I just bought the 16gb ram/512gb storage version of this and it has a micro sd card slot. I am going to speak to the retailer as the fan is loud on a high cpu use app(like insta360 editing) and it gets really warm.
It's actually pretty exciting to see the direction laptops are headed - there's been such a massive improvement over the last few years alone, and with these new intel chips there seems to be real potential for even further development to benefit users :)
Great review - I love my OLED Asus Laptop. It has been reliable and great to use for the last year. I esp love upgrading the RAM to 40GB and the SSD to 2TB easily by just taking off the bottom cover!! I do not miss my macbook pro at all - in fact I felt so cheated by apple on the cost and memory but no more!
Thank you for the great review! I am really getting to like te laptop, but I am wondering whether it can run games like rocket league on 120hz (1080p minimum), and whether it has freesync (or simililar) functionality. I am also a bit worried on the sound it makes, as I read it can make quite some noise while cooling and such. Do you maybe have some thoughts on this? Thank you in advance😊
The problem with the myasus app coloour gamut is I can't watch youtube in HDR because I need to turn windows 11 HDR on to access that but that means I can't use the myasus app colour profiles which is really annoying. Is there a way around this?

@@cromemcos Memory speed isn't something adjusted with a setting, it is determined by the physical RAM modules in the PC. Some other reviews have shown the very minor improvements of the latest intel laptop CPUs over previous Gen, and this is including the increased RAM speed.

The cpu benchmarks don't appear to be a significant bump over 13th Gen unless they can achieve those results with significantly less power draw and heat generation.
