- Фільми й анімація
Mace Windu: "What up, my brother?"
Yoda: "Shit just got real."
Yoda: "Real, shit has gotten"
It is...
@@Order-Sol unnnn
Yoda: Young Skywalker is in pain
Mace: Motherfucka!!!
Haha
I didn't find out until recently that what Yoda was listening to here was Qui Gon trying to call out to Anakin, post death, to stop the slaughter.
And now he will look for him, and he WILL find him... and he will kill him.
How do you know?
AlphA I read somewhere that George Lucas confirmed it.
Ah, nice touch
During the clone wars series before Disney ended it. Yoda goes to Diagobah ( without s doubt spelled that wrong) and talks to Qui Gons spirit
"Something terrible has happened. Young Skywalker is in pain, terrible pain. Now let us never speak of this again or ask him what happened."
Lol I said the same thing but then the clone war started and well.... they have bigger issues to deal with over him killing some village. Plus he's the chosen one...he gets a free a pass like a star QB of a hs football team cursing at a teacher
No, Anakin actually does talk to Yoda about a lot of it. Yoda knows all about the sand people massacre lol.
@@israelite2204 Really? Source?
Jedi Council spoke about it, and yes, they know what he did. And so they decided to give Anakin a padawan, someone who will be under Anakin's wing and eventually will become stronger, and when Anakin will see that, he'll be able to let her go. That was treir plan. But they screwed up, destroying her trust in themselves, and thus, they only increased Anakin's frustration of them
@@mygeeto So no one is going to give me a source for when they found out?
Anakin said no words and the scene was still that powerful.
Actions speak louder than words.
he's not allowed to because george lucas had a big hand in writing the script and did a terrible job.
Harrison Callahan he wasn't going to disagree with George Lucas very much because Star Wars was his big break for him he said, an opportunity he couldn't turn dowm
Let's be honest it's probably BECAUSE he didn't say anything
@@rotyler2177 Even the music
"Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering."
+JackassJunior627 can't anger also lead to fear? and suffering lead to hate? and hate to anger? See how easy it is to take some vague emotional states and arrange them into a pattern so it seems deep? Garbage
+JackassJunior627
_Train yourself to let go of everything you fear to lose._
he feared that his mother died and she did he became enraged that the sand people did this to him he hated them for killing his mother and the sandpeople suffered his anger and hate
+JackassJunior627 Hate can be satisfied. It doesn't need to become suffering.
Fear actually leads to safety
"Anakin, Anakin, NOOOOO!" I almost cried hearing Qui-Gon's voice. Imagine him thinking that the innocent boy he once believed to was now an assasin...
That “nooooo!” Doesn’t sound like qui gon though. But it doesn’t sound like anyone else in Star Wars lmao
That nooo is in Part 3, when Palpatine said to anakin that padme is dead.
The “Nooo” came from Anakin it just sounded weird the way he said it
@@kai9755 They probably just used sound clips from Neeson from PM and the "NOOO" was a sound-a-like. Or at least trying to sound a like.
That NOOOOO sound like it came from the Sandpeople through their language being translated
This music. Holy shit. When the anger starts to control Anakin, and he leans closer to the dark side.
0:20 Hnnnng..
Lmao I just watched your video where you talked about your love of soundtracks
That menacing music was the perfect choice for depicting losing control. That broke Anakin completely
Whats dark about this is being there with his mother. Reminded him of being a child. And his childhood idea of a jedi and what it was. And fuelled him with hate and a sense lf justice. Like this is it. This is my chance to come here to tattoine and save my mom. And do good. And be a hero. But his mother had died. And it filled him with hate from all the pain. This is why hes falling to the dark side. Because he wants to help people. And the dark side seems tl be the only way to do it
Oh hey will
1:10 Darth Vader theme
The Darth Vader breathe at 0:44 gave me chills.... And when Qui-Gon yells "noo", such a powerful moment..
😌
+Stormtrooper The dark side is strong.
It's tusken raiders screaming at 0.44, and Anakin yelling "No!" The only thing Qui-Gon says is "Anakin!"
+Evan Olinger Ah, okay... But there is Vader's breathing at 0:44 ?
+Stormtrooper I'm not exactly sure what that is, but it doesn't really sound like Vader to me. Who knows..
i love this scene and that they added qui gon's voice
LifeOfTheParty never knew that was qui gons voice, deep.
It's Qui-Gon's force ghost
+Jetsurge It makes sense now...
+LifeOfTheParty It sounds like someone else instead of Qui gone is saying "NOOOO!"
But Qui Gon is definitely saying "Anakin...Anakin...."
Thought that it was Obi-WANs voice
So everyone is just gonna ignore how mace casually walks in and sits on that sofa lmao
Jiron127 lol ikr
Jiron127 "Pull up a chair, bro."
He walked in there like he owned the place and Yoda was his guest lmfao
Take a seat, young Master.
Whatever your thoughts on Haydens portrayal of Anakin are, one thing is certain. The way he expresses his emotions with his face are really spot on. In this scene you see him going through the phases, at first you see the terror in his eyes as his mum passes away, then as he looks down you can see the anger, finally he looks up and there is nothing but hatred. Later, we see the suffering of the tuskin raiders.
Fear is path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering. - Yoda.
Yes,even if the movie has a lower rating,it shows that some terrible movies have Scenes like this.
I'm glad i watched it as a child.
I've always thought that. His faces are perfect, it's his dialogue delivery that needs some work.
Anton Nzl
Anton Nzl Well they are responsible for his mothers death therefore it will be ok for him to take revenge.Revenge is natural as well as having hatred in you.
Anton Nzl how could you walk away from that without killing any of them, I would have done the same thing as Anakin making the basterds extinct
I really wish they would've showed him killing the tusken raiders. It would've added a lot more power to the scene.
***** That's true.
+5carecrow94 It was because of the limited PG rating.
Demon Rantz I know the reason, I'm saying it would've been better to not hold back.
***** I was really pumped seeing Anakin's pissed off face but it felt so unsatisfying.
Demon Rantz Exactly! It was like "Oh yeah, shit's going down! Aaaand cut."
And people think the prequels suck, and they forget about scenes like this.
You know what deleted scene I wish existed? A shot of Palpatine smiling somewhere.
***** Absolutely, I wish Lucas had just tried a little harder.
***** yeah don't act like there were some corny scenes in the Original Trilogy.
Dead Purple Yeah but the scene is still boring on it's own. where's the rage being unleashed and just slicing through sand people unrestrained, relishing in the death of these people that killed his mother. slice one guy then cut to yoda looking constipated.
sumbuddyx did you really need to see a whole scene of him offing the sand people? The cut away was fine
황원 You're the worst kind of Star Wars fan because instead of allowing these prequel dudes to have a different opinion, you have to attack them instead. Get the fuck out of my fandom you piece of shit.
I'm not a vengeful person but I'm not even gonna lie I would have probably done the same thing if they would have killed my mother.
A powerful Sith you will become :)
I wonder how the Tusken raiders knew Anakin's name? Not that it made a difference. Also I kind of agree with you, I would certainly feel that way, but it's still not the right thing to do.
It wasn't the Tuskin Raiders. It was QuiGon who was shouting "Anakin".
MAnuscript421 Really? I guess that makes sense.
It was Liam Neeson's voice and Liam Neeson portrayed QuiGon in Episode 1.
Why does no one mention the fact that Yoda was driven to near tears because of Anakin’s anger and pain it is so underrated because it shows how powerful both Anakin and Yoda are
It shows that Yoda really did care about Anakin. He wanted him to become the best Jedi he could ever be - he trained all Jedi younglings after all, and developed emotional connections with all Jedi to a degree as most of them he trained at some point.
So to sense so much pain in Anakin is sad and shocking to him. He understands that whatever happened was traumatic event for Anakin. And so starts Anakin's "special" status, where they cave in to some of his wants (He becomes a Jedi Knight) in order to keep him somewhat happy, while still trying to get it through to him that he is not alright and that he has a long way to become a Jedi Master.
@@MalevolentSpirit234 not really a want when anakin was basically like Lebron James on the battlefield during the clone wars, already had a padawan under him while still not being a Jedi master and them disregarding him constantly
@@smooothzy He wanted at THAT moment in AotC, and Yoda assigned Ahsoka to Anakin so that he can learn the patience needed for him to be allowed to become a Jedi Master.
Prequels have wooden emotionless acting they said...

Hayden's acting in this scene is bloody good. Stupid prequel haters!
+Mindo Padme Kaur agreed
You know Hayden has been nominated many times
No there are 1 or 2 good scenes and are 1000 bad ones. Oh come on after this scene watch I killed them all. Darth Vegan was it?
The soundtrack encapsulates his inner turmoil perfectly, and Hayden's acting is great here too (I honestly don't think he deserves all the hate he gets, there isn't an actor alive who could have done justice to the abysmal script he had to work with). Its so frustrating when you think about how great a scene this could easily have been. Intersplice footage of Anakin's massacre with Yoda flinching whilst meditating, then finish with a shot of Anakin carrying Shmi's body away from the flaming remains of the camp. This should have been the most emotionally hard-hitting bit in the entire prequel trilogy. Its good as it is, but with just a little more effort it could have been magnificent.
I concur with you sir
+Mr Grumpyface What was wrong with the script? I liked the scene as it is. I am smart enough to know that Yoda was flinching while meditating even before he was shown. Having a shot of Anakin carrying Shmi's body away from the flaming remains of the camp would have given the impression that what he had done there was right and it clearly was not. This scene is not emotional enough for you because you are not feeling what the characters are feeling. It was plenty emotional enough for me. The script was not in any way abysmal.
***** I meant the script as a whole, IE "I don't like sand" etc
What was wrong with the "I don't like sand " line? Luke was from the same place and said many times he wanted to leave there. Anakin remarking that he doesn't like sand and why shows he is like his son. Maybe your reason for not liking the script is that you do not understand the meaning behind what is said. I do so the script is fine with me.
***** Don't be rude, its a very easy script to understand, its just awful. All the 'romantic' dialogue between Anakin and Padme was either creepy or cringey. I refuse to believe this is the first time you've heard someone point this out, its one of people's biggest problems with the entire prequel trilogy.
I don't know why everyone hated the prequels and Hayden Christensen. He played Anakin very well.. I just recently watched all of them again.. they are really amazing.. I loved the prequels, the original, and the new movies.. I also loved The Clone Wars. Really amazing.
4fps 1 I'm wrong for having an opinion? nice. you hate them, I like them. can't really change my outlook
4fps 1 Saying his opinion is wrong is your own opinion. In my opinion the prequels were good, though you're right some of the dialogue and acting was abysmal. 😬
look, i'm not going to say that the prequels don't have a lot to offer, but NO ONE can say that the prequels don't have a LOT of glaring problems, i think peoples "like" of the film stems mostly from 90% of the people watched it as children, and as children, we glossed over the problems cuz lucas plastered the screen with a bunch of flashy lights and explosions that would make Michael Bay jealous
now, now, now, lets be fare, Ewan McGregor was phenomenal as Obi-wan, honestly, that guy should get an award for "soul actor who carried an ENTIRE trilogy on his back"
but let me ask this, why was jar jar, who, throughout the ENTIRE first movie, was portrayed as a loud, clumsy (to the point he was banished from his own city) coward, given the rank of general of the Gungan army....under WHAT qualifications,or circumstances did he show any military leadership skills/training/knowledge?...i'll tell you, he didn't, he doesn't, and he never did, his role was so force, so crowbarred into the film, they basically said, FUCK it, no one will care anyway....that is LAZY writing, and Star wars deserves better
The "birth cry" of Darth Vader and Annakin's path towards the dark side begins.
+SHADOWWOLF77
I believe that the darkside path started before that with his living with his mother until 9 years old as a slave.
+Raymond Nolan Scott no it didn't. How can someone before they're born have darkness in them. Darth maul as a child was pretty innocent until sidious fucked his mind and made it into hell
0:26 that look in his eyes. Darth Vader was born.
ScipioLorenzo You can really see the rage that engulfs him. I can relate to it as well as someone ridiculed me, family and friends. I wanted to show him fear to know that I was not to be messed with and it worked.
Another example that Hayden can act. Without all that crappy dialogue and he's aloud to act with his facial expressions I see the origins of darth vader
I think Hayden plays a very good dark character in its physical form. If he had some kind of character like Maul, who had very few lines, people wouldn't bash him for his "bad acting". If he can find roles where he speaks very little, then I don't see why he can't win more awards.
The Boy Of Fandom You are absolutely right!
I just realized that you can even hear Darth Vader's breathing after Qui Gon says "NOO!"
Qui Gons "nooooooo" always gets me
I thought who that's who it was. Kinda creepy o_o Was it his spirit trying to stop Anakin or something?
Joshua Garcia yea im pritty sure u even hear him say ''Anakin stop''
Joshua Garcia Yoda could hear the sand people screaming as Anakin murdered them. The Force apparently lets him hear things in a language he understands.
+Matt Gerrish (Gamerdude56) No it was Qui Gon, he achieved as Yoda, Anakin and Obi wan later do, immortality at this point. He also teaches Yoda and Obi Wan about it (while beeing a force ghost) you are told about it in episode 3 at the end of the movie, where Yoda talks about an "old friend" contacting him though the force and achieving "immortality" as ghost, to which Obi Wan responds with an shocked and happy loud "QUI GON?!!!". In the book it is explained to Qui Gon tried to speak to Anakin using the force to prevent him from sensless killing the Sand Raiders, but Anakin was too caught up in anger to notice, not so medidating Yoda who heard both in trance
Christopher Lehmann Oh cool
I loved this scene. Finally a character that is just so...human. Not one who says "two wrongs don't make a right", but one who does what most probably would've done in that situation.
And yet, it goes no further than that. You'd think that Yoda would pull Anakin aside and say something like, "Shitty trip had you to Tatooine?" The "wise" Jedi are fucking clueless. Anakin and Padme are shacking up, having a kid and yet even Obi Wan has to ask Padme if the kid belongs to Anakin.
You wouldn't even have to be a Jedi to notice something was up with those two. Even with the dark side "clouding everything". With all the mediation they do you'd think someone would have put two and two together. Maybe using the Force is like drinking beer, too much of it kills your brain cells.
Wade Alexander I think in this case, the brain cells were due to Lucas' lack of oxygen due to his head being too far up his ass. By the point this was being made, Lucas had gotten cocky and was believing the press surrounding his "genius." The storytelling got sloppier as the prequels progressed; he was more concerned with spectacle than writing or acting. There are so many things that seem rushed or don't make sense.
sickphil71 Ha! Yeah there are certainly some moments in the prequels that are really messed up. I'd still love to know how Obi-Wan failed Anakin. What was he supposed to do, kiss his ass every day or what? I also found the whole "no emotional attachments" thing to be quite cold-hearted. That seemed more of a Sith idea than a Jedi one.
Wade Alexander You are absolutely right. The whole "Jedi discipline" thing was always half-assed. In the first prequel, Qui-Gon says something like how tough and comfortless the Jedi life is, like they're monks or ascetics or something, yet they seem to live in swank apartments and enjoy everyday pleasures, like in Attack of the Clones, Obi Wan gets a drink at the bar and tells Anakin to check the crowd. Or, in the first movie, when they take Anakin a way to train him and they make it pretty clear that he is to never see his mother again. Why? I can understand going away for training, but why can't he visit her? And, if he's so attached to her, why does he only have his "Jedi-vision" of her once? Can't he even give her a phone call to check up on her? If he has time to stalk Padme, surely he has time to check on Mom. There was a lot lacking in terms of execution with these films.
sickphil71 I can just imagine handing over your child to the Jedi and knowing you'll probably never see them again and what that must feel like. You're kind of dooming them to a sad existence. I always found it odd that the Jedi would be so against something that is based on love which is supposedly a good thing. If they're so against emotional attachments then they shouldn't care one iota if a fellow Jedi dies when you think about it.
I remember watching this scene in theaters and being really sad when Shmi died but the moment Anakin looked up with the look of rage, anger and blind hatred in his eyes, I was like "This is bad. This is really bad" and actually got scared.
+janeyrevanescence12 Me, too. I was scared of him. And when he got back and told Padme what he did, I was was scared of him as he was talking to her. I knew he was well on his way to the dark side.
Vader was officially born inside of him at this moment
Brilliant scene. really shows Anakin starting to slip. The prequels were brilliant
1:12. Important scene in the entire trilogy. The Darth Vader theme is played for the first time (not in release order). And this is the first scene where Anakin shows his anger. I think that point is where Darth Vader, shows himself clearly inside Anakin. That point is a foreshadowing on what Anakin will become.
I love how in the EU of Star Wars, the camp where the massacre happened becomes a sight feared by all Tuskens, who seek to appease the vengeful "ghost" that haunts it...
That's awesome! This is a very important moment in Anakins fall.
It's kind of creepy to know that Qui Gon was the one yelling for Anakin to stop idk why...
Enforged there is a whole video on that. Basically, Qui did the same thing and it led him to misery and now he is trying to stop Anakin doing it
Nadia Łochowska that's not canon anymore.
Darth Vader Who fucking cares
@@AustinNGrayson Yeah. Disney lost the rights to determine what is and isn't canon anymore after they completely fucked Star Wars with their garbage movies and content.
This is what everyone whould have done. lol
+Firmus Piett I agree. Anyone would have reacted the same way to those who had kidnapped and tortured his mother and she had died in his arms.
+LBF522 Not if they were a Jedi. Both Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi have restrained themselves from doing this in very similar situations.
+KatakiDoragon Yeah but Anakin was brought into the Jedi order much later than most other kids, he had a massive attachment to his Mother, most Jedi were sent to the order at a much younger age. Most didnt even know there mothers.
James Sykes And this is why that was done.
With that said, Kenobi and Qui-Gon DID build up considerable attachments. Both Kenobi and Qui-Gon (at least in the Expanded Universe) DID have a romantic involvement with another Jedi (For Qui-Gon it was Tahl, and for Kenobi it was Siri Tachi). Qui-Gon DID nearly fall to the dark side after Tahl was brutally tortured to death, but he did at the last moment manage to restrain himself from taking vengeance on her killer.
For Kenobi it was much the same thing. When Siri died, Kenobi nearly killed her murderer on the spot, but held back at the last moment, remembering that he was a Jedi and above killing out of vengeance.
With response to the OP, his assessment is: "This is what everyone would have done". I don't think that's accurate at all to the Star Wars universe, because we have an entire Order of people who would have done differently than what Anakin did. Anakin is literally the ONLY Jedi in the Order that would have done this. It is his failing as a Jedi.
Yeah your right, but both qui gon and obi wan were brought into the order at a much younger age. They both had much more training to supress there emotions than anakin did as a 9/10 year old boy who remembered and loved his mother. He also had an awful upbringing being a slave wish was always fresh in his mind
Don't blame him,I would've done the same thing...
+Dark Knight but you're Batman! Batman doesn't kill! :O
+Dark Knight So, You're Thomas Wayne Batman. Awesome!!!!
They are breeders and future threats; they must preemptively eradicated since killing and tormenting the victims are the vital elements of their bloodthirsty culture.
not a jedi, they have to detach from everything and let go of anger, or the turn sith. having such a powerful ability like the force and properly managing it is like walking a tight rope.
+Tassapa Umavijani that's like saying killing and torturing was a central part to commanche culture, so they should all die.
anyone would have done the same for their mother
+Darth Vader Yeah but I wouldn't have killed children.
+Darth Vader Yes, I would have
***** Well now that escalated quickly I don't think children are in support of ISIS on their own accord ....
i feel you bruh
+Darth Vader I can confirm it
00:23
That's the moment. That's when something inside him breaks, and he will never be okay again. It reminds me of that seen in Watchman.
"It was Kovacs who closed his eyes. It was Rorschach who opened them again."
I don't blame anakin, I would have done the same thing.
A powerful Sith, you will become!

A bit overkill though

Luke's reaction to seeing Aunt Beru and Uncle Owen's corpses: 😧😕
Anakin's reaction to seeing his mom die: 😢😧😡👿
Amd people bitch about the acting of Hayden when Mark Hamil was guilty of mediocre acting in that scene
+Rhymfre To be fair, Hamil, arguably, improved. The prequels were also working with an enormous budget, whereas the a New Hope had next to no funding, plus they were made decades apart, so everything about it should be held to a higher standard.
Everyone reacts to pain differently. Plus there wasn't any stormtroopers walking around when Luke was on Tatooine. From a certain point of view
+Obi-Wan Kenobi Omg, you just made my day. From a certain point of view.
Obi-Wan Kenobi You wanna buy some deathsticks?
The music leading up to Anakin going psycho reminds me of Psycho.
i love how we can hear qui-gon echoing through the force. as if even though he's dead, he's still watching over anakin. the subtlies in these films are spectacular.
This was when Anakin truly fell to the dark side.
I say it all the time. This is when Anakin Skywalker became Darth Vader. The suit didn't cause that transformation.
Ira ProV no..he was filled with hate, he just hid it
***** This was his start to the dark side. Taking Dooku's head while unarmed didn't help either, the whole Jedi Temple/Youngling incident also did not gain him any light side points, attacking Padme is what really did it and then Palpatine telling him he killed her and the NO incident after pretty much was the final nail. Nothing else to live for so committed as fully as he could, since he never fully went to the dark either.
limitlessaeon You can't really hold the Sand People incident against him. If I was Anakin and I saw my mother, beaten, abused, physically, mentally and likely sexually, I would give in to great anger and do the same thing, Jedi Code be damned. If I got expelled from the order for it. I'd thank them for it and run off with Padme free to do with my life as I will.
+chrismc410 Exactly. The Jedi Order demands that their members do what is humanly impossible. Other species, maybe, but not humans.
I love Lucas' spiritual themes! Qui-Gon screaming out to Anakin through The Force is incredibly powerful to hear.
I remember seeing this in theatres as a child and this scene with the music stood out most for everyone!
Most emotion from the prequels by far.
Senator Palpatine originally wanted to control the Republic by having Queen Amidala sign the Treaty between Naboo and the Federation. However, Queen Amidala refused to sign anything with the Federation for she feared that it would lead to war. That is why they fled to Naboo for help of the Gungan Army. When Senator Palpatine was announced as the Chancellor of the Senate, the war was over, and the Federation had been destroyed in the War. Before the fall of the Federation, Senator Palpatine learned of Anakin Skywalker and his ability to bring balance to the force. He needed him to be his apprentice and to control the Galaxy with him as his master, but Anakin was much too young to be trained as a Sith Lord.
The Chancellor then paid for the death of Anakin's mother while he was training Count Dookoo. Only two Sith may exist; a master and an apprentice. His plan was to take Anakin as his Apprentice after Count Dookoo's death.
When Anakin was interviewed by the Jedi Council, he had too much fear of his mother. Qua-Gon said that he would train him without the approval of the council. The Jedi Council was correct about Anakin's fate.
The fear turned him into anger machine that killed the men, women, and children of anyone responsible for his mother's death.
The anger that enraged him, was also led by the fear of Padmè's death during childbirth of Luke and Princess Leia. Fear of her death sent Anakin into a rage that reminded him of the loss of his mother. Mace Windu and three other Jedi Knights were sent to arrest the Chancellor now revealed to be Darth Sidious. When Mace Windu had Darth Sidious' life in his hands, Anakin fell into fear and anger of losing Padmè if he were to have lose the Dark Lord. He agreed to become Darth Vader if Padmè's life was to be saved. However, when Anakin told Padmè what he was becoming, she could not bare to be with him. "You're going down a path I can't follow, Ani. You're breaking my heart." At which point Obi Wan emerged from the spacecraft and Anakin believed she had a plot with Obi Wan to kill him. Anakin choked her using the force, and Obi Wan and Ankain dueled until Anakin forced Obi Wan to injure him to near death. At which point, Obi Wan left with Padmè and Darth Sidious saved Anakin giving him the suit we all know and love, thus turning him into Darth Vader. While in labor, Padmè asks about Anakin. Obi Wan doesn't respond, but she knows the fate he has chosen. She lost the will to live as she couldn't bare living with the thought of Anakin on the Dark Side, and passed away. At her funeral, she was conveyed at being pregnant to save the twins from the hands of the Sith Lords. Had Luke and Leia been killed in childbirth, the Sith would've risen over the Jedi and the Galactic Republic would've seized to exist.
This fuckin comment is like reading a damn book.
Sure...you know we can just read all that on wookiepedia, you didn't have to type all that in a comment
It's CEASED (to stop) to exist. Not seized (to take)
so at 0:41 that was Qui Gon trying to warn Anakin
Imagine getting so pissed off that monks take notice from the other side of the galaxy and your old teacher comes back from the dead to try and calm you down
The scoring makes the scene.
better dialogue woulda been, "i'll not leave you here I've got to save you, I promised I would" "you already have ani, you already have" "I love.." mirroring his last words to his future son.
It wouldn't make since because how did he save her if she's dead?
+matthew trikha she got to see her son again for the last time
I like how it shows Anakin is too angry to cry. Definitely great foreshadowing right there.
anakin was played perfectly. I love the touch of qui-gon yelling through the force to try and reach anakin to make him stop to the point that yoda can hear him.
I bet anyone would lose their shit if this happened to someone they love dearly.
The music transition at 0:20 Adds a Really evil and raging attitude and makes anakin's rage more intense. jeez
How did people miss darth vader's sound 0:45. Adds so much
Never noticed actually
I guess now he is...
Little Orphan Annie.
You know shit’s heavy when Yoda has tears in his eyes.
This scene is sad and all, but I love how Mace casually sits.
0:37 If you go frame by frame, you can see that Anakin’s saber cut right into the left side of the raider’s neck through the raider’s right shoulder, completely disconnecting that part of his body from the torso.
???
Thats the point of the "Lightsaber"
@@Dan1el7493 Just pointing out how subtly brutal this was.
Yeah the lightsabers looks all cool and all waving around but I often forget and I know other people do as well, that the lightsabers are actually one of the most dangerous weapons in the galaxy
Thats badass
0:25 The way how his chin is trembling just shows how good of an actor he is. When someone is in so much sorrow your chin trembles as if you're holding yourself back from crying. This scene is so bone chilling!!
0:40 You can hear Qui Gon's spirit seeming to try to stop Anakin while he was in rage killing the Tuskin Raiders and refusing "NOOO" then giving an exhales or Vader's breath
Just Today i was informed that at 0:40 there is Qui Gon-Jinn's voice ... interesting
And i like very much Yoda and Windu , great Jedi
yeah dude it's epic i remember reading about that...like he and yoda were watching that happen and qui gonn was so worried that he yelled anakin's name but of course anakin can't hear him and the guy saying "NOOO!!" was a tusken raider saying that out of mercy
that's why STAR WARS is nice & interesting :D
Everyone is saying it's either Qui-Gon or Anakin yelling "Noooo!!!" at 0:43. I think it actually sounds like Palpatine in his Sidious voice. It could be Palpatine yelling "Noooo!!!" about Qui-Gon's ghost helping Anakin.
It’s a sand person pleading for its life actually
@@AncientCityMusicI doubt it they don’t speak English
0:43 THIS HAS TO BE GEORGE LUCAS. They must have realized they had no clips of Liam Neeson saying "no" and George probably just wasn't satisfied with anybody else's takes so he said eh I'll do it. I thought maybe it was Yoda aka Frank Oz but I played this scene ten times over on Disney+ earlier and every single time my brain hears George Lucas
0:38 Qui gon ghost voice :(
that music when he closed her eyes
Music is everything
this wasn't when ani turned into vader. this was just killing animals who were like cavemen and tortured people for sport. ani turning into vader was when he butchered the jedi younglings.
Whatever like if animals are not people. You know they torture people in concentrations camps i N Korea and they torture suspected Terrors in America. Those are also people.
*****
How so?
Lizard-Motion Films Terrorists are basically human vermin.
Lizard-Motion Films its a labor camp for criminals first off and only one of the suspected "concentration camps" is actually a labor camp
burnout02urza what is a terrorist? what is your definition.
thank you for upload!
0:26 his lip quivering in rage was such a good edition to this scene
Sand people: "awww Yea lets get him boyz"
(anakin chops off the head of the first tusken raider)
Sand people: "well were boned"
Anakin is a Slaughter God. He killed the tusken raiders, the younglings, the separatists, the remaining jedi, and those rebels in Rogue One. This man is the GOAT.
Darth Vader God of War
0:23 there....that's when Vader was born.....
1:12 Dipping that Vader theme reprise in there was smooth
Yes.Let your anger deepen your hatred! You did well anakin.
Emperor Palpatine grr
I can imagine Samuel Jackso walking in there going "Motherfucker who the hell am I supposed to talk to?! Shit's all green here and I don't mean Yoda either, I mean everything except this chair thing"
Awesome Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones Video.
As soon as those ominous violins kick in at 0:20, it sends shivers down my spine. One of the only great scenes in this movie.
Anakin is basically what would happen if Peter Parker became a ruthless hunter after Uncle Ben died
I think this video should've been titled as "Anakin's Vengeance".
0:41 Qui-Gon: Anakin... Anakin...
NOOOOOOOOOOO...
0:45 Does anyone notice that blend of a Tusken roar and Vader's exhale in that? That little moment still sends shivers down my spine.
When them violins play when he looks away from her body u just know shits gonna stir
One of the few things Episode II did right.
Yoda: Skywalker’s in pain. Terrible pain.
Mace: Should we summon him to discuss it?
Yoda: …………..naaaah! No big deal!
qui gon calling out to anakin always gets me
I have no problem Anakin killing Tuskan Raiders. They so so much remind me of ISIS.
Hey, Tuskens never killed people for refusing to have sex. And Tuskens certainly aren't stupid enough to declare war on the USA and Russia at the same time.
Cybermat47 It's there barbaric nature I was thinking about.
Eh, Tuskens are still more civilised than ISIS.
True. Or should I say Daesh now?
+Cybermat47 Why did they kill Anakin's mom?
Very powerfull and same time very sad scene because here he falls to the dark side and there no going back.
there actually would’ve been. He could’ve easily been turned back to the light but he didn’t have the same “support” from the light. They never even tried to reach out to him. Just throwing a teenager at all these things
Qui-Gon Jinn: ANAKIN NOOOOO
Yoda: Young Skywalker is in terrible pain...
Mace Windu: *aggresively sweats*
This is the moment when the monster known as Vader was truly born.
They see him as a demon. Do sacrifices to keep him at bay.
lol yeah. Stupid Tuskens
Brilliant scene. The music change and facial expressions were on point. Also, I don't think Anakin overreacted at all by killing the Tusken Raiders, he actually saved a lot of innocent people being taken by them.
+Yellow King Yeah but that was not his intention, he was driven by hatred not by preventing such horrible scenes to happen again. And slaughter of toddlers always hits the fan so. His onslaught paved his doom no doubt to that. It was an egoistic self centered desire for revenge, he had no good thoughts of charity in himself at that moment at all, which molded him into the really uncharitable character darth vader. But has actions are understandable though.
Lucas is an artist. This shit is up there with Shakespeare.
The score makes my blood run cold. I love john Williams!
What’s the matter with the Tusken raiders anyway? Why do they just do that pointlessly aggressive stuff?
is that qui gon calling out to anakin through the force??
Yep
IWantTheChill sweeet
+THE REVERSE FLASH it makes things quite more depressing, qui gon tried so hard to pull him back to the light during that moment 😢
they said they were gonna deeper into that in Ep 3 but nahp
You can hear qui gon say "ANAKIN ANAKIN" Then a sand person says "noo" Then you hear vader breathing. They were foreshadowing vader, kinda dark.
Qui-Gon yelling at Anakin when he knows damn well he did the same damn thing when someone kidnapped his daughter
At 0:45 the person who says "Anakin. Anakin!" is Qui-Gon's ghost trying to stop Anakin. Love the amount of detail they put into these movies. Highly underrated.
Unfortunately you could never guess that without reading around it. There are some great ideas in this film but terribly directed
The Battlefront He's not in the rest of the film in any way so while you can tell it's Liam Neeson you are given no suggestion to why he is there and plus it is played while Yoda meditates so it's not clear whether Anakin actually heard it or it was Yoda hearing it
I remember there was a rumor that Palpatine was behind the Tusken Raiders' kidnapping of Shmi Skywalker. It's only a rumor, but considering what Palpatine is capable of... I don't think this would be too much of a stretch for someone like him.
That and I think I'd be fair in saying that Anakin, out of all the other characters in the Prequels, was the biggest victim of Palpatine's treachery.
I remember watching this for the first time and the "Imperial March" started. I turned ghetto black in my head. I was like, "Aw, shit! Things are about to go down! HARD!"
This might not be one of my favorite movies, but this is one of my favorite scenes in all of starwars
Yep ! The birth of DARTH VADER !
Please bring back Star Wars like this
