Easily my favorite boss of the game. I don't mind the height difference between the figure and the original sprite though. Capcom's beat em ups always made their bosses ostensibly large, and I think it was for the sole purpose of making them more distinct targets from the rest of the NPCs you had to fight (like the Kingpin; he's so unbelievably big in the Punisher arcade game, it's ridiculous). So this is probably meant to be a more realistic take on what the Chrysalis Alien would look like. Because if they were to put it in a movie, I couldn't see them justifying the costs needed to make it bigger than the rest of the drones.
Although he's a pretty cool looking figure, yes he should be bigger based on the arcade game, and that's a deal breaker for me. It would have been neat if Neca would have made Chrysalis a little bigger and call it a "Deluxe Alien Boss" or something. I'm fussy and don't like things that aren't right in size and scale. He may be unique, but he's a pass for me due to his size. Razor Claws however is a keeper.
So cool but to be honest with you , Anthony. I've played the game and his proportions should be wayyy buffer and really he should be much larger as an overall figure. Very cool still but it's a shame they couldn't go all the way and make a game accurate larger version. Kinda makes it feel like an afterthought for this line in my opinion
I'm gonna pull the head out partway to showcase the unique Humanoid style head-skull, Very original and different, I dont play many games, But figures are my life !!! Cool video, My copy is waiting at the post office right now, Glad I saw this video or I wouldn't have known about the extending neck, Thanks for pointing that out !!!
Word to the wise, folks: please be **extra** 'effing careful when you first pull the head piece out of its carapace =S I'm not sure if the head piece will pop back in should you pull a little too hard, and rip his poor little head off. It seems like it'd be fairly easy to do... And considering the fact that it's on a swivel, I doubt that it'd pop back in =( I tried so damned hard not to pull its head off, and still nearly did so -- or at least it felt like I nearly did. I'm not really sure just how much play the head piece outstretched is supposed to have, but it certainly feels like it has a bit much now o｡O Still, it's an incomparably awesome figure. I've never played the game, but even so, I just **love** the figures that it's spawned -- especially this guy. It's a badass Neca, and *easily* one of the coolest Xenomorphs that they've made thus far. When it comes to Necas, I'm more of a '70s & '80s slasher movies and even more so, Predator collector though. Speaking of, I can't wait for all of the upcoming Preds ^^ And I hope to see *at least* some of them reviewed by our boy, Anthony, eh?

I got this and the razor claw this week. I like them a lot. They stand out against other standard looking alien designs

Neca keeps making great figures. I think i remember this Xeno, and he was huge, but it's been awhile since i played the game.
That's a cool feature on paper but it should have been an interchangeable head.
