Seeing this makes me remember why you should never skip story cutscenes in Type-0.
I like this game a lot! I played the English Patched PSP version so it's cool to see the game in HD with its official localisation, and being played so well/discussed too.
I seem to recall the final stage being 10 levels higher on PSP (whilst still being based on your character levels); it really was brutal and I'm glad they toned it down for the HD rerelease.
The RTS stuff was kinda annoying so I'm glad you get to skip them.
Shoutouts to Major Odillon. The one guy none of us from the FF Relay will never remember. Great run, Sent =D. Sorry I couldn't catch it live!
I did not know this game existed. Nice seeing Sent play a game for a change! I hope there is never another prize man.
I had no freaking clue what the hell was going on in the game but the runner and his couch was fun.

Watching this speed run made me realize I really played the game wrong because wow, they way you demolish every enemy is crazy!

What a big coincidence, I judt got this game a few days ago on my local game shop.
Lmfao I tried playing this game when I was younger and it was sooooooo confusing at first. They really drop kick you into the thick of it out the gate.
the story feels bad , you don't get anything that is going on , but by the end when shit suddenly goes down and the characters start thinking what to de you realize they where following orders blindly , even worse , they are kids , the ending is like kids becoming adults.
Heber Chaile I’m 10 minutes into the run and this some how makes less sense the the story of this run already 😂
If you want to know the story play or watch a play through lol it's a good story

Old comment but I completely agree. I originally bought the game for the XV demo but thought so many times, "Hey, it's still Final Fantasy. I need to give it a fair shake." But something about the game's presentation and controls just don't jive with me.
@@12ealDealOfficial I think it's the camera and how Phantoma harvesting works. Some people have trouble adapting to them. But once you understand the issues disappear.
For harvesting, you need to remember that right after killing you can quick harvest but if you disengage and then re-target it takes longer. But most importantly, make use of the targeting shortcut that specifically aims at dead bodies. Once you wire the different lock on shortcuts in your brain the entire game makes perfect sense. In the Phantoma harvesting case you will then understand why you can wait and blow up dead enemies to damage others.
For the camera, the right way to play is to constantly tap/hold the lock on without trying to control the camera in other ways and to always switch targets very fast after killing (or harvesting quickly, though you will be vulnerable to projectiles this way). To avoid targeting dead bodies or undesirable enemies, always remember to use the lock on shortcut to specifically target the nearest enemy. Wire this command inside your brain. Also, avoid being near walls.

the only way to play ff13 is speedrunning. getting it over as quick as possible
