- If you love pickles and want to make your own but don't want to go thru the hassle of canning, then this is a must watch. Garlic Half Sour Refrigerator Pickles. And get this,,you can eat them in as little as 3 days after brining.
Ingredients
About 20 small cucumbers
5.5 cups hot water
3 tbsp kosher or sea salt
1/2 cup white vinegar
2 tbsp pickling spice
6 cloves garlic chopped
2 tsp red pepper flakes
4 sprigs fresh dill

My grandma made the same - but she also added green leaf of horse radish plant, and instead of fresh dill - dill seeds. Also, I saw people adding black current leaves - where they do have black current growing 🤣 Granny always said that horse radish and black current leaves keep pickles crunchy.

They last about a month
He said in the video up to about 6 months at the 6:18 minute mark.. I think 1 month isn't nearly as long as there capable of. It has vinegar in it..👍❤️

Less acid ie vinegar more Salty briny than sour
