Definitely an amazing idea, BUT there is this consistency that RuneScape likes to do especially when questing. And that is you will have to go back to those regions, will there be any sort of exceptions?
He might have to for Elf Lands, but only other one hard locked by quests is Morytania, and I kind of hope he doesn't make exceptions to go quest. Would be cooler to try and prep every quest step you can before you lose the area forever.
@@ElysianAurathat would be cool if possible, but so many quests have you go back and forth, even if it’s just to talk to someone for 2 seconds.
@@pallettown3358 Yeah I mean more like the very few quests that start somewhere and end elsewhere. I kind of hope his account is heavily restricted from quests overall, making alternative ideas and solutions more important.

I'm thinking it would be good if he set goals that allow him to go back to another region. He could get really screwed over if he doesn't complete some sort of requirement in a previous region

I like this series idea, but I feel like you should be able to unlock going back to other regions Somehow, even if it’s not permanent, but you have to have some kind of way to go back to other regions , otherwise there’s not many quests you will be able to do. Most want you to go to previous regions, also when you unlock the last region you’re just stuck there forever with really nothing you can do.
But that's the point of these limitations for a snowflake Ironman
Have to do a master clue that takes you back to that region?
I think needing to get certain drops or exp targets to swap regions that increase each time you return would be good

Shake pro tips: 1: If your oatmeal isn’t blending well, blend it first by itself.
2: Add chia or flax seeds as they have many benefits. Chia don’t have much flavor, flax are nuttier.
3: Swap berries for half a banana if it’s chocolate protein, game changer.
4: Add plain, low sugar yogurt for more protein AND makes the shake creamier.
5: Toss in spinach for some daily veggies, the flavor will get masked by everything else.

I do feel like there should be a way for you to temporarily unlock an area for either a certain amount of time, or to do a certain activity such a going there for a quest step.
Maybe you could tie it to quest points somehow? Or total xp, a certain amount per combat lvl, or even rare drops, just a thought.

- You can't push 150kg without having the patience and consistency in your training.
- You'll meet amazing people who will get you towards your goals because you can't do it on your own!
- Enjoy the journey and celebrate your goals!
Not sure if this restriction is a good idea - at the beginning it's exciting, sure. A lot of areas to look forward to, a lot of planning required as well. But since you can't go back to an area, there's going to be less and less content, until you're stuck at one region, which then just becomes a fake region locked ironman - there won't be anything to look forward to except "complete this region". There's also the concern about quests that lock content away, too, such as priffdinas.
You're right. This is not going to work without ignoring a tonne of content. Seems kind of pointless to be honest.

Props on the cold plunge bro. Have you tried doing it for longer? The first 30 - 40 seconds are the hardest, after that the body calms down and I start to feel this amazing sensation of peace, and it's smooth sailing from there.
I've heard from some knowledgeable locals that at 3 minutes in the cold water, you get the maximum benefits.

For a sardine, you should be able to use a small net with bait on the fishing spots in lumby swamp. Bait had a ton of sources you should be able to access. It is a 1/25 drop from lvl 7 Farmers!
You can’t get a fishing rod inside misthalin though. The closest place to get a fishing rod is in port sarim, which is Asgarnia.

Entering Morytania any time soon seems like a bad idea on the surface…. But if you don’t go there next the only way in is via a slayers ring I think.
Accumulating slayer points would be rough
This one might require some research - most methods (such as the Mort'ton teleport from clues, and possibly the Phasmatys Charter Ship) require passing through the Holy Barrier in Paterdomus before they can be used, which would physically put you in Morytania. I'm not sure whether the Slayer Ring has the same restriction - Jeporite might know, surely he's tested it for Northern UIM.
@@RamiraX Northern UIM uses slayer rings to the slayer tower in Morytania which only requires priest and peril completion.
@@viviblue7277 Ye - but did he ever specify whether he clicked the holy portal underneath Paterdomus to enter the region as a one-time exception or not? That might still be a requirement, which is why I specified his case :)

I have the exact same protein shake as you but I also add spinach, give it a go it doesn't really change the taste and helps with getting additional micronutrients!
You should consider adding a banana and a handful of spinach to your smoothie :). I like to add a bit of ground cinnamon, too.

I'd love to see a large goal or something tied to each region. Wilderness being voidwaker, Zeah being a few purples, etc. Also I think quests that need to traverse back to an old area should be allowed. Don't want to completely restrict yourself or you won't have good end goals.

I have a sugestion for quest: if a quest that start and end in your active region require you to go back to a region you already completed like Misthalin then you can do it, but you can't do anything else in that region, you also can't go to a region you never got to.
That would let you do quest that require you to go talk to a random npc without much else.

Very interesting restriction with respect to quests! (and it would be a lot more interesting not to make any exceptions in that respect, even though that would lock out a lot of content :) ) Two questions:
- How are you planning on dealing with dungeons shared by multiple regions? KQ is famously accessible in both the Desert and Misthalin. Will you be using Trailblazer League areas? In that case, the Underground Pass would be situated in the Elf Region and that would lock out Tirannwn in its entirety and require an exception... The same goes for the basement of Paterdomus: even Nature Spirit would be locked off if you cannot revisit the basement while you're in Morytania.
- How are you going to handle underground areas you can teleport to - such as Tears of Guthix? I'm assuming that's locked to Misthalin - but still.
Finally someone clarified that the pinnacle of runescape will always be the fashionscape. Of course

This is a really cool idea, so much planning ahead is required, one simple mistake could ruin the entire account.
Looking forward to seeing where this goes but I feel like returns to regions will be necessary. Maybe if you have to switch region when you get a 99, receive a certain drop, or pay an increasing charge (1m / 10m / 25m / 50m etc)
This would allow you to progress with thought and still be able to return to complete quests.
Most content will be unavailable such as regicide quest series, morytania, gwd etc

That fishing rod problem is real annoying. I remember thinking of unlocking Asgarnia, partially for access to a fishing rod in Trailblazer leagues. In that case it turned out I could get one in Shilo Village but you might be out of luck here.. no cat will lock you out of a bunch of desert content though
