I’m not sure why they don’t do it, but it’s really annoying to be listening to something and have it pause itself in silence for an unknown amount of time. It’s all good tho I’m still finna listen to the podcast either way 💀💀

Never before have I wept so hard. I've yet to watch even a single second of the episode, yet the thumbnail alone was enough to fill my heart of stone with naught but sorrow.
This podcast changed my life. My entire view of everything that exists in this world, in fact, even in the entire universe. I can never look at anything I know the same way again. This podcast represents emotions that most humans could never understand. But I can. Thanks to this, I was awakened to many things previously considered unimaginable. Thank you for this exquisite podcast, I will never forget this experience.
If you're here for their take on the Bayonetta stuff their information is woefully out of date, so they're only working off Taylor's side.
Apparently it was revealed that Platinum actually offered her $3k-4k per session for 4-5 sessions, making the total $15k-$20k. They offered her $4k total for a cameo role after turning down the offer. Also Bayonetta is a very niche franchise, not even selling more than 10mil.

4000 for the whole game. That's a whole lot more than 1 hour and it's absolutely not enough for a game that sells more than a few thousand copies, let alone Bayonetta.

I just got around to watching this and this was for some reason one of my favorite episodes. Nice contrast between the serious and funny topics. Sold on the cart racing and DB Breakers haha
David hayter was only voice actor for video games that i felt that for. Keith Sutherland voice is actually good as snake. I liked the change after playing it. It felt more mature as a title
I definitely remember RT having a good bit of dark humor that, if you were too young, would easily go over your head. One of the best examples off of the top of my head was a segment in one of there podcast where Geoff talks about how “if there are so many people boning kids then it must feel good right?” That moment in RT made me question the company a lot

I'm in love with Charlie it's official. It was a mini documentary that got me. The part in his story when he said he lost motivation to make content and he only did it because he felt obligated to his fans and he didn't want to let them down. Really some mature/strong character shit that earned all of my respect. I am jealous though that he won the genetic lottery with that head of long full hair...I was bald at 28 :(
I didnt expect to hear the "you're not that important at the company so you shouldn't be mad when they don't pay you adequately for your work, just leave" take from Kaya but here we are

This time I can see where he was coming from kinda? Like, "businesses don't have your best interests in mind and will always try to underpay you" has existed as a take for a while. Just poorly worded & timed on Kaya's part.
It's always better to be skeptical of claims of mistreatment online. A lot of the time it's missing key details. That's why Kaya's skeptical take on RT is fair. Also since the recent Bayonetta story has changed so quickly. Don't take claims like these without skepticism, it's dumb.

Sorta wish Charlie covered the Rooster Teeth debacle now that all of the intel has come out/looked more into their "edgier" content. The Kdin story arc was wild, as more evidence came forward of Kdin blurting out slurs not even as edgy humor, just... racism. If this does get talked about more, I'd love to hear Charlie's thoughts on the overall story here.

Shadow of War is one of my top 5 all time favorite games. Desolation of Mordor is also one of the best dlcs to a game ever, on par with far cry 3 blood dragon IMO. PLayed the game throught and through like 7 times (only went for the true ending twice though, as its basicly jsut a grind for a cutscene)
I hope she wins a divorce settlement and gets 100% and THEN on top of that sues for the money we destroyed out of abuse and sets this man COMPLETELY homeless. She has a case.
That isn’t how divorce court works, she could divorce then sue separately.

watching roosterteeth since 2004, they were kind of edgy, but it was appropriate for its time. Everyone just likes to conveniently forget how society represented itself only 20 years ago. A lot of their content was culled and filtered during the WB acquisition, and they made comments on it.
