My taste in music has evolved a lot since i first got into rock music, i went from Punk Rock as a child, to Metalcore and Power Metal now (i´m 29), but when i first listened to BB in the soundtrack of Halo 2, i really like that song, then i listen to The Diary Of Jane and i totally fell in love with that sound, and they´ve been my favorite band since then. I was so happy when my favorite band returned with Dark Before Dawn that i have a son named Benjamin xD. So happy they keep making music and people are giving the love they deserve. Great reaction man, i sub :)
Me Even before that song. i discovered them in their second album phobia with the soundtrack of NASCAR 07 for Xbox , the diary of Jane that was included in that Game and here i am now (with 27) loyal fan to the end
So first off, thanks for the sub! And then, we pretty much have the exact same story when it comes to the evolving taste. I'm also 29 and our generation definitely got some of the best musical queues from video game soundtracks. Halo 2, The Tony Hawk games, Burnout. Some really nice heavy tracks for us to sink our teeth into.
First video of you I see, and everything you mentioned about BB, you liking the melodic cleans over harsh vocals and overtime liking harsh more and more is exactly how i developed my tastes with BB being my intro. Loved it. You earned a sub
So firstly, much appreciated for the sub! And then, I definitely think there's a lot to say for learning to love harsh vocals.
