Classic Cars at the Sturminster Newton annual Vintage Car Show in Dorset England, with Mick Scarsbrook (Mick Amca) and his rather old dad, Bill Scarsbrook who is 96 years old
Immediately reminded of some vehicles that seemingly appeared everywhere and were still going in the 80's..Rover P6 and the absolute classic Ford Transit MK1.
I’m an American who loves old British cars. My first car was morris minor and I just sold my MGA to my dad just before moving to Fethiye a few weeks ago. Love your videos and will keep watching for sure
And the future is electric cars! Not in my world! Electric cars will NEVER replace the soul, the character and the emotions that these older (real) cars evoke. Long may they live on!
I'm 72, so many of these cars brought back memories of friends and family who used to drive them. I remember sitting in the back seat of my granddad's 1950's dark green Morris Minor. In those days South Africa had many of the UK models - perhaps because of the British Leyland factory that used to be near Cape Town. Happy 2023 to you two lovebirds!
BRILLIANT Video, I just LOVE cars old & new. We live near Glamis Castle, Scotland since returning from living in Dalyan for a few years. There is a Vintage Car Show every year. The old cars come through our Village, great standing out watching then coming through. Patricia 🏴
Hi Mick I met you in2001 in the mountain lodge tlos through mutual friends at the time (Canaan/hakan?reklamcilar?). A friend of ours in our dinky village just outside Antalya has a1960s vw which he uses for everyday life and will never give it up….. fanatics are fanatics wherever they are!

I am born in Finland and grew up there. Thus, in my youth I have seen very few of these classics. My grand mother in Denmark had a grey, lovely Morris Minor. Most of these cars I know through the guys in Wheeler Dealers, car SOS, the antiquity man Drew and many other popular TV series about restoring cars. Have a nice trip back to Turkey and regards to your youthful father.
God bless your father sir, I lost my father in 2017 and I still miss my father alot. Please make a one video about your father's interview and please ask him how he feel like at the age of 96 physically and biologically age? And please ask him what regrets he had when he was young and what he advice to youngsters not to do things at 20's, 30's and 40's. Thanks❤

My Dad had a Morris Minor after owning two Austin Minis including a Cooper in the early 60’s in UK.
I had an old Mini Cooper S in 1979 it was so fast and great at cornering

Fabulous cars I’ve actually owned some of them types in the 80s they were classified as old bangers then the ones I had 😊
