Had been Saturday June 16, 1990 and I was in the bar next door, called "Alabama", visited by G.I.s from AFB Wiesbaden or wherever they were from. I went outside when it got "nervous", something strange goin on outside, and I found Kevin holding his dying friend in his arms, Kev crying. I did not know anything about Boehse Onkelz or who they were. But I knew this moment would change my life cause I witnessed what's goin on that night. You CANNOT just wipe that off ! About ½ year later I received my first ever tattoo from Kevin and we had a good time, drinking a bottle of "Lynchberg medicine" and so somehow I got related. I'll never ever forget this day, it's still deep inside Baron, PEP cars V8 U.S. car club, Frankfurt Germany
Böhse Onkelz are one of the few bands who NEVER had a line-up change and never would have. That's why they rather broke up than get another singer, like some other band might have done in their situation. And, to protect Kevin's integrity, they didn't even disclose the true reason for the split until years later, after Kevin himself ruined what reputation he had left, when he caused a hit-and-run car accident while being drugged out of his mind, which was what landed him in prison.
I was at the last two concerts in 2005 and when the last song played I cried too. That was so awesome, 100,000 people were crying. I mean, a lot of people grew up with the Onkelz, including me. And many of the fans experienced exactly the same thing as the Onkelz and such crashes, low points, friends dying and that's really awesome. If the Onkelz hadn't existed, I'd probably be dead by now. And the way I felt, everyone felt at some point. Thank you for over 40 Years. Thank you Mister, for your honest opinion 😃🤗😎 Hope, we see more!
Greetings from Germany, Frankfurt am Main, i am am 39 Years old and Onkelz Fan since more than 25 Years, it is not just Music, its a way of life! There are so many Songs a can recommend to you. So deep, so intense. Yes there are songs like "mexiko" they just fun. But you know already songs like "the place next to me" and there so many more! "Only the best die jung" or "Germany in Fall/Deutschland im Herbst", "nice new world/schöne neue Welt", "empty words/leere Worte", "protector of shit/schutzgeist der scheiße", "Dark Placew/Dunkler Ort" and so MANY MANY more!!!, you could cry while listing. So Intense! So true! Thank you for bring this German Band into the World with open Mind!!! Yes they have a dark history, jesus who doesnt? But the difference is the Choices we made and make us to this we are.
You have to listen to the reunion concert including intro. It was epic :) Back in 2014 when that first trailer dropped it was unbelievable To refrase a line from the 2006 documentary, fitting now 2022 "At their first gig,a max. of 20 people came .... 2015 at "Böhse fürs Leben" their have been 400.000!"
Just ask the band whether they can make it possible to get to their next concert, assumed that this Corona plandemic will ever find an end. I'm sure they'll get your ass flown down here to germany 😉

We talked for a long time and he said I should listen to the music to form my own opinion, which I did, and I came to the conclusion that many things in the press were lies or misinterpreted, so I got to know the band a lot and became more and more of a fan of the Onkelz. So my friend and the Onkelz taught me to question things and not to blindly trust everything
Hey, please respond to "Veritas Maximus." This is Kevin's band, after his rehabilitation and before the Onkelz got back together. The song "Bild Tilt" is addressed to the Bild newspaper. Regarding his accident before his rehabilitation. Where he ran away and a young man lost his hand in the opposing vehicle. That was also the trigger for his prison stay and then the rehabiliation.
