Great to see this rendition by Jamey back on youtube.! This top shuffle song written by Lee Ross has been covered by many country singers, male and female. Imo,Jamey's cover is the best. Jamey with Gordon Terry on fiddle, and probably Larry Sasser on steel do great justice to the song. Jamey is my favorite female country singer, and like many others wished that she had a much longer career in classic country.
She was 10 when Patsy Cline was making hits . She definitely practiced and impersonates Patsy but hardly takes her place. This is probably why I have never heard of her. Patsy Cline will remain the greatest country singer in the world.

Is is truly sad that James did not get the chance to make more records with better material. She is so cute and talented with a beautiful voice. There is one beautiful song of hers - “I’m just lucky I guess” - which has disappeared from UA-cam. Any idea how I can find it?

God gave Patsy Cline that voice and none will ever come close. Ms Ryan does however have a great voice.
Even after all these years - this voice is special and absolutely captivating
Her voice is beautiful. To as I can not find her music on Apple Music . I did not know that she had married Charlie Dick .
