- In this video I give a full in depth tour of the 2012 BMW X6 M. I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of this sport activity vehicle while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicle itself. I also show the engine and the details of it, start it up and see how it sounds under acceleration. A thorough tour/review of the X6 designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.

A lot of you people need to not comment on a vehicle if you don't know its real purpose. There are people here talking about how much better a range rover is. They are not comparable! The X6 is not built to be an off roader, or a people carrier, whereas the Range Rover is! If you're going to comment on how much better another car is, then do it with the right vehicle.
If X6 wasn't built for offroad or for people carrier then what is the purpose BMW built it for?

It's built for hard core driving . Beast with 555HP and with 800$ tuning kit you have closer to 650. i love my X6m. It's pure Driving machine and highway racer

From my experience, it is definitely worth getting. The one thing I hate is the extremely small headspace in the backseat; however, I am considered as a tall person. Leg room in the back seat is adequate if an average size person sits in the front passenger seat. Great performance.

I've watched a lot of reviews of the BMW X6 & X6M and what I like most about this video is that it has all 3 seats in the rear. So far, ALL the other reviews I've watched, have this vehicle down as a 4 seater. They've been misinformed. The base grade BMW X6 is a 4 seater but the option IS available to have 3 seats in the rear. The proof is in this video and on BMW's website where you can configure your own X6. Great job!!!

this car is a fucking tank, I was behind one in the parking lot for my college and it was just so intimidating
this car is special because of its engine and that M button....interior, sat nav, radio and all other things are just the same like on regular x6...
interesting. Someone in my family bought the new x3, I really really like it. Very fast when you slam it in gear and put the foot down. As for offroad, you are right, I was driving a 2006 x3 one time up a snow hill, it made it half way up haha. Luckily, I dont see anyone buying an x for offroad driving. Personally, I'm eyeing the 2013 GTR ;)
Love my 2010 X6 to death, although regret not getting the m package, but I still love it. Great purchase, I really recommend it :)

Almost perfect. The dashboard design is from 80's. The multicolor stitches should appear in seats and door panels too.

I don't get it why people hate BMW so much? This particular model is an "M" model and it's different and more powerful from a standard X6. I've ridden an X6 M a month ago and it was awesome and ridding it was comfortable both front and back seat.
I must say it - I love this car. I would change color af course, eventually black, silver rims and generally silver additionals. What is the most amazing in this vehicle is that he combine business and pleasure. I am going to buy one in the next year ar not later than 2014 whit the new engine 50d

@CR7vaporz Yes it does but it is too expensive so there isn't many X6Ms on the road.
Actually, he doesn't. He cuts the video to a time when he revved it later, after the car has warmed up. He just places the video clip there, because it makes sense to put it there. (He has explained this before, thats why I know btw)
@ClubbySuperCharged AWD isn't only for offroading. It's actually for better traction and its great on icy roads and driving in snow and rain. Not to mention smooth launches.
Made a road-test of similar beauty with an 3.0-litre twinturbo engine three days ago here in shitty&snowy Moscow.... what can I say about that? The rocket has awesomely sharp steering system and perfect reaction on pushing a throttle pedal. Amazing unit :)
That's what some people asked about the iPad, but as we can see, people found a use. It's innovative for BMW and I really don't like BMW's except the M6 and older 8-series.

Oh shit I didn't see that other comment you wrote. It's just like how they had the M1 concept in the 80s and they now have the 1 series and wanted to make an M version of it. They had to call it the 1M which is now going to get the ball rolling where the number comes before the letter. It sounds weird at first but they have to do that to make sense.
I believe this is the only model of BMW that I haven't been tailgated and/or cut off by.

its handles well and as for the auto comment, have you not heard of the veyron, its an auto as is all off the AMG mercs for the last few years. just because its auto doesnt mean its slow or not sporty, need i also remind you that most motorsport vehicles lack the clutch pedal some people are so found of.

He's right. BMW is German and most of it's cars are built on southern Germany, but the entire X series (X1, X3, X5, X6, and their M variants) are built in the US.
This x6 is slowly starting to grow on me.....
