@@exxzane I'm sure it must have been devastating to Lelouch to find out the mother he loved and adored was just as cruel as the father he despised. She never really gave a shit about him or Nunnally. I can only imagine how that must feel.
i got sadder when I realized that both nunally and lelouch's appearance resemble their parents so much and yet they're nothing alike their parents, and that their parents dont give a shit about them
Right. Lelouch especially resembles his mother with his raven hair and violet eyes. He definitely got his beauty from her. Its must have been devastating for him to find out that she was just as cruel and uncaring of him and Nunnally as their father considering how much he used to adore her.
Charles' Code is upon his right hand. The same hand the grasped Lelouch's neck. The same neck we never again see for the rest of the series. While it is true that one who possesses a Code cannot also posses Geass, the only time we've observed this rule is in the case of those who obtain the Code of the one who gave them their Geass. Charle's Code is V.V.'s code. Ergo, Lelouch can posses both. A "Code Geass" if you will.
I've thought the same thing. It's also possible, given how C.C. got her code, that you only lose your Geass once you die and activate the code. This is why I'm interested in R3. It is also interesting that the second season was called R2. Which is R.R. Which is the Japanese version of Lelouch Lamperouge.
Uh actually no V.V died but Rolo keeps his geass so death of the giver doesnt = to disappearance of the geass so this also signifies that code and geass really cant exist on same person so i think there will be another reason for lelouch's revival
Black Lister Geass and Code cannot coexist. A user who has reached max level of Geass can move to taking a code. Thing is you may indeed take the code but unless you die it is not activated thus making Geass usage possible. At least that's what I've understood from watching this series so many times xD
Seeing this made me understand why Charles was indifferent to Marianne's assassination. Because he knew she wasn't really dead. Too bad he wasn't considerate enough to let Lelouch in on it.
Pretty sure it was secret so that V.V will not discover that Marianne is alive. Remember, V.V loved Marianne, and that is why he assassinated her, and that is why she had to transfer consciousness.
and in that scene a new weapon was invented, the emperocket, half emperor, half rocket and stonger than the spinzaku and the something copter together.

Ahh! After so many years of not seeing this series, the actors and animations still send shivers down me spine. The epicness of deliverance, qnd the story that was so engaging. I miss this series. C.c and lelouch needs to have a kid
simple, because their peace was at the expense of the happiness of everyone else, their were going to sacrifice the happiness of the world for themselves, lelouch was gong to sacrifice his own happiness for the worlds happiness.
I just realized... it is both. He wished upon the world of C, (which is also the world where Geass and Codee come from.) And also used his Geass on the world of C, (collective consciousness thus his consciousness and Charles's as well) to Not stop time, move forward, stop Charles's will and anything involving that. Thus Charles and Marianne had to die/disappear be absorbed to continue time and life. Charles puts his hand on his neck. He tells Suzaku to not interfere, because right after that, because he has also reached a level of geass, tells him "disappear" (which is the actual translation from Japanese of Kiero) Meaning... ultimately, with help from the Collective consciousness and God/Gods and his command, he made Charles disappear/die. Taking the code that was in his hand to his neck, which is why he told Suzaku to not interfere (A only he was able to handle Charles wtith his level of Geass and B, of course he would not have wanted for Suzaku to get a code at all) I analyzed this scene, C.C's story, and Japanese interviews from the creators and now I am convinced that he had the code and did not die. He had to activate it with the impaling. Just as Charles Shot himself in the heart right after taking V.V's code. But Charles never foresaw that the collective consciousness could be contacted directly.
I really have to say this theory needs to die if leouch got to live forever I feel it would ruin the message of him paying for his sins and his overall message
+MrCwilson42 Thats why the ending is so good, its ambigious, you can interpret it how you like it. I like to believe Lelouch did get the code and he is now immortal, living with CC with the codename RR (since his japanese name is rurushu, CC is japanese is pronounced C2 and the season is called R2). I like this interpretation because Lelouch still has to pay, he changed the world for the better and instead of taking credit for it he became the public enemy known as the Demon emperor. He basically has to abandon the persona "lelouch". Also it emphasizes how smart and miracle maker he is. After analyzing how things turned out i can only think "All hail Lelouch". Final detail and minor detail... CC and Lelouch was the best ship in the series and the only one that actualy had foreshadowing, on the last episode of R1 lelouch said "if you are a witch then i shall become a warlock", guess what, he did!
+MrCwilson42 it was his image...his act that paid for his sins... he was the human Damocles focusing all hatred on him banding everyone in their hate for him so that once he was gone they could have world peace.
God in the Code Geass universe isn't God like in real-life religions. It's just the identity of every single human in the Code Geass universe, dead or alive, together as C's World (World of C). That's why it's also reffered to as "Collective Conciousness" at times. This doesn't exactly mean that the person is completely inside the World of C (they only truly go there when they die), it only means that the person is a part of it. So Lelouch, Nunnally, Charles, Kallen, Cornelia, Rivalz, Nina, etc. every single human being in Code Geass is part of the World of C and they go there when they die.

Using words that felt out of place & weird.. Not to mention most of the male characters sounded the same in Japanese Dub. I admit both voice actors for Lelouch killed it! Charles and Marianne: We love our children! Humanity needs Complementation! You clever little fool! Lelouch: Boggis, Bunce And Bean! One Fat, One Short, One Lean! These Horrible Crooks So Different In Looks, Are None The Less Equally Mean!
It was to emphasize the fact that Lelouch's parents doesn't really care about him unlike Euphie and Shirley who died because of Lelouch but still understands him and cares for him to the point that they didn't leave any kind of evidence that Lelouch is Zero out of spite
He realised that they forgave Lelouch for the things he’s done and didn’t hate him. Shirley even tells Suzaku that she had overcome what Lelouch did, killing her father and erasing her memories, prompting Suzaku to do the same.
Lelouch pleaded with the World of C, or "god" as some called it, the collective conscious of mankind's past, present and future - They agreed and banished his parents, so his parents ceased to exist as individuals and gets absorbed back into the pool. Look up "Akashic Records", it's basically the same concept, except deified.

Charles and Marianne: We love our children! Humanity needs Complementation! You clever little fool!
Lelouch: Boggis, Bunce And Bean! One Fat, One Short, One Lean! These Horrible Crooks So Different In Looks, Are None The Less Equally Mean!
The end of "end of the history" and the longtermists
I wonder why Suzaku thinks: "Euphie never said Lelouch was Zero. Nor did Shirly". What does he mean? How is that important?
It was to emphasize the fact that Lelouch's parents doesn't really care about him unlike Euphie and Shirley who died because of Lelouch but still understands him and cares for him to the point that they didn't leave any kind of evidence that Lelouch is Zero out of spite
@@scooottbruh7849 oh, that makes sense. Thank you!
He realised that they forgave Lelouch for the things he’s done and didn’t hate him. Shirley even tells Suzaku that she had overcome what Lelouch did, killing her father and erasing her memories, prompting Suzaku to do the same.

Can someone give me an in-depth explanation of what happened here lol
Lelouch pleaded with the World of C, or "god" as some called it, the collective conscious of mankind's past, present and future - They agreed and banished his parents, so his parents ceased to exist as individuals and gets absorbed back into the pool.
Look up "Akashic Records", it's basically the same concept, except deified.
