I akways use wooden sticks instead of the albion slicks...i have been caulking for a long time...20 yrs or so.. as my dad owns a window company....wondering if C.A.T. slicks would be easier to use around windows then having to resharpen sticks all the time....
We have always used a metal slick/spatula for tooling. Our wet glazing technicians all have different preferences on tools. I know one of our techs does like the CAT slicks, most prefer the classic wood handle style. I would presume you would find more consistency in a metal slick over wood, but we don't have any experience with wood slicks.
Unfortunately, Sika discontinued this product during the pandemic. We suggest Sikaflex 15LM as an alternative. It has very good adhesion properties for dissimilar materials, such as metal flashing and masonry.
Great product demo!
Thank you!
