Beautiful in that Gabon Ebony, I didn't know they'd done that (I just got the Hemlock JB). If you want its smaller brother you'll have to seek out a #33 Conductor, and you'll need to go back to the 2011 release for one of those in Ebony (only 73 made). Whenever I receive a new GEC knife in Ebony, I find its appearance greatly improved with a light application of mineral oil prior to waxing. Btw, that gap is present on all GECs I have with that construction, I don't know the reason for it but it's not a mistake with this particular release.
So what?? Virtually no one can get any GEC knife these days UNLESS they have a UA-cam knife channel or can order hundreds of knives in an order. Its strictly a boutique brand now Might as well be unicorn horns ...i gave up on them years ago..im sticking to brands that dont play the artificual scarcity con to keep prices high and actuLly have inventory available at affordable prices.. As for GEC..I no longer care.....enjoy being had. Regards.
Love this review. Great Job!
