    Oberon turning into a wendigo will terrify my bud, he is literally scared of that monster, and the wendigo skin would make full sense

    a lot of stuff from Oberon was actually... wrong, first of all his 1 scales of enemy health and shields, which also gets amplified further with weapon damage buffs, you can make a couple orbs that deals over 100% enemy health as damage, while his augment is really used for eidolons, either the frame itself (aka the best solo eidolon killer) or the helminth version for group tactics
    his 2 with a bit of range is able to cover whole maps
    his 3 even if is a bit energy consuming has a lot more regen than wisp, we talking base 40 against base 30 (33% more)
    something never mentioned was the bleeding slow, which actually makes the bleeding timer go over a minute even when you're in missions that reduce timers, allowing you to skip the modifier as a whole
    4th ability, group cc, can fully strip in one go with 200str which raises the question about how that isn't scaling
    the way information is provided, only shows how much of a clickbait this video turns out to be, also the "let's give 2 ways to build" you have a frame that's allowed to specialize and excel at any role

      Wisp is free to stat dump for strength, while Oberon can not, so her healing is effectively better.
      The armor strip is also inconsistent, it only strips enemies on the carpet, misses all the time, and it's overall just a worse version of Frost's or mag's 4th, which don't need 2 casts (carpet).

      the reason we don't get reworks on warframes that need them, it's because of videos like this one where the youtuber omits a lot about the frame, makes people complain about it, and warframes that aren't even used, don't get a thing

      if you go eidolon hunting you see a lot of oberons, you go deep archimedea and there's always wips and oberons, something i haven't seen yet in this 2024, caliban, valkyr, banshee, atlas and nyx, if those don't need help, i don't know what it needs

    I agree that he needs a rework, but turning him into a beast with claws is pretty much already done with Valkyr. Instead, how about this idea: Oberon turns into a wood-based version of the Bonewidow Necramech, like a warframe-based Ent, but with a wooden club instead of a metal sword. Oberon's other abilities stay the same, and DE already has the game mechanics for doing this, so it'd basically just be a cosmetic change with a few tweaks.

    Oberon was the first Warframe I ever got the prime version so he is near and dear to my heart. That said, buff his abilities but I don't want to see him "transform" into some kind of beast form. 😒😒
    Disconnect needing to stand on his Hallowed Ground to get the secondary benefits.
    Let Smite hit, knockdown, and armor strip.
    Hallowed Ground should give immediate status cleanse and give the enemy a status effect, radiation is used to make them turn on each other, let that be more aggressive of them turning on each other.
    Buff Renewal to get it closer to other healing frames and lower the energy cost.
    And yes, by all means, BUFF (the hell out of) Reckoning similar to what Nezha's Divine Spears can do.
    But please no "beast mode." Oberon is the King of the Forest, a Protector of Life, One Who Corrects the Wrongs of Others and brings justice to those who have been wronged. Don't make him into something else to fit "the meta" that changes with every new Warframe or new weapon. 🙄🙄 To hell with the "meta." 😒😒

    I like the idea of being a master support, but I think it would be cool if his abilities had synergy with Titania, as they are king and queen of the faefolk in Celtic lore. I just think it would make for a cool nod to the inspiration

    Me as main Oberon request to adjust or rework him to better.
    S2+S3 oberon improve heal+regen+status immu but trinity(new patch) S1 can do that all and her skill can stack DMG and cancle to instant kill victime who absorb dmg.
    S4+S2 Oberon can strip armor+dmg but Frost can S4 with lower Str and many frame can strip better than that.
    S2 weed field do DoT/Dmg/CC/confuse but Qorvex still do better with long dur+dmg+360 plus rad100% instant.
    In your comment S1,2,3 agree.
    But S4 no...We don't want oberon do same thing as cat-valkye or 3head dog or wu kong or more...
    We prefer same as lore or his passive summon war deer or something do same skill as master and stack help player and party.
    Or S4 do same as renocking but effect change with S1 2 3 active.
    S1 enemy have condi/status take force knockdown will splash Dmg.
    S2 enemy have valu or cofuse take Dot dmg.
    S3 enemy stay at range aura take confuse.
    Or S4 do as aura hallowed reckoning enemy who stay in range X sec will get force knockdown and dmg who die in aura effct will drop ENorb and splash heal, who hit oberon when s4 active will get return in kind dmg to da face, who got hit will stack more dmg and weaker every hit.
    Oberon should do concept master of none and jack of all trade with better scale in future patch can do.

    As a Player who enjoys playing Oberon i find my self overwhelmed in high level missons and even "Elite Archimedean" missions.
    For me would be great if DE would integrate his augments for his 1st, 3rd and 4th abilities.
    As you said 2nd should be transformed into an Aura instead of a Ground ability. Because right now as soon as you jump away from the "Hallowed Ground" effect you loose all of the buffs.
    And finally cut down the energy cost of all of his abilities!
    Right now i have to "Sacrifice" 3 Mod slots just to add his 3 Augments for his 1st, 3rd, and 4th ability, which drastically reduces his power output.
    Right now still till this day Oberon is THE ONLY Frame who can cluster your screen with buffs which have diminished effects.

    Being an Oberon main gave me a clear view of the frame's strong points and possibilities for a better kit.
    We all love a good Paladin, but as Oberon stands now is a support that has a few target powers that deal with enemies. Still love the fact the first can knock dudes down to open up for ground finishers.
    Okay, let me cook on this.
    Passive: Everyone in the team gets a heath regen ten per second while reaching full heath will give overguard instead.
    1st powe smite: tap cast on a target will knock them over while sending out orbs that deal damage (scales with enemies level) that, upon killing the effected target, will give a bump to heath and energy. (That includes any targets that gets hits with orbs)
    Hold cast will channel that affect to your weapons while anyone hit will be rooted in place to a cap of ten targets. (Mind you anyone can kill the affected target, and everyone will get the bump to heath and energy)
    2nd hollowground: tap cast will grow plants around (360 around him) Oberon that will give anyone who enter the field more healing (at max heath will give overguard instead) along with armor boost until leaving the field (armor boost will linger after leaving field based on duration). Can only have four instances of hollowground but they remained indefinitely until other cast. Any enemies enter will get a tick of damage that will upon kill or death within the field will grow a tree that drops Universal orbs for a short time. While standing in field will give status immunity and knock down immunity.
    Hold cast will have a hollowground have smaller range but remains on Oberon at the center that doubles the overguard instead of healing. (hold cast is a channeled power which offers the same like smite in smaller amounts.)
    3rd power Renewal: upon cast will channel Oberon's power to heal allies while also double the effects of any other healing effect. While standing in hollowground will give fixed armor boost even if you step of the field while any kill while active will drop Universal orbs.
    4th power Reckoning:
    Oberon will raise his hand up and channel his power into new life in a form of fairies (while in animation, you'll have invincibility frames). With each fairy you have gives damage reduction to a cap of 90% and based on your power strength will give more fairies (cap 30). After having summoned Oberon's loyal fairies, they can be sent out to attack enemies (upon casting 4th again to send out fairies), which will make them more vulnerable to damage while lifting up in the air which upon killing the effected target will refund the fairies that were sent out. When casting upon hollowground will give Oberon a damage buff based on his overall health and overguard while anyone within range will also get the same buff aswell.
    I'm open for ideas and would love to hear about yours tenno. Hopefully in due time this won't be just a "what if" but a possibility for all the underdogs of warframes. Stand tall, stand together and reach for the dreams. Cheers.

    I have always loves Oberon and I agree his dmg is lackluster his support is decent to high tier, not top tier though. The main issue is he needs all stats increased he's very stat heavy . There's no perfect build . I've tried now for over 6 years . Regular steel path he does ok but once you hit level 300 enemies his effectiveness literally hits brick wall. Not a gradual decline just straight drop off.

    i dunno, maybe they changed somethign in the last 6 months since i played, but overall, i dont think he needs a rework. but more of a rebalance. maybe change how some of his skills work, like his aura heal costing too much to sustain based on how many allies are there.
    at most, i feel like him, alongside most other frames, need a good survivability ability,

    It would be nice if Hallowed Ground was always 360° aoe and had more range. Renewal healing effects are hard to use in steelpath right now(for me), its better if it give status immunity without Hallowed Ground and if it could restore shields/overshields it would be nice too. Lastly if there was some synergy with Smite and Reckoning, like if you use Smite it will hit more enemies and give max stacks of RADIATION and when you use Reckoning on enemies that are affected by radiation it explode their armors and drop health orbs at the same time without needing to kill them. But replacing Reckoning by an exalted ability looks COOL too!

    Oberon's skill is fun to play with I don't think his skill needed to be touched, the problem with him is there are only 2 ways to play him in my opinion, in either survivability or CC. I tried to build him again and again he's abilities are still fun as always but if you invest in his ability there's no room for survivability mods, if I mod him for survivability there's no creation room for me to play with his abilities. He doesn't have enough mod slots... If DE is nice enough to add 2 more mod slots he'll be fine.

      This is exactly my issue with him. His energy economy is terrible so you need a couple of dedicated slots for that. He also needs max range and duration. And his survivability isn't that naturally great so I wind up wanting BOTH umbral fiber and adaptation.

      @rowankeltizar5961 I spent quite some time testing him out, and ended up using 3 umbral mods, and the rest are survivability mods plus a single slot for augment. If I remember correctly only my strength is being modified and the rest is at 100. I just hope DE can add 2 more mod slots so I can add some range for my broberon since there are arcane and shards that can give you strength and duration but didn't have anything for range (maybe there's some add-on that gives range but so far the research that I did no result for range yet). His skill is fun no need for total change, not to mention we can spam his skill to cover the whole map and make him a great cc frame, with his 4th augment increase the range just cover the whole tileset with your grass jump around and cast your 4th everyone gets armor stripped. But as you understand he can only have 2 playstyles, either cc or survivability. Sad 😢

    Certain Warframes were created for certain purposes. With the helminth, some sprint speed and archon shards, Oberon does pretty well in sp. I don't really compare Warframes to others. Yes, they have similarities, but the so called meta is bs. Those people running through missions in 60 seconds A. Get no loot B. Are fast and flashy, but will die in heavy combat situations where you can't run C. Claim everything that seems to do well "meta". Oberon can be an absolute beast if you build him properly, just like every other frame. I even have a steel path equinox build that does well.

    I'm sorry but you have no skill with oberon and clearly don't understand the frame and that fourth ability is trash for him, it would be better in voruna, but back to oberon, put brief respite, remove phoenix renewal and add his fourth or even his second ability augment those are far better and to make it all work change his first ability for a grouping ability, oh and most importantly ADD SOME RANGE.

    A druid frame would be great, but i wouldn't change oberon into that rather have a new druid shapeshifter frame.
    Oberon paladin like playstyle could be reworked to be useful. Here's an idea for his rework:
    Passive:Dealing damage with his abilities restore health to companions (maybe also giving them overguard if their health is full)
    Enemies recently damaged by oberons abilities could take more damage from companions
    Smite:Deal radiation damage to a target and release damaging particles from it just like the old one, but enemies hit by the ability and its projectiles are marked for a duration
    when marked enemies die they also release damaging projectiles and mark other enemies repeating the process
    Hallowed Ground:Would be the same with the addition that it gives weapon damage buff to allies standing in its range
    Renewal:Increases maximum health and gives health regen to allies around him , instead of an active channeling ability that takes energy/s it could be duration based
    and you could still get the armor buff if you cast it while standing on hallowed grounds
    Reckoning:Same ability with faster animation (or just remove the full-body casting) instead of reducing armor it could make enemies vulnerable to radiation damage for a duration

      I could get behind this as well as my own idea. Main thing is I don't want to see Oberon become something he's not and was never created to be. He was the first frame I ever got the prime version so I don't want to see him become something else to follow "the meta." Your suggestions are very good and a lot like mine.

    Oberon nukes deals insane status and heals and can nuke the whole room in sp content and scale well into lvl 400 is where his damage falls off and his survivability falls off

      His kit needs some updates but he's honestly not terrible. I've struggled to get good damage with hallowed reckoning though. Not sure how you are nuking steel path with it.

    Oberon has been my main since I started Warframe. Here's some thing I would want to see for each ability.
    1: Make Smite into more of an AoE projectile than a single target ability. Same effect with spreading hit Radiation damage around with orbs, but allow it to hit several enemies at once, spreading the damage even wider. (Think like Zephyr's air blast)
    2: This ability would most likely be the one to be removed, BUT a way to buff it up would be to add thorns to slow abd apply Bleed procs and Radoation while cleansing your teammates of status effects. (Reminder this ability currently also gives Knockdown Immunity)
    3: Literally just make his Armor application instant on activation and make it so teammates receive and KEEP the Renew when within your Affinity range.
    4: Applies Armor strip without Hallowed Ground, and please please please boost the damage in this thing. I'm currently running like 270% Ability Power and can hardly kill basic mobs with it, INCLUDING the augment.

    Renewal is fine, it just needs to cost less, cast faster, and either have less required strength to full strip (200 to 150 or even 175) or not require Hallowed Ground to strip. Increased overall damage would also be nice.

    Honestly, Oberon isnt even really all that bad. I play him a fair amount, and I think he kinda has the ember problem (ember is being changed i know shut up) where his kit has too many limitations. I think touch ups and improvements to his kit would be justified over a complete rework. He just needs to be more prepared for the modern warframe climate.
    (If we wanna talk about warframes that DESPERATELY need a rework, warframes with only 1 or 2 functional abilities like Banshee, Chroma, Caliban, Loki, etc.)

    I agree with the other stuff except wild beast. he is funny tree man not uh.. idk druid frame. he reminds me more of a treant rather than a druid.
    Oberon to me doesnt really need a rework. I say work caliban first. Literally less useful than a roomba.. no. Less useful than the trash the roomba's pick up. Also what the other comment said, Limbos a good candidate. I would put Oberon with Valkyr on rework priority. Maybe a nyx or equinox rework? I know some people can get her to work but shes just unfun to play imo..

    Hard disagree on the 4 changes tbh. Just feels like you hysteria on his 4. Surely theres easier less time costly things you could do with the framework of reckoning to make it good, Hyrdroid proves it can work

    The No.1 Frame that needs a rework is limbo... The issue is not trying to do alot of dmg or trying to get him to survive, its theory crafting how to not annoy your teammates by using him in a not intended way. Can't think of another frame that has that issue.

      @@xXlURMOMlXx loki doesnt give any problems to his team mate.he has survivability since he can go invis, his invis is also hands down, one of, since its timed based, and doesnt cost alot, and you can use ANY ranged weapon while invis. he also has radial disarm which is amazing if you build for it.
      the issue with loki is that he has no damage mitigation so he will go down if you dont keep a look at his invis timer, and the fact his 1 and 3 are useless to situational at best(getting around energy/alert gates)..

      I think Limbo has its place and for the specific niche cases hes the perfect frame (mobile defense, defense). I don't think he actually needs a rework though.

    I love everything except the last one. I love the ability to much to remove it. Just make better scaling, remove the fact that it needs to be on hallow ground to strip armor and add an effect that buffs.

    If they want to keep the Paladin concept. They can just give Oberon a sword and shield exalted weapon that turns into a thrown weapon when using aerial & heavy attacks, or it can have a "taunting" mechanic when blocking (which I think already exists as a mod)

      nah, he is less paladin and more druid. always has been. his power are very nature based, not holy. the most paladin thing he has, is a healing "aura" that isnt really an aura.

      The most Paladin element is the name in his 1 ability.
      Definitely Druid, especially with his Passive.
      Reminding myself on Nira’s whip, it’s interesting that light is represented as Radiation
      But on the Sword and Shield, he has that as his bundled Prime set

    I don't know what's wrong with you people there is some warframes need a rework more than Oberon like valkyr or Caliban or atlas A while ago I played the archon interception mission and literally Oberon did good All the enemies in the map have been fighting each other for the whole mission, and not once has the enemy been able to capture any tower except once or twice so Oberon need a rework after those warframe I mentioned take it first (I'm using Google translate so don't focus too muchon some words)

      Oberon is a paladin the only paladin in warframe. Hence why he needs to be reworked to be relevant as a paladin, based on where the game has evolved to today not even a subsume makes him feel relevant, throw any helminth on valkyr and she's way better.not the case for oberon he would still feel lackluster.

    There's a lot wrong in this video. Now, things can be tweaked about his kit for sure. But we need to understand what we have first fully before we go into tweaks. First I need to address that radiation statement. It's it probably one of the easiest crowd control/clear tools you can have especially when you can spread it across a lot of enemies really quickly. It causes the enemies to attack each other, with the radiated enemy taking increased damage from friendly fire. Because of this, the enemies will be killing each other off more often then not. It really easily thins out the numbers quick, and leaves the survivors weak.
    For his 1, It also knocks over the targeted enemy... most of the time. It also places radiation on the target, making them a target by any nearby enemies. Usually getting finished off because of that. If used in close proximity you can smite and knock over someone and follow up with a ground finisher if it's a solo target. While not the fastest it can quickly weaken harder opponents. Also a secret thing about it is that it scales with total enemy health/shields. Build some extra damage and you got a good mob clear tool.
    A few things I'd do for 1 is make the main target guaranteed stunned/knocked over for the finisher thing I mentioned at least. I'd also make the damage scale a little bit better too. Because unless you really invest in strength all it is, is a distraction tool. I do kinda like the idea for the armor strip though. Maybe making it strip a bit more armor based on strength would be a good idea too.
    The size on 2 can be massive on max level with just a max level reach mod slotted. It has a high element status effect chance as well allowing it to spread radiation really quickly, allowing you to do the whole radiation thing I mentioned earlier. Also it by itself doesn't provide the defense buff by itself, I'll go into that when I talk about 3.
    Personally, 2 can be unchanged. All I'd do is make it so if a nullifier enemy walks over it, it's not disabled. If anything make it so they can still be affected by the terrain as well.
    the 3 provides a burst heal then does the healing over time. And while under the effect of rejuve it also provides a armor buff, as long as the person affected by Rejuve walks over hallowed terrain. The armor buff will then stick with them as long as Rejuve doesn't get disabled. Yeah, the cost may be a little high. BUT, if you slot in rage (or hunter adrenaline, I go with the latter because cat is good), thanks to the armor buff, and putting in steel fiber, it allows you to rage tank pretty well. Now it's not Steel levels but it's pretty good, and you can do a lot of high level content without much issue. Another thing it does that shouldn't be forgotten is that it makes bleed completely ignorable while it's active, because it seperates the amount of bleed ticks by a substantial margin.
    3 should pretty much be unchanged. Maybe a slight buff to armor so he could handle the highest level of content easier, or maybe make the armor buff scale with strength a bit better. But it should be unchanged overall.
    4 for a majority of mobs the armor strip that reckoning has is sufficient enough with a little bit of strength. It also scales fairly well. The health orbs are pretty good too. Another way to build oberon instead of rage tank is to use equilibrium. Because then you get energy from the health orbs as well. Now it's not the most effective way to do it and is only really good with mobbing/defense missions. It's still a viable option though is the thing. Not only that but the mod you can get to change his 4 makes it so slammed enemies explode. And with some tweaking, you can make it literally infinite, and seizure inducing, and will make the game autoplay.
    4 should be just be unchanged overall. This ability is a prime example of what Oberon is when it comes to his versatility. With the right mods you can make him into a strong support, a strong damage dealer, or a pretty good mix of both with fairly good CC thanks to how reliable he is at spreading nuke across all his abilities.

    Wendigo is a monster in north america created by witchcraft its a beast the strenth of 10 men or more, eats flesh of humans, and has a goat or deer skull on its head, would say deer, its iffy, oberon turning into this beast would be amazing and terrifying for ur wnemies, cause wendigo is literally unkillable, it can be killed, but its very hard to kill

    I tried Oberon once while leveling and thought it was really cool that I could spread the carpet everywhere, but other than that nothing made me want to do any more than get the mastery.
    It would be awesome if the carpet was a longer lasting, or permanent, jungle (like Ogris or Dual Ichor fields) that you can cover a tile with truly transforming it into Oberon territory.

      So Oberons 2 is interesting.
      Mechanically there’s a few effects in play, namely:
      Rad procs for enemies entering
      Status clear for your party
      Grants Armor (when 3 is active)
      The augment adds two other features, bonus duration & reactivate for bonus rad damage to enemies inside

    Yes please. Oberon was my first and most beloved Warframe. I want him to be useful in lategame. But he is outclassed in everything. He is so beautiful. Him, Nekros and Hydroid were and are my favorites, he needs to catch up to them. I still have the most time played with him. I have umbra forma, I want him to be good SO BAD 😭

    Please DE, he is also one of the old frames that has not gotten a new deluxe. Which is sad because I personally dislike his only deluxe skin. It would be AMAZING to see him get reworked, and release the rework with a new deluxe skin for him. A more elegant and "high fashion"/"elvish" deluxe.
    P.S. I do not think he should become voruna 2.0. voruna is amazing already, and has great scaling for late game. I can't think of what exactly should change, because I'm at work right now, but Voruna fills the "claws, lunging and slashing enemies" fantasy already.

      I play as him. he uses a lot of energy, and his 4th ability needs more range and duration, and his 3rd is just a meat shield. His 1st ability is trash it's probably the worst healing ever.

      @@chinossynthesizer705 I used to play him until I decided to love stealth Loki and Ivara. Those are my exact complaints with Caliban. It just seems like he's really niche or a frame that people either like or don't I guess? I don't even remember if he has augment mods for any of his abilities.
