Shoutout to Rob Swift for the insane amount of knowledge the bro drops on his channel. Shoutout to Melo D , Babu, D-Styles and all the Junkies for their amazing online lessons. Also salute to Q-Bert for his do it yourself dvd series. The amount of wisdom dropped from these OGs to keep the culture alive is appreciated and respected.. Salute...

Fun fact for all you turntable nerds out there: people have always said 'halftime', but it's actually more like 2/3. Take a 100bpm track and strobe it, it'll end about about 66bpm.

Best tutorial I've seen period. Ps strobing is tough! I've been trying everyday for 3 weeks and am starting to be able to do it thanks to this video. I woulda never understood to start the 2nd TT on the upbeat of 1 hi-hat. Thank you!

I remember listening to these breaks back in the 80s thinking they sounded like something recorded a few decades before the 80s as they sounded so old and nothing like the music of the 80s but most were only 10-15 years old which I found really odd.
