it's so intuitive and absolutely beautiful. I swear Lisa Eldridge was the ASMR of our time, such a soft character. I'd fall asleep if she ever did my makeup.
I love Lisa Eldridge, too❤. She is a New Zealand-born treasure, who I always believed was born in Britain. I was surprised when I learned about this little-known fact about Lisa. Who I consider a genius and one of the best Make-up artists of the Modern World and Generation. She is a Master of her craft. As an Aussie, I am proud to see one of the geniuses of our time born here in the Southern Hemisphere. Our Southern Hemisphere Sisters, here in Australia and New Zealand, do not have access to the makeup brands widely available to our Northern Hemisphere Sisters. I think we only now have Merit available for the first time online-this week. I have been checking for updates for years now. We don't have Haus Labs, either. Just to name a few. So it does make me happy that people like Lisa, Trinny London and Victoria Beckham ( expensive but lovely) ship to Australia and New Zealand. We do not have the Big Sephora Sale here either, which so many Beauty Content Creators are raving about at present. I find it very overwhelming. The shipping costs are insane, too. I love the look you created today. Using small layers of well buffed makeup to create a beautiful look. Your minimal placement of concealer and especially powder. Just like Lisa. That is great advice. Lisa Eldridge also uses the smallest brush and the smallest quantity of powder only where it is needed. Could you also create a makeup look using your favourite Sunscreen? I love Korean Sunscreens; they have more elegant formulas and do not burn or sting my eyes. Also, you are lucky not to have true dark under-eye circles. I have now been experimenting with colour correctors, which are amazing when concealing large areas of discolouration. I do not think we have Tower 28 available either here. I just discovered the new By Terry hyaluronic concealers, which we can buy in Australia. It is an expensive concealer. But it is a lovely product. It has nice coverage but is not drying under the eyes or on the skin. It has been so hot in Australia already. I find concealers work much better than foundations in this unbearable heat. They don't simple melt off my face. I learnt that trick from Caroline Baines, Speed Beauty, the lovely London-based makeup artist I discovered here on UA-cam. Thank you for your wonderful makeup video. I can not wait to try out your suggestions for your gorgeous look. ❤
The cicaplast cream works wonders! My mom had a nasty fall with open wounds on her face and I gave her this, she massaged it on her face and 3 weeks later there was not a single mark left! Love it!
Absolutely gorgeous, such a natural fresh look. I love that you just enhanced your beautiful features with the make up instead of covering with tons of products. I'm definitely a less is more approach especially now I'm in my 40s. I've always loved Lisa Eldridge's way of applying make up. I'm definitely going to try the KJH tip with the lips. Have an amazing day xxxx
Totally agree that if you use colour corrector you need less product. I have hereditary dark circles and a peach one lets me use so much less concealer!
I love watching makeup artist tips. I've been doing the eye liner/shadow tips for a while now, and it does make a big difference for sure. I need to start buffing everything into my brushes 1st instead of going straight in. That tip makes such a big difference.. along with the underpainting method. I've heard and seen the powdering of the lips prior to contour/lip liner and color, but haven't tried it yet. On my list of makeup tips!! I really love how you used different tips from different artists, too. Awesome video, Allana 👍🫶. TY ❤
Amazing video! I think this will up my makeup game in the best possible way. Some I was already doing without knowing, others I think will make my life way easier :p 10/10 would love another one like this!
Use a long time correctors is essential for my make- up, bisque at first than sisley2 and the tarte. Thin layers i do too. I learned that artists only contour lips in the midle so it looks more natural not so puffy and all overlined and the lipline should not visible seen. The skin looks perfected and very nice! 💙
I used the tricks in here and it changed my makeup game! I makeup looks flawless and natural. Also your reph brush recommendations 💯 they now ship out of Toronto so it's more affordable for us Canadians. I would love more videos like this. I can't figure out how to tag you Allana Davison but if I could I would ❤
Such a “ natural “ and light look! This is perfect for everyday, and it was fairly quick to do as well! When you attended the Bobbi Brown class, did the MUA use/ talk about their Weightless Skin Foundation? I would love to hear your thoughts on it. From what I’ve seen it looks like a foundation that you might like for more glam looks. 💕
Perfection!! Love love these reminders and tips. I have that Bobbi B color corrector and the artist at counter said the same thing.. use very very little of it only on the color you are trying to correct. I am so guilty of using concealer as a color by number method. I think bc it is what is easier or how we see most people applying it… like really why would we ever swipe the doefoot directly 😂. Our face is a canvas that changes so how we apply makeup should also ‘change’ to meet it or the mood of course. I try to slow down sometimes and just look at my face instead of sitting down to just apply makeup. Thanks so much for posting ~ please do a round 3 soon ❤❤
I've been using light bisque form BB back when it can in a pod where you lifted the bottom to their famous banana powder ... still have those pods to use them to refill them on the go. Now I use the stick form and use Tower 28 perfection !!!
Beautiful!! I've also heard that if you leave your foundation and concealer on for a bit before adding powder, etc. it helps to make it a smoother application. But who has the time >_
Could you do an updated version of the best powder and cream bronzer ?? 🙏✨ currently debating between the new Dior stick - Mario cream bronzer and YSL (that packaging … ! )
I got hooded eyes so ever since I learned to do shadow above the crease it looks so much better . I struggle with eye shadow and liner tho! Liner is scary and never looks good
hi girl!! ik you were a fan of the og nyx nude beige - before it went to shit. anyway, i think you would love Kokie's retractable lipliner in the shade Nude :)
Ok ok ok gurl still need to arrange our schedules, my head was already in the pillow but now I’m craving some “cindor” (an Argentinian cold chocolate milk) so I’ll do that while watching you.
Lancome just came out with a brown version of the lash idole lengthening & volumizing mascara ❤always love seeing your upload notifications 😊#youralaskanneighbor
I love the Cicaplast cream so much, but I cannot use it under makeup. It breaks everything up so bad after a few minutes 😫 Even when I let it sit for a while. Had to take off my makeup on Sunday last minute and rush out the door with nothing on, as it looked horrible 😢
it's so intuitive and absolutely beautiful. I swear Lisa Eldridge was the ASMR of our time, such a soft character. I'd fall asleep if she ever did my makeup.
Edit: she still is I think I was implying that Ive watched her allot from a young age !
Oh she absolutely is. She's so delicate in the way she applys and I always love when her rings clink together as she's putting the make up on!

Remembered that you used to soak in Weleda moisturizer ❤
It’s so beautiful
I remember one time , in high school, I ran out of lip liner, and I used an eye shadow by MAC IT WORKED GREAT

Is it possible to upgrade the video/camera quality to 2160p? It’s difficult to see how product looks on skin with 1080p
