting for it to resume duties😀. A bit scary though

Thanks for this. Ever since I bought mine, if I increase it to blend I start perceiving a smell as if the coil want to to get burnt. What does it mean?
It wants to burn noni 😂😂 we both bought fake dear. Just be managing the life, like I am doing with mine too 😁
You are not supposed to press and hold the speed button (right), if you do so it will begin to smell (smoke scent) and stop working, but it will work again after about 20 to 30 minutes depending on how hot it it got. You are to briefly press and release that speed button.

Ahhh, God bless you. I used my mum’s for the first time too. The feeling was mixed that a blender I’ve been bragging about because of reviews online will burn at just first usage.
With frustration I went to google to search for factors that can cause a Silver Crest blender to burn, I read an article and also watched this video. Plugged it directly as you did and my mummy’s engine is running again.💃🏼 Thanks soo much.🙏🏼

All you need do is let it rest a bit and then continue..a minute to grind 2mins to rest is not that a bad idea

Turn the speed button to a higher number and try it again.

That's how my customers will spoil their blender and start calling me that the blander I gave them is not original
Guys if you are paying a fortune for it..hoping you are paying for the original German Silver Crest, you are fooling yourself also...these items are not original Silver Crest ....they are FAKE CHINESE copycats. The look, feel and everything is total different from the original. I just got mine this week, I bargained for it with the retailer, got it a resonably low price cause i knew it was fake and that i cannot find the original where i stay...so good luck. But please stop calling them Silver Crest…rather call them Chinese Krest.

Water or WARM water? Coconut has oil so …. Next time use warm water and add it first before the tigernut and coconut. Don’t forget to chop the coconut into smaller cubes as well.

Woow ! Try to get these welder or plastic people. They can seal it somehow. Just get a good home appliance electrician on the street. They can use soldering iron to melt a plastic on it.
