The event is for many things but it is not a car show so you can enter any car for what ever events you want (ie, drift, 1/4 mile, cruise) the video you see here is the cruise event, hour of power which is for high HP cars and as the Ferrari and Lambo come out factory with high HP they were allowed in on the cruise. Ferrari actually had engine work and was quicker than a stock 360.
@Senninha1960 - Good question and not fully sure how many as i only saw one car coming off the track on a tilt-tray which had glided into a wall. Poor Mustang :(
Price wasn't mentioned on your earlier comment and really shouldn't be looked. just because its worth 3 times more doesn't mean its going to be 3 times faster even though we all wish that was the case. But stick a Twin Turbo kit on the Lambo and it will blow pretty much most cars off the track (i.e underground racing) Dont get me wrong i love the R34 and used to own and R32 and R33 but compared to the Lambo they are just too different cars to compare.
So you're saying a Gallardo is not quicker than a standard R34 GT-R around a track?? Nürburgring the GT-R got a 8:01 where as the Gallardo got a 7:40 in stock trim. 1/4 for Gallardo = 12.1 or Superleggera = 11.7 but R34 = 13.7. Seems like a big difference to me.. Also keep in mind that the white GTR in this video had a lot of work done to it and had more power than the stock Gallardo.
@KusTmLad Lets be realistic here as yes the Fords are getting better and are a great car but i doubt he would have taken the Lambo around the track. AWD against rear wheel drive..... I have a slight memory of the Holdens getting hammered around bathurst by the GTR's due to better grip and handling. Dont get me wrong i think the Ford was pretty impressive but im sure he would not have been able to be on boost going around a corner where as the Lambo could have accelerated hard if he wanted to
It can hold its own in a straight line im sure with an 11 or low 12 qm, im not knocking the car. Im knocking the guy driving, wheres the fun in rushing past everyone when you could be giving it a squirt next to them. Oh wait...it hurts to see a $400k + supercar get beaten by something a lot less pricey. Even if it is only in a straight line.

I have a feeling that if this Lambo and Yellow Roch hit the dyno they wouldn't have the guts to put the skin off a custard. Bugger know how they got a Hp sticker. Nice cars but far from 1000hp.That Skyline at about 6:30min would smash the Lambo, I know because I ran it with 600hp and I lost.......

HAHHAAH you ran it with 600 HP and lost but we ran it about 5 times that day and were pretty much equal. (I have the whole thing on tape to prove it) The Lambo stock is over 500hp and the "Hour of Power" (HP Sticker) run was not for 1000Hp cars otherwise there wouldnt be any Rotaries on the track but you might have noticed there were a lot around. The reason it might not have looked that quick is because most of the cars on the track were well over 500HP ++ The 360 also has work done to it

Power Cruise was just a cruise around giving it hits and smoking tires etc which is why i never mention Lambo blowing away high HP cars as they were not really racing.
