I have just bought one 5 strings 2011 after watching this video. The sound of this bass has blown my mind, the detinition of the low B string is incredible, the bass is super light and also has a lot of sound. I will never sell it, and I think I was so lucky to finding it.
I had a Warwick a couple of years ago. I was fine after having my old one sold, but after this video I want a Warwick again. The slap tone is simply amazing.
Laughed at the wide string spacing. I have a 4 string jazzman with super tight spacing (think it's 16.5 mm) and I recently got a 6 string bubinga corvette fretless and the string spacing is 20mm! Have gotten used to it now though haha! After a lot of practice.
I love the sound of this bass, it's unique, clean, the slap sounds huge and aggressive, but your way of playing is even better! By the way, is the nut made of bone? Normally Warwicks usually have a just-a-nut made of brass or tedur.
i dont mean to be so off topic but does anybody know of a way to get back into an instagram account?? I stupidly lost the password. I appreciate any assistance you can offer me.
@Edwin Jordy I really appreciate your reply. I found the site through google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Takes quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
Would you recommend this bass overall? How does the wide neck feel? I’m thinking of picking one up from reverb. They can be spendy but I feel like they’d be worth it.
I have this identical bass, but it is a 2000 and the previous owner had changed the gold hardware for black hardware. Also it doesn't have fretboard dots. I didn't think I'd get on with the wide neck spacing as I don't have the largest hands, but I actually find it very comfortable. Thanks for posting the video, great playing. Cheers.
Looks and sounds beautiful!
Oh my god mid 100% sounds fantastic on both pickups.
Great sound!

Man: does the lower part of this neck seem wide :-O !!
Great sound (and playing) anyway \m/

My 1990 is in need of a new preamp. Your bass sounds great.
Thanks
@@pertybass what preamp is in there?
The B string sounds awesome, much better than any other 5 string. I have the 4 string, fabulous basses but would love the 5 string tho.

Thanks so much, you saved my account :D
@Chance Alfredo no problem =)

The bass is great, but the fingerboard killed me...
whys that? wide string spacing?
Yes, too wide. For me at least
Do you still have this bass?
It wasn't mine to begin with....
If you get a chance, could you demo this vs the stage I 4 string of your buddy? I would like a (used) 5 but only see 4's available right now.
SVHBaixo The Stage I 4 string has been sold... sorry

What's the different of this bass and the Warwick streamer doble buck with picups hambuker mec?
The woods, electronics, pickups... everything.
Hi! I noticed that! (The wide space between strings). Does the bridge allow you to modify the space? Cheers!
Yes you can!
@@pertybass Oh, that’s fantastic.
I find it super compressed sound specialli when slap. Can you uncompress it or that is the "natural" sound?
This bass is not mine... I don't have it
גיטרה סבבה, בסיסט ענק
תודה !!!
What amp are you using? Great demo btw
ddrumdude no amp at all, the bass goes directly to the computer
Awesome, sounds great!
did your b string naturally fit into that bridge or did you have to file/replace it? I have a 96 streamer and can't fit any b string into the bridge
I had to shim the bridge
took it down to a tech today lol@@pertybass
passeiro em que site posso comprar esse contrabaixo warwick streamer stage 6 corda
Eu não tenho idéia ...
Hi. Did you record with an amp or direct by line?
Hi, direct by line
@@pertybass Wow! Sounds awesome!
what pickups?
MEC
How much would this bass cost used? 2700?
I have no clue…. It’s not my bass
@@pertybass got it. Thank you.
Bartolini pickups?
I think that these are the MEC pickups
How wide is the string spacing on this one? Seems very wide, like 20mm. If I'm not mistaken, usually Warwicks 5-strings have very narrow spacing.
18mm
The SS is a Broadneck and can be adjusted to around 19mm at the tightest, 20.5mm at widest.
Is this the broadneck model?
Yes it is
@@pertybass Good to know. Thank you.
Spector copy
Bass Player i think you might be mistaking. Spector used to be owned by warwick. So yeah
There's no way to do this thing sound bad.
Right!!
I agree
