What are your thoughts on the CAIO PART 2 vlog???
ALSO, i would love to hear what was your biggest take away from the vlog 😊
This insight at the end about volume of training going down which corresponds with your performance was a very good point and I will definitely use this tip. This Ohan Dai in the medal bout was lit, definitely your best performance of the weekend. Could you do some video about your training routine maybe? Like how does your strength or plyometric training look like :)
One of the biggest takeaways for me is the value of celebrating all your victories not just the gold medals. Competing as a kid I was always told that I wasn’t good enough if I didn’t win gold. But now I’ve come to realize that gold isn’t everything. If you feel you did good and improved because of that experience that’s what matters. Any medal is just the icing on the cake.
@@alexkao3439this is great !! Exactly.. as long as your are proud of your work and what you’ve done that’s all that matters. It’s about making YOU happy.
I really like watching your vlogs. They are so entertaining. Keep pushing. Osss 🔥🔥
Thank you so much !!! Oss ill do my best 🤩
Congrats. This is really inspiring even as a shotokan practicioner. Id love to videos where you into detail on how you takes notes of your training, whats in your karate bag, how you pack to travel to train and compete and more training videos like conditioning, kata. Maybe a tour of your home dojo that we see so much in your shorts. Man ive binged watched all your videos and you can truly see the growth both physically and mentally, mindset changed. excited to where to next. OSU!
Wow I loved reading this. Thank you so much. I’m very happy to hear that you enjoyed the vlogs !!! 🙏🙏🙏 thanks for the ideas too. I’m definitely looking into making a bunch more content after I finish my competitions this year which is around September.

You got this, Ariel! Keep pushing yourself, stay focused, and believe in your abilities. Your hard work and dedication will pay off. Keep training, keep improving, and never give up! Love the vlogs!
LETS GOOO 🎉
Thanks for sharing this experience! Go on like this! 💪👊Greetings from Italy 👋🇮🇹
Thank you so much !!! Greetings !!!
Amazing! Congratulations! What impacted me from this video is not worrying about your opponent in each round but only worrying about the obstacles with each kata and feeling proud of yourself after. That is something that will definitely help me. I’ll use it at nationals 😃
I love this !!! Yes, at the end of the day we cannot control our opponent or the referee. So other than finding satisfaction in winning we must find happiness in doing the katas the way we want and overcoming all the challenges each kata presents. This way, win or lose, we personally win !!
Your vlog is so amazing, i'm a big fan, so proud of you
I very happy to hear this !! Thank you!!
Well done bro! Your so right, nothing is certain and control your own effort

Shoutout from SOUTH AFRICA!!!! Been watching your videos since 4 years ago. Keep up the excellent work, keep pushing. Will be cheering you from the South when you are ranked number 1 in WKF. Your vlogs are amazing! Just a small request when you have a break. Could you please do a review for most of your competition Karate Gi's. It would be interesting to see the differences between the HIROTAs, SHUREIDOs and TOKAIDOs. Thank you! ALL THE BEST ARIEL! 🙏🏻💪🏻
Thank you so much for the support. Love that you’ve been watching for a while now. And I took note of your comment. I think it’s a great idea and I will be adding it to the list of videos I wanna make after the comp session. Thank you!!

This vlog was awesome!! Full of nuggets of wisdom about training and life, especially at the end about ultimately being proud of yourself and satisfied with yourself, your karate, path, etc. Thanks for sharing!! Love these vlogs! #forthevlog

Hey Ariel I recently met you at the elite training in Pittsburgh I was wandering how I can work my stances to make it perfect.P.S I’m the Cuban kid who rushed to get a picture with you and my friends.
Yess ! I remember. And keep working your stances. lol. Keep doing it. Keep working. Everything will come
Oh my gosh, thank you so much! I didn’t think you would remember me. Lol…. Muchísimas gracias! Se lo agradezco de todo corazón!
I have a question. What’s the best way to balance school, a job, and training? I used to compete on the National (USA) level as a kid and got invited to join Team USA to compete as a Junior in the PanAm Games (I couldn’t go because of family issues). I now want to get back into the game, maybe not on the same level but I want to improve and continue to test my skills at competition. The only issue is that I’m a grad student with an assistantship, 2 part time jobs, and I need to train while maintaining my mental and physical health. Any tips for an amateur competitor? Btw say high to John Klatt and his daughter Hannah. I used to train with John in WI and teach Hannah. John competes Para Karate for Team USA and I think is going to the PanAm games with y’all. Oss 🥋
Hello, thank you for your comment. My recommendation for balancing everything is always time management. To improve in karate the trick isn’t to train several hours but to consistently push yourself daily. 1 hour of intense kata training will help you keep moving towards your best. Now the hard part is finding that hour. If we manage our time well I’m sure you can do it. And I’ll send them your regards. Oss
Osss alwayss greattt vlogg ariell senseii😼😼👊🏽👊🏽!!, can i ask sensei, if we get struggle when train, or not at the best perfomance, is it part of the grind??
Oss thank you!! Struggle is part of the process ! Keep going and soon that struggle will be behind youn
Thank uu soo muchhh senseii🔥🔥@@arielkarate1
@@arielkarate1 "OSS" is a term uttered in karate
. wots it mean?
@@RangerMan-yv7rlit can be interpreted in several ways. As a general rule “understood” or just paying respect
Can you repeat the kata in competition that is allowed??
Yes ! After round five you can repeat ANY kata except the previous one.
@@arielkarate1 thanks 👍
Congrats!
Thank you!! 🎉
