Tbh i never even hated it, I guess im a little built different to not get angry st dying, but god dang did it get frustrating with artificer, i had like 25 successful cycles and over 90 deaths. (Like the deaths were very much piled heavily towards the last 6 cycles, it wasn't like i died 3 times each cycle, i died like 20 times to get forward, mostly due to my desire to murder every scavenger on sight.
dude im at like 4ticks on the house survivor hibernation thingy and i have no clue what am i supposed to do right now. does anything happen when the house is 5 ticks? is it like the end of the survivor character or smthng or should i just keep playing to find out myself
@@FrogVoid1 i helped on rubicon, yeah - mostly working on it's aesthetic. made it a little less blindingly red, LOL. most of the work i did was on the bitter aerie and artificer's region.
Artificer's campaign is really painful at first if you don't have a good hang of the combat controls The explosion jump is an extremely powerful tool for fighting, as is having explosives basically whenever, obviously. Once you get a feel for basic combat arty is super fun.
@@NocturneOST I did go check the archive and I will probably wait and see if there's some edited videos coming eventually. Unfortunately I can't actively watch something for 8 hours due to having an ant brain.
if i remember correctly, finishing the game with one of the three slugcats unlocks Rivulet, who is much faster, jumps higher and swims better. Pretty awesome campaign. *mild spoiler* The devs did a great job with changing the environments depending on when each slugcats campaign takes place, with more or less decay on the structures, particularly around the Iterators *slightly more spoiling* Meeting Five Pebbles is usually a break-through moments, most Slugcats getting the ability to understand the Iterators there
I never went left on the start lmao. Went to a total of like 4 areas and then beat the artificer. Probably other endings too but whatever, spoilers gonna spoil, also gourmand is good as well, anything below you might as well be considered dead.
Day 2 of telling albino he should try cultist simulator. Hey albino, you should play cultist simulator. A card management game based in a late 1920s London, which takes inspiration from H.P. Lovecraft. It's quite challenging at first and somewhat vague but once you figure it out it's a really good time and can create many fun scenarios.
I'd assume not uploaded. You have to beat either survivor or monk in order to unlock this character. He was also talking about the hunter, which has the same restriction.
@@ragingfirefrog yes that's why it's weird, was thinking he maybe got a save with it to play it instantly from the developers or something but that'd be really strange
Hey, remeber when Albino played this game like an absolute brain rot maggot, refused to try new things insisting on overcoming obstacles his way, failed to learn critical information when it mattered, even ignored basic tutorials which ultimately lead to everybody's frustration? Feels like it was yesterday
Well I'm still in the "hating it" stage of the game experience, does anyone have advice for getting to the part where it suddenly becomes the best thing to ever exist?
Exploring new areas or killing really tough enemies is what usually starts becoming the "I love this game" part, if you can make it past the Shaded Citadel you'll eventually start loving the game. Just keep exploring and eventually you'll love it.
The game never stops being brutally hard, you honestly just have to get better at the game. Understand the AI and get better at movement. Just accept that dying and learning is part of the experience
In addition to tips above, Its will sound bad but.. use cheats (dev tool, V key to move slugcat anywhere) if you are stuck in one place for more than an hour, it will save time and some nerves. Use map! Theres full map on the wiki and interactive one, its really useful even for old players lol And if your a newbie - don't jump straight to DP slugcats. They require experience and "where tf should i go?" sense. Start with monk (easy mode. need less food and lizards are more chill)
all our slugcat keeps blowing up!
so why should we waste our time describing those cute, little, curls... them twisty, crispy Slugcat
I need the animaiton NOWW
WUBAAAOOOOW

Hated it when i kept dying
Learned to enjoy the game
And now I'm addicted to it

so happy he stuck through with this game. Genuinely obnoxious to play for a while but the pay off is one of the most incredable gaming experiences
Rain world is the ultimate dying is fun game. Once you can just laugh at dying in a funny or embarrassing way the game gets way better

yes axolotl sallie
what character is that
Went from albino malding over the map dono to him knowing everything about the game in a matter of a week
goddam
Through steam input you can bind a key to both "pick up" and "jump" at the same which allows for the mythical explosive jump button to exsist.
Been waiting so long for Albino to get into Rainworld, feel so happy he loves it
Im so happy to see you playing this game and Im loving this campaign so far but dam is it hard

explosives love him
Im pretty sure explosives still hate him because they die to blow up.

take a shot every time albino mentions a dedicated explode button
for anyone having the same problem with the binding for arti's explosive jump there's a mod on the workshop that lets you bind it to whatever you want

Seeing Albino's transition from Rain World hater to Rain World lover makes me really happy

Can’t wait for the albino and daszombes collab
"there is a pipebomb in your shelter"
I would make a meet the demoman comment but i dont remember what has to happen with what chemical for everything to Go kablooey.
One crossed wire, one way ward pinch of potassium chloride, one errant twitch, and Kablooey!
Sounds like you played more or looked something up. Hope you’re enjoying the discoveries.
It's really hard to find that dark-red slugcat on the screen because of colour
Demoman Slugcat is the most based Slugcat
i still cant believe albenis skipped the coolest part of the game in his first playthrough
Will there be an original playthrough on this channel? The one from the last video?
Hope so, there was a lot of funny moments. Look up in his clips chanel "twerking rabbit incident"
What's that gold flying thing that keeps following him? Does it have any effects/uses?
It does have a purpose, but that's a huge spoiler for the campaign.

how do you even do the jump explosion boost, i press jump and grab both and it does nothing
