I have Burning Ben from Strangers Perfumerie and love it, SF Cafe by Strangers Perfumerie is also a great coffee type scent too. Montale's Ristretto Intense Cafe is good and it's a great improvement on the original Intense Cafe, but the coffee note in it is very strong and long lasting, to me it's almost polarizing. You presented a great topic with fantastic recommendations.
Hi Yana! First things first, the hair. Love it!! I own back to black and have sampled quite a few by Killian. Some have no staying power on me. For the price, I need them to stay on. Rolling in love is nice also. Bond no 9 anew Harlem has to be my fave coffee scent. Glad I own two bottles.
I love coffee and my favorite is Ristretto, so when Montale came out with the Ristretto I almost instantly bought it!!! I can have enough of this fragrance beautiful rose note! I will try the Black Velvet sounds very interesting. Thanks for the review!!!

I have only one coffee scent, and that one is my favorite. Why? Because it is crazy spectacular good! It is amazing! And the price is even more amazing, because it is so cheap it is almost for free. I had no hopes for this one when I bought it. But I had to buy it because its name, which sounded very appealing to me. It is called Dark Coffee and is by the house of Al-Nuaim. It is sold on Ebay and shipped from India. I can't remember the price exactly, since I bought another one of their scents, called Oud Kalimantan, which by the way is the one I'm wearing now, and it is heavenly! Anyway, the price included shipping were very low, 6-7 dollars for a bottle. The bottles are very small, since it is an oil perfume. It is not crazy strong, but it last long. And the smell is not what you expect from something called Dark Coffee, which I imagine as a straight up dark coffee, unsweetened and with no milk, as we drink it here in Norway. But no, the scent is an arabic style (and I love arabic perfumes), and is smells like a mysterious wonderful deep arabic scent. First I thought, wait a minute, there is no coffee here. But it is. Especially in the base notes. But it is a sweet coffee, like coffee candy (which I love). Or a sweet vanilla caffe latte. I read somewhere that someone ment it was quite similar to Black Opium. I have no idea if it is or not. Anyway, Dark Coffee by Al-Nuaim just fabulous, and is a unisex perfume. I have got several compliment when wearing it as well. So it does please the crowds, which i totally understand. What I don't understand is how something so magically smelling can be so cheap? Because of the low price I had no hopes, and I expected it to smell cheap. I have some other cheap perfume oils from a brand called El-Nabil, and those smell cheap as well. But the two cheap perfumes I have by Al-Nuaim (in Mumbai, India), they smell everything but cheap. So I will buy more from that brand, for sure. I have only found it sold on Ebay, so I guess there is where you have to buy it, or visit their shop in Mumbai. I do higly recommend their Dark Coffee. I have to buy some more of it, in case it disappears. I want it to be my signature scent. I do have quite many perfume oils from another brand, that disappeared, to my dispair. And that was the brand Al-Muhib from France. Their perfumes had a higher price, but still very affordable, perhaps cheap, depending on how you see it. My small bottles of the atomic strength perfume oils from Al-Muhib are just beyond words, I love them to death. When I decided to buy some more from them, the whole brand was gone. Which is not fun at all, because I don't know where to buy such type of oils. Al-Nuaim, which is a lot cheaper, is fabulous, but compared to Al-Muhib, it is not the atomic strength. Which is both good and bad, good because it is easier to not use one drop too much and smell like an atom bomb, and bad because I do also like that atomic strenght that blows you head off. Al-Nuaims perfumes (or the two I have), don't smell cheap, but they smell cheaper than the ones from former Al-Muhib, if that makes sense. On the other hand, I think they smell more expensive than most alcoholic spray perfumes from High Street perfumeries, perfumes that cost crazy much more. If I compare Al-Nuaim's Dark Coffee too Joop Homme, for example. There is no doubt which one of them who smell the cheapest, and that is the way more expensive Joop Homme. It smells dirt cheap compared to Dark Coffee and the one I'm wearing now, Oud Kalimantan (it is slighly coffee-like too, actually). If someone have a great coffee scent to recommend for me, that is arabic and not super expensive (but it doesn't have to be dirt cheap either, but somewhat affordable), I would be very glad. I like sweet, deep and mysterious perfumes. I like the arabic scents 1001 times more than I like the french/western style scents. I like sweet and rounded scents and hate the sharp and pointy aromatics. I don't like sporty scents, no. I am a man so the perfume must be either unisex or for men (most arabic are unisex anyway). I prefer oil perfumes, but it doesn't have to be an oil, I just like oils better. They have a rounder scent that last longer and smell nicer and are less sharp. But some sprays are really nice too. I like to drink my coffe straight up, no sugar, no milk, no spices, nothing. Just black coffee. Most Nowegians drink our coffee like that. And I'm one of them. I drink too much coffee, like most Norwegians do. Tea is not my thing. I like it, but it is not nearly the same as coffee, so no, I prefer coffee. And I prefer the dark roasted beans. I like strong coffee. But we don't drink our coffee as strong here as they do in Sweden. They have crazy strong coffee, actually. Too strong.
I like how coffee tastes in cake and icecream , but hate the drink 😞 This was a great list and I'm lucky to own a fair few of them myself. Some i will need to try now 🙏
Tommelise!!! Hey you...Loved the video...I wanted to suggest that you smell a scent by Meo Fusciuni called Little Song...It's my favorite Coffee scent of the moment. I've never smelled anything like it before because it features coffee strongly but it is not a gourmand which is awesome to me. I also love Follow which is a fragrance by Kerosene...That is also an abstract coffee scent...But it almost recreates the experience when u open a fresh tin full of roasted coffee bean. good stuff too...
Yes, I have a sample of Little song and it is a nice dark coffee from what i remember...Lat year I tried briefly a couple of Kerosene perfumes but it was so fast that I didn't even understand them and nothing wowed me. Would love to revisit the line, they seem to offer very interesting scents

Hi Yana. I don't drink coffee at all and I am not very fan of coffee notes in perfumery either because I found it gives a bitter smell to the skin that I don't like. However, I like a little touch of it in some fragrances such as Black Phantom, Dolce & Gabbana The only one and Black Opium.
Black phantom smells like boozy peanut butter on me and I’m obsessed. Definitely getting it this fall/winter as my signature scent for the cold weather! It’s SO good

Every person near me was asking me about my perfume Ever since i m looking for a scent close to it but no luck, and believe i have a big perfume collection. Kerosene Follow is my coffee holy grail. There is a new Mancera one that sounds good, a Montale they amped up, and the Atelier Cologne one that was a turn off. But when I want coffee in a fragrance, I want COFFEE with a few backup players to round it out. The funny part: my wife hates coffee! And I drink espresso every day :)

I want to have Lumberjack as 30 ml...and I wish he agrees to exchange the 30ml scotch peat which is there in my drawer... ididn't like it😔😔 and he doesn't seem agreeing to take scotch peat back...i emailed him already but no reply...also sent messages on Instagram...i sprayed only one spray on my hand...not ok at all for me honestly though i strongly believe he is a proffffff in making perfumes...and yoi make it more interesting when hearing you talking about him...

I want to have Lumberjack as 30 ml...and I wish he agrees to exchange the 30ml scotch peat which is there in my drawer... ididn't like it😔😔 and he doesn't seem agreeing to take scotch peat back...i emailed him already but no reply...also sent messages on Instagram...i sprayed only one spray on my hand...not ok at all for me honestly though i strongly believe he is a proffffff in making perfumes...and yoi make it more interesting when hearing you talking about him...
