This is wonderful! I love everything I've learned about Norman Reedus. His acting, his photos, his paintings, and his sculptures just amaze me. His personality, his sense of humor, his quirkiness, his shyness, and his gestures is loveable. His eyes, his voice, his heart, his passion, his outlook on life, his youthfulness, his love of family and friends, his spirit, and yes, his body is simply beautiful.
THIS is why I love Norman. Not the crossbow, not the walkers, not even the Saints. Thissssss. Now I have to remind the hubs to bring home a pregnancy test because I think I just got pregnant....

I finally got it, i finally understand what it is of him that fascinates me, it is all in the last part of the film , the way he looks and then is too much and he has to look away, now i know. He's completely open, completely vulnerable, in that moment you are looking right at him, and i don't mean his face or eyes. There is this thing with him, when he looks right at the camera, I remember to feel the same way when he do that on The Boondock Saints, i lost the count of the times i watched that scene, I didn't' know what it was, but is the fact that he isn't hidden anything. He is being completely honest on those moments, just like in this film. Almost like he's watching you, really, you and him, looking at each other eyes, and all the truths behind them, and then is too much, too much intimacy, too much power over the other, too much of one self reveal, and he has to hide away, to broke the connection, because it start to hurt. It could be all in my head of course. But it is what he makes me feel, like he's putting himself in the line, not just the character, not just the creation, but he himself. Watch the film, look at him, then watch the film again, and close your eyes and hear his voice. I almost cry.
When I see guys who are this interested in art(acting, painting, writing and film work) I actually find it really sweet. Most of the guys I know don't value or care for art even a little bit. So seeing the depth of the writers words come through, and the way the director executed this, it was just awesome. Norman also gave a deep and artistic feel to it with the way he presented himself and even the way he read the lines. Why can't I see more of this in today's society? It's beautiful!
It's when I see comments like yours that my faith in humanity is restored. I agree! We need more of this in today's society! It'd be one of the most beautiful things in the world.
every time i watch this, i get this feeling in the pit of my stomach. i know his words aren’t about this, but his words remind me of the way i see myself before i started my transition and the things i went through, etc… this helps me think through all my anger and trauma, it calms me so much. it feels like he understands, he knows the feeling and he knows he helps
The way New York is described is absolutely stunning especially the way Norman speaks about it and the background noise truly brings New York to life. Once again, I loved it and Norman was breathtaking in it :) xx

The smoke, the light on his skin and hair, the way his body moves under the shirt, the hair on his arms, his hands in the paint, it’s all so intimate and perfect for a love story. The shadows on the floor and canvas, the chaos of the flying paint, that long stride he takes with the light behind him, the breaking glass, so moody and passionate I forget to breathe every time I watch. This is brilliant and Norman Reedus is spellbinding.
