Actually Erick I think there was another reason for Dante´s cameo. Kazuma Kaneko, the creative director for Nocturne and main monster designer for the SMT series, was the responsible for both Dante and Vergil Devil Trigger designs for DMC3. Devil may cry 3 was released in early 2005 so it wouldn´t be strange for kaneko to be working in both projects at the same time. Also, Capcon put a lot of publicity and effort into that game because of the failure of dmc2, so it is possible some kind of deal was made. Grat video as allways!! greetings from Argentina

Persona series is so colorful, but this is dark yet awesome because no school setting or social link which is holding back the Persona series from becoming as great as SMT. P2 didn't have school or social links and I heard it had a great rumor system, so why go from that to what we have now?

Variety Is needed with the series and keeps things from getting tiresome. Persona has more widespread appeal and it being popular brung more attention/money to atlus which only benefits SMT. That's why SMT V is so hyped and has more of a budget and advertising push. That is partially thanks to modern Persona (and Atlus track record of putting out great games in general).
Still one of my all-time favorite jrpgs. Difficulty was appropriate for the world it was in too. People might not like how light it is on story, but it's what makes the game special. It really pulls you into its world and you find yourself thinking about your "reason" for choosing how to go about situations in the game. The whole "reasons" thing in contrast to the typical alignments in other SMT games is what really makes this game special in the story department. I like how open-ended and artistic it is with how the story presents itself.

I got the true ending last year prolly one of the toughest games I’ve ever played however it’s prolly in my top 3 greatest games of all time . I think it’s a masterpiece
just for the record, would this "true ending" you mentioned be the "true demon ending" (aka. the one where you fight lucifer at the end)? cuz if so, calling it that way would somewhat of a mistake, since there is not canon ending in nocturne
Having a fun time with this game and switching between speed blitzing and exploring enemies weak while gliding! The monster chats and recruitment are way deeper than Persona 5.
Only the maniax/international version has the fiends and the labyrinth of amala right? I would imagine the original Japan-only version was a smoother difficulty curve without having to fight the fiends. God-tier game, in any case ❤️
The first version doesn't have Amala labyrinth. The second (Dante) version is the re-release version (plus Amala stuff) for both JP and international market. Then they released the third version, Maniax Chronicle, which was bundled with Devil Summoner: Kuzunoha Raidou VS King Abaddon. Maniax Chronicle is the same thing as Maniax but they replaced Dante with Raidou and it was only for the JP market.
I am almost through the game. It is a roller-coaster. Some dungeons are a pain if you really don't get what they want. I also wish they would have included a manual. But the free difficulty setting is a blessing. Also the amount of endings is amazing. You have literally an ending for everything

I guess im on the minority that found devil survivor WAYY harder than nocturne, maybe it was because i loved so much and i ended up grinding too much or something like that, but im pretty sure i beated lucifer on the first try on the hardest difficulty meanwhile on devil survivor i had problems finishing the game and didnt even tried to fight lucifer.
Who else bought the HD remaster? I did even though I own it digitally on PS3 and physically on PS2, though I am not sure I should feel dejected. I am a collector and I feel like it is such a barebones package, like opening the Case reveals a blank white insert which is unusual for Switch games (although I am working on a project and making my own case background which has been kind of fun) And the cost for Dante is like double what it should be. Maybe I'll feel better after beating Matador.
I had a wonderful time playing this game. Now I'm playing four, apocalypse next and by then it should be November. What a great series, I even dabbled with the first game in a translated pack. I do want to play through that one as well.

this game does have a first person mode but you gotta beat the game once and hit select in order to do that but because of the game's map design the first person mode is obsolete because of it's fixed movement (only facing north, south, east and west.)
I heard the remaster isn't much of an improvement over the PS2 version. I saw this with SMT Strange Journey and it's Redux version from DS to 3DS, but I digress. I'm thinking of just finding a Fan Translated version of the original unless the remaster is uncensored. Would like to see a good port of IV and Apocalypse to Switch

Remember he also has access to Dekunda and Red Capote, then use sukukaja 4 times, rakunda and sukunda for a total of 3 times otherwise he will use Dekunda, rakukaja to protect from his attacks, and tarukaja/makaja to boost Attack or Magical Attack, also get Uzume and Bright/Dark Might because these skills are broken
Nocturne wasn’t that difficult to me. The instant death spells could ruin your day and the magatama from that arcade mini game was definitely hell but other than that I really didn’t have a problem. Xenoblade on the other hand. Smh. I must have fought the final boss my 10 times. Lol

Merciful is a complete joke, even compared to persona 5's very easy difficulty. 250% more damage dealt to enemies, 50% less damage received, less random encounters by default, 3x more exp and 5x more money obtained through battles. It completely takes off from the constant sense of dread the game's supposed to have, and even feels insulting at points. This mode is pretty much made with the sole purpose of allowing game journalists to beat the game and make their half-assed reviews about it without any effort put into *actually* beating it.

Really? I had heard about issues on the Switch version, and hoped for fixes on the Playstation consoles. Always thought it was overpriced for a remaster, and with those technical problems I'll save my money and stick to the PS2 version.

Stories/Adventures in any media should always keep on breaking or resurrect a boundry that will keep the player engaged, think differently and feel accomplished rather than have the same simple schlock given to them. I love alot of JRPGs but I also... hate alot of them for being too much of the same rather than having a story, character, design, various features that makes em stand out but everytime I see a new one on any store page I always check it out even there are no english translations, I gather up my thoughts if I will like it or not compared to other games i've played through or sometimes i take a gamble and buy them .... and it sucks when any of these games just doesn't click with me. Tactical rpgs i tend to play the most for the past few years, I love the added complexities of terrain, height, cover, character actions or passives that have context to areas, positioning, really getting super nerdy with character stats, trial and erroring enemy encounters, using your smarts of using terrain and actions to deal more damage etc. I've been playing alot of Shining Force 2 (3 times), SF1 , Mutant year zero, Xcom series, and recently I've been into fire emblem mostly for the combat.
This was my first SMT game, before I had only played P3 and P5 and honestly I think the story lacks interesting characters and character development. the concept is fine, even cool, the ost is truly on point, the combat system awesome, but the dungeons are lame and repetitive. Also, IN MY OPINION, it makes no sense to make a game where most of the gameplay is pressing triangle for auto combat and adjusting your strategy for rare moments and boss fights. It's not "hard", it's tedious. I liked the game aesthetic, in fact more than P3's, but it's nothing jaw dropping compared to P5

Devil Survivor has a big difficulty curve on most of the seventh days. It's almost impossible to beat the final boss if you're below level 70.

There is an uncompressed music mod for pc as well as modded switches. Very easy to install. It’s a must for me.

Play SMT4, all the tactics you'll learn will be useful for any other SMT games.
as long as you understand advantages/disadvantages and how to buff/debuff properly you should be fine

Also, IN MY OPINION, it makes no sense to make a game where most of the gameplay is pressing triangle for auto combat and adjusting your strategy for rare moments and boss fights. It's not "hard", it's tedious. I liked the game aesthetic, in fact more than P3's, but it's nothing jaw dropping compared to P5
I'll try Strange Journey because I read it probably has the best plot line, but if it does not catch me I think I'll give up the series

am i the only one that gets seriously offended by this? its like you're calling me dumb lol and then i watch these videos to find out i knew most if not all of these trivial facts then I DO FEEL DUMB for falling for the click bait. idk man its just a major pet peeve all these "YOU DIDN'T KNOW" videos. bruh you don't know me lol. what if someone watching this actually knows all 10 things? clearly someone does if you do. did you by yourself discover all ten facts and just keep them to yourself and make sure no one else finds out so you can edit some content together first? is it really that hard to make the title "interesting facts" or even like you said in the beginning "things you may not know" cmon man. this is getting exhausting. this rant waslong overdue. maybe i'll come back and actually watch this video but highly fucking doubt these are 10 things i didn't already know...
