Having seen all of the available episodes of this on TV I felt on listening to this that the actors did exceptional jobs of imitating the actors of the tv series in every way vocally. Only after the cast members were announced I knew why…same actors! This was never an episode in the TV series (at least 2 doz episodes of the TV series were lost or destroyed. As film was expensive it was the habit of the studios to tape over older films. They even were not as careful to preserve for posterity, any that remained. We are just lucky the whole lot didn’t go. So now I will see what others are radio plays that I might have missed.
