- I made my first ever visit to this lovely church in the village of Dalton-Le-Dale, just outside Seaham.
It's the Church of St Andrew.

So sad 😞 Tough times indeed. My grandmother in Kidderminster lost her first husband to TB when their baby was six weeks old. She remarried my grandfather (from Sunderland) during WW2. Sadly, he died of kidney disease when my mother was a baby. Widowed twice by 23.
That's so sad
IT'S A CRACKER 🍘🍘🍘 MATE THANKS FOR THAT 😮🎉
Nice one Paul!
Thanks and thanks for reminding me about this place
Lovely grounds around the church. It's from 1155 AD.
Cheers for info, it's a lovely place
There’s a lovely old church, st James at castle Eden which has been sold to a developer. What happens to all the headstones ?
Hi, if its a C of E church, there are normally restrictions on what the purchaser can do do the building, even more so if listed building and if its a closed burial ground certain legal requirements. The church at South Hylton was on sale and still might have the advert online showing the conditions.
My gran parents were from Seaham might have some relations buried there
@@timelordvictorious What we're there surnames? I'm planning to do all the other Seaham graveyards, cemeteries in the future and I'll keep an eye out
